I just got charged and tried to cancel…

I just got charged and tried to cancel before they shipped and they wouldn't let me. Mind you, this was just a couple of hours after I saw the email came through for the charge and the product had not yet shipped. They told me there was nothing they could do.

In response to the response from Redbox below, I DID CALL IN and was told NOTHING COULD BE DONE. So now I have over $200 of stuff I don't use. Thanks.

Convenience when everything is far away

I live in a very rural area. It is an hour to the doctor’s office which means an hour to pickup a prescription. I was able to get my prescription quickly and painlessly. Coming in the mail - yes please!

After comparing several online…

After comparing several online prescription services I chose redboxrx based on the simplicity of the website and online ordering process. Everything was quick and easy, and the prices were very competitive. My prescription arrived in less than one week. I am very happy so far!

Horrible second appointment.

My first provider was great. The fundamental issue with the service is that you do not see the same provider each time. The second provider I saw was enormously rude and insinuated multiple times that I was lying about my symptoms. Her name was "Dr. Kimberly." Horrific experience, rude, dismissive, and spoke exceptionally fast. Very clear she was just trying to pick up a quick paycheck and move on. If you get a good provider, great. But you better hope that you don't get a horrific one the next appointment.

New to Redbox

New to Redbox, but It’s been a great experience, so far. Two prescriptions filled that I have used for years, but at roughly half the usual cost. Highly recommend!

Avoid

What initially appears convenient quickly turns into a price-gouging tactic.

After the first visit and consultation, I was required to pay for four separate consultation visits in less than a year. One initial visit, another after 30 days, then a dose increase to 2 mg, which triggered two more paid visits.

I later discovered that the medication (Guanfacine) costs about $5 through my insurance at a regular pharmacy, compared to $75 for a 90-day supply through this service. On top of that, they charge an additional fee just to send the prescription to an outside pharmacy.

I reluctantly paid this fee once more after being told that following the 90-day review, the prescription could be sent to Walgreens without additional charges. That turned out to be false. They demanded the same fee again.

At this point, it is clear this is not about patient care or convenience, but about extracting recurring fees. You are far better off getting an Amazon Teladoc subscription or using a standard provider.

This service is unnecessary and functions primarily as a money grab.

Our service is a little different from other services that charge you a monthly subscription fee. We only charge you if you receive a medication or a service. This gives more control to our patients, and they don't have to worry about being charged a subscription fee even if they don't receive any services that month. You will only see a fee if you initiate a consultation with a provider or are shipped medication. We offer many different treatment plans, and many of those plans include automatic refills. In those cases, you would not need another evaluation unless you run out of refills or need to consult with your provider for another reason. Depending on the treatment, you can select either a 30-day supply or a 90-day supply of medication, with or without refills. Depending on the days’ supply of medication you choose at the start of our questionnaire, you may be able to get a one month, three month, six month, or a year’s worth of medication. This way, you would not have to pay for a provider visit every time you need an additional fill of medication. You can also find that information on our website (along with the pricing for those options) under the condition you wish to treat through our services.

For our patients who wish to use our pharmacy, we offer a discount on the provider visit fee. If you choose not to use our pharmacy, we do charge the full provider visit, but you are able to use your insurance to help with the cost of the prescription at your local pharmacy. We understand that our service may not be right for everyone, but we believe that we can help many receive access to affordable, quality healthcare that might not receive it otherwise. Many of our patients do not have prescription insurance coverage or have high deductible plans. Our visit fees and prescriptions costs are often less than typical insurance copays. While our prices vary by condition, we are focused on keeping prices as affordable as possible for our patients. After a visit to my dermatologist where my concerns were dismissed, my best friend told me about this site where she gets her treatments. Super easy and convenient! Provider reviewed and approved my treatment very fast and order is already on the way! Online providers listen to you more than in person ones! Cost is reasonable and I can use my FSA which is a bonus! Definitely recommended!

Love Redbox RX

I use Redbox RX for a few items. I love the convenience! The cost is much better than prescriptions that you get for the same product. I have had to have a conversation with the MD - very helpful, very thorough, and I didn't feel like it was a waste of time. Will continue using !!

I'm not sure the drug I got was real

I'm not sure the drug I got was real. It has always helped me sleep in the past but the one I received from redbox has not helped even the slightest bit. I probably slept 2 hours. With the CVS drug I was asleep within 30 minutes. Very suspicious. And I have taken 3 instead of the 1 or 2 I usually take.

So fast, so easy!

This process is amazing! From the RedBox site, made an appt, got in the NEXT DAY (!!!), I filled out some information, had a brief meeting with a provider (10 minutes or so) and I was good to go. My prescription (eyelash growth serum) is now shipped and on it's way to me. Seriously, this is so easy. In a world in which most health care is a nightmare, thank you RedBox, for making this so painless, accessible, and overall amazing. I will absolutely use this service again.

Always very helpful

Always very helpful. I wish your shipping was quicker. There is very little update on shipping. I have a really bad UTI and am waiting for my medication. You should have expedited shipping at a cost. I would gladly pay it. I understand my order comes from San Bernardino. CA. Could you check on this please?

PlushCare to RedBox - So Much Better!

Coming from PlushCare, RedBox was such a better experience. It's easy to get with a provider and get my ADHD and Anxiety medications through here. Insurance isn't something they take, so the prices are the same for everyone (unless using a promo code). PlushCare on the other hand was trying to charge me $200+ in hidden fees for a 30 day supply of an ADHD medication because I didn't have insurance. Definitely an upgrade!

Finally a source to get a prescription…

Finally a source to get a prescription medicine that does not require nor need a doctor visit! I needed a skin cream that I only use during the winter months. Making a doctor's appointment just to get a prescription refilled was too expensive. I tried Redbox RX. Answered a few questions and the prescription was sent. How wonderful is that!

Thank you for your feedback Dianna. When you start a visit, there will be two charges. One for your physician consultation and a second charge for medication, if prescribed. Charges for any prescribed treatments are not included in the visit fee. When you select a preferred treatment, the cost of the medication will be shown on the visit checkout page but will NOT be charged to your payment method on file until it is prescribed at the completion of your visit. If a treatment is prescribed that is different from what you've selected, you will be asked to review and pay for your prescribed treatment.

We offer discounted provider visit fees when you choose to use our pharmacy. If you choose to use your local pharmacy, we do charge the full provider visit fee, but you will receive your prescription much more quickly. As found on our website, our default shipping method is through the USPS, and it can take anywhere from 3-7 business days to receive your prescription. We do offer expedited shipping options through the UPS as well.

After reviewing your case, I see that your visit was completed and your prescription processed and shipped out within 24-hours which is always our goal. You can check the tracking information in your account for further updates on delivery. Not too shabby

Not too shabby. Pretty easy. Pretty inexpensive. The ER has me $3G's in debt & I just needed cream. They wanted to to keep rollin' wit there madness. Not cool. But RedB hooked me up on the fly. Hope they expand.
