They showed an apartment, I left deposit for it. Next day they say the owner changed its mind. I asked about some other options. We arrenged a meeting for another apartment and I was preciese in my words when I said that "Are you sure we will make a contract on this apartment tomorrow and nothing stops it?" they said "Yes". Next day kinda the same story happens, I hear some stories saying that we can sign the contract next day. I asked my deposit back and they said that the owner can sign the contract 6pm which does not mean it is 100% gonna happen and I could waste another day. So I took my deposit never looking back...

Recently, Victor Apsis served as the agent for a fine flat that my wife and I rented in the center of Sofia, Bulgaria. We were rather picky as flat shoppers; searching for just the right place where our small family could thrive and grow, and where I could be very productive working from home as an internet entrepreneur.

Victor was the most professional real estate agent that we dealt with in our time searching for a new home. We were impressed with his communication style, English skills, personal touch, follow-up, and reliability in dealing with us and our landlords.

In the course of our transaction, a small mistake was made by RE/MAX which resulted in a point of negotiation with the landlords. Victor and RE/MAX took responsibility for this mistake and worked to resolve the issue, resulting in us moving into a place we now love.

As a foreigner, I was understandably wary of renting a flat in Sofia via a realtor. But we were overall very pleased with Victor Apsis and RE/MAX. Victor will remain an asset to flat shoppers, landlords, and Sofia - the city I’ve come to call home.
