I cannot thank Connor Stainthorpe enough.

After a difficult few months trying to find a role suited to my new needs, Connor went above and beyond for me. He was incredibly kind, empathetic, professional and supportive throughout the entire process.

He even helped me prepare for my interview on the morning of and gave genuinely helpful feedback.

I worked with this agency on a supply placement and unfortunately experienced repeated issues with basic professionalism and communication.

Everything was going well until my initial consultant, Luke, left. On more than one occasion, payment was not made on time. My placement was also ended without being communicated to me in advance, which caused unnecessary disruption.
There was a significant delay in applying AWR (over a month beyond the qualifying point), despite this being a statutory entitlement. During my time with the agency, multiple consultants assigned to me left without any handover or notification, which contributed to poor continuity and confusion.
Shifts were not consistently uploaded to the agency’s own platform, and communication was often difficult — with emails and phone calls going unanswered and, at times, responses being abrupt.
While individual staff members may have been doing their best, the overall experience suggested disorganisation and a lack of reliable systems. I would advise other supply teachers to keep careful records and to seek clear, written confirmation on pay, AWR, and booking arrangements.

Also; since I left i have been booked onto a number of shifts then cancelled at their end citing that I "Did not work"

I'm really happy that I got Victoria Jaros as my recruitment consultant. She has been really supportive and onboarded me so quickly to ensure I could start work as soon as possible. I've really enjoyed my experience with Reed so far, and I feel at ease corresponding with Victoria about anything I need.

Connor Stainthorpe from Reed is worth his weight in gold. I had been (unsuccessfully) job hunting for 3 weeks when he contacted me to let me know he had a job that I might be interested in. I work for a food convenience retail business and shortly before Christmas we had a situation at one of our stores which meant we needed additional staff to help urgently at 6am on Christmas Eve. I phoned Jackie Horgan at around 3pm on 23rd December and requested help. Jackie and her colleagues Chris Willsher, Jessica Cecil, Melissa Knowles, and Sophie Mcdonald stepped up to the challenge, working over their normal working hours to provide us with 11 colleagues to work on Christmas Eve at 6am. Jackie provided me with regular updates throughout the evening, even past 8pm. Christmas Eve itself we requested a few additional workers to continue to help, and Jackie and colleagues spent their Christmas Eve working to support us right up until their time to leave. I just want to express my gratitude to Jackie and the team for all of their work at a time of crisis over the Christmas period. Thank you all! From Nicole

i chose a course through Reeds Learning I thought it should be great I completed it i am glad but after completing it i felt like i got scammed i had to take one retake where on that website which reeds learning diverted me showed the amount 4.99 for retake i was in bit rush i didnt check they charged me 6.99 instead Plus VAT its not finished there they also deducted somewhere around 16 pound for the certificates without my consent altogether they took almost 22 pound after finishing the course successfully i called them the person of Academy for Health and Fitness told me its only PDF format fee. OH MY DAYS
I feel like it scam done by Reeds first to allow these kind of people to RIP peoples pocket

Absolutely HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE
Pls be aware that any confidential information you share with your area manager will be shared without your consent with the same people you complained about.
If you dare to raise a grievance against someone be aware you’ll be treated worse than a criminal and be called a liar over and over again even though you have proof.
They are good for nothing, will not help you at all when you need it. They will request information and documents they legally cannot request, and if you refuse you’ll be mistreated until you finally ask to quit.

Working with my senior recruitment consultant Sabina was a fantastic experience. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire process, providing valuable insights and support.
