I’ve had a negative experience with recruiter Dawid Janocki. He was very responsive before the interview but quickly disappeared afterward. While detailed feedback isn’t expected, a brief email or call would have been appropriate, especially after a follow-up was sent.

I had an outstanding experience with Reed, particularly the Cambridge office and Enrida Jashari’s team. They supported me through every step of securing my next role — from interview preparation to identifying the right opportunity — and even went above and beyond by assisting with the UK settlement process, which was a legal requirement for the position. Their dedication and professionalism made a real difference, and I’m genuinely grateful for their support.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Reed Specialist Recruitment.
After completing all required recruitment and compliance steps—including submitting extensive documentation, background checks, DBS clearance, references, and responding promptly to all requests—communication completely stopped after 4 February.
Despite sending multiple polite follow-up emails, I received no updates, no guidance, and no explanation as to whether the process was progressing, paused, or stalled.
To the best of my knowledge, I submitted everything required. If anything had been missing, there was no proactive follow-up or guidance, which should be a basic professional standard in recruitment.
Candidates should not be left guessing after investing significant time, energy, and personal resources.
More concerning was the apparent lack of managerial oversight or escalation. The process seemed to be handled independently without supervision when communication broke down, leaving the candidate completely unsupported. Without proper escalation mechanisms, candidates are left in uncertainty despite full compliance.
I eventually requested erasure of my personal data under UK GDPR, which also went unacknowledged, further adding to concerns around compliance and accountability.
Overall, this experience reflected poor communication, lack of transparency, and inadequate recruitment governance. I would advise candidates to proceed with caution unless clear communication, oversight, and accountability are demonstrated.

Great contract agency but even though client said to me personally they though my work was thorough and would have me anytime but not through read as they where charging them a £1000 per day for my skills, I told them I wasn't being paid anywhere near that amount just £50 per day, I was so angry and as you can imagine so was the client. Why are all agencies so greedy and villainous ?

Ryan Latter helped me find a contract role, matching my experience to the right position rather than just filling a vacancy.
I would not hesitate to contact Ryan when this contract ends and I need to find my next job.
Highly recommended.

Connor Stainthorpe was honestly brilliant. He was so easy to talk to and always spoke to me like a friend, which made the whole process feel really comfortable.
He kept me updated every step of the way, and even though I originally applied for a different role, he actually reached out to an organisation he’d worked with before because he thought something better might be coming up. It turned out to be the perfect fit for both me and them.
I’m really grateful for his help and couldn’t recommend him more.

Over the last 5 years I have worked with Abi Magauran at Reed. Her professional approach and knowledge has been so important for us to recruit the correct candidate. Changing briefs or even decisions is met with courtesy and support.
I would recommend Abi and Reed to anyone who is looking for recruitment support.

My review relates to Reed Learning, who by default become my learning provider for my CIPD Level 7, through the acquisition of another provider who I originally signed up with [Watson Martin]. My experience of Reed Learning has been appalling. Not really interested in supporting learners, multiple different tutors assigned, not interested in learning and development for candidates, no regard for reasonable adjustments, EDI issues and simply refer you to their complaints process when you challenge their conduct, rather than seek to resolve issues - and very little follow up. I would avoid them at all cost - there are much better providers out there. Don't waste time or money with the,
