I was looking private landlords Renthero came up. Stating it was a site for private landlords. And showed me properties with contact landlord.
To contact landlord I was to pay for 7 day trail. I read terms and conditions. Got landlord details for a few properties. To find the landlords where letting agents.
So in truth I was defrauded by deception for the trail fee. I instantly cancelled the subscription. To find today Renthero are stealing my money £35. On the weekend I have my son. And was taking him to a theme park for fayhers day. But no Renthero have stopped that. So when you reply Renthero I read your T and Cs and cancelled my subscription. How dare you take my money you will return it immediately

Scam for tenants
We are an estate agent that has our properties relisted on this website without our consent. The relistings are inaccurate in the property listing, probably because the company makes money by asking viewers to take out a subscription to get more information. If they see a £500 two bedroom flat in Edinburgh, of course they're going to jump at the opportunity. Then once they pay they find out it's actually 90 miles away.
The company also doesn't follow Scottish government regulations for listing properties meaning it doesn't show the Letting Agent Registration number, landlord registration number, and the EPC. We are getting complaints from potential viewers and sick of it. We don't want out properties advertised on your website and think RentHero UK is following predatory business practices. All the sites our properties are listed do not charge viewers to contact us. We as the agent pay the subscription.

i would not even rate it 1 star, from the start i was interested in a property and it was pay the fee of £1 for landlords details. No details were given what they did do was steel £35 out of my bank. They have been trying take money since the 24th April and constantly trying take money of my card and then managing to take £35. Now ive been sent the same reply twice with no evidence i signed up to anything just very sarcastic and disrespectful.

Misleading £2 Trial That Converted Into £35 Subscription
I signed up for a £2 trial believing it would provide access to direct landlord property listings. However, many of the listings appeared to already be available on free platforms such as Rightmove and Zoopla, and several were still linked to agents.
The trial automatically converted into a £35 recurring subscription after 7 days. Although the company states this was disclosed during signup and in confirmation emails, I personally did not fully appreciate that I was entering an ongoing subscription.
I cancelled the subscription as soon as I noticed the renewal charge, but my refund request was refused because the cancellation occurred after renewal.
Customer support responded professionally and confirmed cancellation, but I was disappointed that no goodwill refund or partial refund was offered given the circumstances and limited use of the service.
I would strongly advise future users to carefully read the subscription terms and cancel before the renewal date if they do not wish to continue.

Don’t do it just go directly to the letting agents website
Misleading adverts just take you to an agents own website. I can look there I came to this site because allegedly you can deal directly with a landlord and cut the middle man out. This is just an additional 2-bit middle man.

Subscription money sat in pending in my bank £35. I am now in contact with my bank to make a dispute, as the phone number comes up as call ended. I used their chat option. Worse than useless. Sent an email no reply. I think they are frauds. Stay clear of them. They are still advertising.
