Worst Repair Experience Ever – They DESTROYED

I went to this so-called repair lab to get my screen replaced, and they handed me back a phone that was worse than when I walked in. The “repair” left my phone overheating so badly it could have been dangerous. When I complained, they told me the only way I could get a refund was if they slapped someone else’s broken screen onto my phone. Seriously?!

Because of their shoddy work, my phone overheated to the point the battery is now completely dead. They’ve refused to take any responsibility and won’t do a thing to fix the mess they caused. Absolutely disgraceful customer service, no professionalism, and zero care for their customers. Do yourself a favour stay far away from this place. They’ll take your money and leave you with a useless, broken phone.

Incompetence at it’s best

I took my phone here to be repaired and the sound didn’t work after. It was a simple repair of the screen of an iPhone. I am shocked to still see they are in business. Please use your money elsewhere and do not trust. I posted a review a while ago which they had removed. Please be wary.

AMAZING SERVICE

This is the third time I've used Repair Lab at Kirkstall, Leeds.
On each occasion I've had a top quality repair at a perfect price.
Yesterday I took my Huawei P20 Pro in for a battery replacement. It was repaired within 2 hours for £49.
The service was excellent and the phone is working perfectly
I have no hesitation recommending this company and will always give them first option to repair my items.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking, con artist and gaslighter.

Took my desktop PC in after there was undue fan noise from an earlier repair by another shop, claimed previous shop had damaged the motherboard and it needed a £300+replacement, commissioned an independent report on the damage that I could use to reclaim costs of damage.

Report never showed up and when threatened with legal action he sent me what he claimed was the report but document properties showed he'd just written it himself, there were no contact details on it and name of alleged writer isn't even a real name on google.

When I pointed this out to him he replied with an email signd off 'r*tards' and told me 'I hope you get help'.

Be aware that he trades from a slightly different name to what's on his receipts which will catch you out when you try to file a small claims case against him.

iPhone SE Home Button repair FollowUp

Today, I’ve contacted the Repair Lab in Kirkstall, regarding my iPhone SE home button repair because it started not working properly. He acknowledged the issue and after I asked him for availability, he offered to check the iPhone today. I took it to the Repair Lab, he checked it and fixed the home button at the same time of my visit. Once he finished, he checked with me that the iPhone home button works properly again. This repair visit was arranged under the 3 month warranty scheme from the day the receipt was issued as per his advice. All in all, I can confirm that this time the repair service was quick and smooth. Thanks.

Do not visit! Would definitely not recomend!

Do not visit! had my iPhone 8 back glass replaced they have further broken my phone by breaking the touch ID and completely denied all responsibility claiming it didn't work when I took it in which was not the case, the glass back repair which I took it for is also very shoddy. I have since found out apple do not sell parts to small repair shops so their claim they use genuine parts is a blatant lie. Like their claim of a 1 year warranty on all repairs, I have the receipt from them and this guarantee was not honored.
Most positive reviews of this company only have ever made one review instantly after signing up which is very suspicious.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

Prices hiking up 👎🏻

On the robb, used this store as the phone shop I normally use was closed and I was in need of a fast repair. I knew the chap that runs this place as he used to work for the other store. However I’ve been really disappointed when he tried to charge me 50 quid more than advertised online for a simple screen repair...

Steer clear, they will try to drain as much of your money as possible !
