I had a very disappointing experience with Red Driving School. I paid £270 to start my driving lessons, but when it was time to begin, I was blocked on WhatsApp and could no longer contact them. I have not received the lessons I paid for, and I have not been given a satisfactory explanation.
Communication was extremely poor, and being blocked instead of receiving support was shocking and unprofessional.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Red Driving School. I would advise anyone considering booking lessons to be very careful and ensure they have clear communication and written confirmation before making any payment.

I passed my driving test with RED Driving School, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. My instructor, Steve, was patient, friendly, and really supportive throughout the whole process. He made me feel confident behind the wheel and was always happy to help. I’d definitely recommend asking for Steve if you’re looking for a great instructor!

Passing my driving test on my first attempt just a week ago was an incredible feeling—I can't even describe how happy I was when I got the result!
This wouldn't have been possible without my amazing instructor, Joy Mary Naylor, and I am truly grateful for everything she did throughout my learning journey. Every lesson was productive and full of valuable practice and repetition.
Overall, my experience learning to drive was excellent from start to finish, and it led to the perfect result. I highly recommend Joy to anyone looking for a patient, supportive, and dedicated driving instructor. Thank you so much for helping me achieve this milestone!

My experience in driving at first was quite sluggish in the first few lessons but honestly I wouldn't have got that confidence if it wasn't for my instructor Jim. He knows how to teach you well and catches your mistakes early, explaining them in a way that makes sense rather than putting you under pressure. Even then he will tell you tips on what to expect on your practical test. If you are eager to pass your test and are serious about driving, Jim is the only person to go to.

I passed my driving test in Peterborough with 3 minors. Daniel Hooban was my driving instructor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who’s learning to drive. Explains everything clearly and in a way that’s easy to understand, always goes through your errors and weaknesses and helps you improve them.
Very good driving instructor for anyone looking to do lessons in Peterborough area!

I passed my driving test, with only one minor, with Anuj. His teaching helped me become a confident driver and learn new skills, as he explained things very thoroughly. His patience and support were greatly appreciated, and grew my resilience in learning to drive. He allowed me to learn in ways I found easiest and always ensured I understood where I needed to focus and improve. I am so grateful for his teaching. I would highly recommend Anuj, especially for those with less confidence in driving, as his patient teaching got rid of any worries I had and made me a safe driver. Thank you so much.

Tanisha Broady is a very good driving instructor - she was truly dedicated to helping me drive the best I could. She gave clear explanations to all of my questions (don't hesitate to ask her to clarify things you don't understand!) and provided me with useful advice - her suggestion that I commentate while driving was excellent, helped calm my nerves and increase my awareness and observation. I would (and have!) definitely recommend her to anyone that is learning how to drive.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Red Driving School.
The first time I booked a driving lesson, it was cancelled at the last minute, and I had to wait around 20 days to receive my refund. I decided to give the school another chance and booked another lesson.
Now, my lesson was scheduled for tomorrow, but I received a cancellation message at around 7:30 PM today, with almost no notice. My practical driving test is next week, and this last-minute cancellation has put me in a very difficult situation. Practical test appointments are extremely hard to get and often take several months to secure.
This level of unreliability is unacceptable, especially for learners who are preparing for an important driving test. Cancelling lessons at the last minute causes unnecessary stress and can seriously affect a student’s chances of passing.
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. I expected much better professionalism and reliability.

I had John Sunuwar for 3 weeks and he took me from a learner to a driver, where I passed with 1 minor. Very dedicated, clear instructor, would completely recommend. Instructs at Sidcup, Belvedere and Erith.

Anthony Silvera was a brilliant instructor and I’d highly recommend him. I was able to pass first time thanks to his patience, encouragement, and expert teaching.
He always took the time to explain things clearly and no question was too silly. That was hugely helpful given I lacked road awareness and confidence. He made sure I understood not just what to do, but why, and gave me simple, practical techniques for remembering things. I always felt safe and assured when driving with him.
Anthony was also excellent at spotting areas where I needed improvement and helping me get those right before the test. His mock tests were great preparation and gave me a realistic experience of what the test would be like. A big thank you!

Passed my Driving Test first time in Portsmouth today. Wouldn’t have been possible without my instructor Ian. Super helpful and extremely knowledgable. I live in London and still managed to pass first time in a new area thanks to his help. Highly recommend him if anyone’s taking a test in and around Portsmouth 👍 10/10 overall

I would highly recommend Michael to anyone wanting to learn to drive. He was incredibly patient and helpful from the second he started teaching me and ensured that I knew everything that I needed to when taking me into my test. He made sure that I had learned every aspect that could come up in the test and answered any queries that I had immediately, and it was due to him that I passed. I couldn't have done it without him and would definitely recommend him to anyone as I believe he is the best about. He was really friendly through my entire 6 months with him and ensured that I both learnt to drive well and also felt comfortable with him, which I did and really enjoyed all of my time in the car, making the lessons both fun and helpful. He is the perfect instructor and I am very grateful for his help, Thank you so much!

I cannot recommend Luke Gurling highly enough. He is patient, attentive and has a great eye for detail, always explaining things clearly and helping you understand not just how to pass the test, but how to drive safely and confidently in real-world conditions.
Luke is also constantly learning and staying up to date with everything driving-related, which really shows in the quality of his teaching. Thanks to his support, I passed first time and came away feeling genuinely prepared to drive independently.

Had a great experience learning to drive with Roger Page (Hemel Hempstead area) and will be recommending him to friends and family. I started with zero driving experience and was able to pass my test on my first attempt.
Roger understands very well what it's like to be a learner driver. He can explain things from the perspective of someone seeing it for the first time, even if they seem obvious to experienced drivers. I never felt embarrassed to ask “stupid questions”.
I appreciate how Roger respects your time. He uses lesson time efficiently by focusing specifically on improving your weak points rather than just driving around without a clear aim. He also has excellent knowledge of the local area and knows the junctions and roundabouts where learners often struggle.
I feel I have been taught good habits and the right mindset to continue improving as a driver after passing my test. Thank you again to Roger and RDS.

Tim Dale is a great driving instructor, he really helped me to prepare for my driving test and develop general driving skills. I would really recommend him as instructor to new learners as I found the way that he structured his teaching and lessons really helpful.

Been so let down by both company and the instructor Adam Stoll …. Bought my package for automatic car for 21 hours and already knew how to drive just needed more confidence in the streets . Had all my hours in a 4 weeks frame and the have an exam on the 5th of August . Instructor knew about my exam before even starting the lessons and did mention it every single lesson about it as well . On his schedule I was already booked for exam with him. Been told at the lessons that I’m doing great and will do fine on the exam . On the last lesson we chatted about it and said we will meet on the exam day as I’m leaving for holiday now . Yesterday he called me refusing to give me a car for the exam because if I fail that will reflect on his car …. Which is so disappointing knowing that he told me after we already finished the lessons and he could not even say this to my face , and fed me bullshit through out the lessons . I think it’s very unprofessional to say this the last minute when I’m no longer able to find anyone else for the exam . He offered me to get my own car and do the exam but not in his . Called to RED to complain and all they could do is refund me for 3 hours of exam lesson and that’s all they could not do anything else about it . Wouldn’t be so angry about the situation if it were mentioned at some point in the lessons that he thought I would need some extra few hours, but he chose to use the lessons first and let me know through the phone.
