Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 29 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the product to be of poor quality, with issues such as inaccurate readings for pulse, oxygen levels, and step counts, making it unreliable for health monitoring. The watches frequently experienced problems with charging, with some stopping entirely after a few months, and others having charging cables that failed quickly. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the overall value for money, feeling that the product's performance did not justify its price, and some even suggested it was a waste of money. However, some people mentioned that the watch was good for telling time, receiving notifications, and had an adequate internal speaker, with a few finding the design appealing. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that despite its flaws, the watch was acceptable given its low cost, acknowledging that they got what they paid for.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Buying a reflex active watch was the biggest waste of money. I don't think I've ever regretted buying anything more than this rubbish.

I started by buying the series 25 because of the nice looking design, but when I took it home, I realised that there's no way to have the watch connected for notifications without also being forced to answer phone calls on my wrist. It's either ALL calls and notifications or None! I do not wish to walk around talking into my watch.

I went back to the store and exchanged it for a series 5. This is even worse!!!

It's got a big round screen but the display is only a tiny little square in the middle.

I am receiving notifications an hour after I've already cleared it off my phone.

The font is unreadable.

The watch says my battery is full but the app says it's at 67%.

The watch is useless, I can barely even see the time because the display is so small.

I can't believe that I can't return this back to where I bought it from. Instead, I have to wait weeks and weeks for it to be mailed back to whatever country makes them.

EDIT: Whilst writing this review at 1:20pm AEST, I got a notification on my wrist that I received on my phone at 10:20am.

This is my second Series 8 watch

This is my second Series 8 watch. Returned the first (to Argos) when it just wouldn’t switch back on after charging. The replacement has never worked properly. I don’t mind the constant watch face change even though some are very hard to read in daylight, but this one has never recorded sleep, heart rate etc (the first one did) and worse, doesn’t record steps properly. It’s actually de-motivating to know you’ve walked 10,000 steps or more but watch says 2800! I know you get what you pay for but I may as well have thrown my £25 in the bin.
PS Previously had a very basic Radley watch which served me well for years until I lost it so not all cheaper watches have these problems.

It's good for notifications and steps…

It's good for notifications and steps but says often my heart rate is 160 bpm even when I'm not wearing it.also not recording sleep. Not great if I'm honest but wasn't expensive and you get what you pay for I guess.

Don't bother

Sent my series 15 back after it stopped working 12mths later. Worked great up till then. They replaced it with series 23 which I find is rubbish. Plus cheaper to buy.
Does not record sleep. Says I have done 22000 steps when I have not been mobile much.
Unable to set achievements.
Only fit to tell the time. Message notifications

Studio Pro Over-Ear Headphones - Great!

Bought their Studio Pro over-ear Headphones in a gorgeous Burgundy colour. Fab look and fit on the head. Super easy to use and set up, quick to find in my Bluetooth list and paired easily. Comes with a USB-C charging cable and was quick to charge completely. Music sounds great when listening to all genres, just needs a little bit of a bass boost when it comes to DnB (just my personal opinion) but nothing that can't be solved by adjusting through Spotify's equaliser. Would definitely buy again, or for a friend!

So disappointed and angry

So disappointed and angry. I bought the reflect active 29 for £60 (in the sale) which is big spend on disability. I’ve had no end of problems. I’m a wheelchair user. Occasionally using crutches in the house. The step counter tracks me at 10,000+ each day. Wrong. The heart rate monitor doesn’t work well when I do upper body wheelchair workouts. Initially I was impressed by the battery but oh look very suddenly with no changes the battery drops like a stone. I’ve only had it two weeks. Can’t find the receipt to return. Can’t get it to a repair centre because I’m disabled and don’t travel well. What a waste of money.

Room for improvement

Having been a Fitbit wearer for years, my husband surprised me with a RA he purchased from BA. I can’t make it work with my apple health, the settings are greyed out. It doesn’t appear to be tracking my steps correctly and says I’ve only burned 213 calories after a whole day on the go. Also you have to ask it to measure heart rate whereas as the Fitbit monitors regularly. It’s a nice looking watch and it’s great to answer calls which I can’t do on my Fitbit but I wonder if this function has come at the cost of the fitness elements.
