TPU tubes
I've been wanting to try TPU inner tubes for a while now but I was initially put off by the price tag. We've all heard the advantages, lower rolling resistance, how little room they take up (great as spares) and the light weight. I know many of these advantages can be had by using tubeless but in all honesty I don't want the faff of tubeless. Despite how everyone goes on about the weight saving I was still surprised at just how little they weigh when I changed the tubes and having them in my hands at the same time. The Velo-Tool tubes came with 3 patches (2 repair and 1 to stop valve stem ratting) which is great for if you do happen to pick up a puncture. After a few rides I have noticed there is a difference to butyl tubes, it's a difference that in my opinion is worth the slight extra cost and going forward I'll 100% be using TPU rather than butyl.
