No fuss

No fuss! Explained if a breakdown happened and needed recovery!
I’ve used this company before and was very impressed! The gentleman that explained everything was extremely pleasant ! Price point is very good!!
Nice to know they have your back!!

Be warned this company left my wife stranded

Be warned this company left my vulnerable wife stranded and refused to help her because simply in their exclusions was they would not come out if you didnt carry tyre aresol inflater in your car. Absolutely disgusting. She got a hole in her tyre due to a pothole, a tyre aresol inflater would have made no difference and despite paying full membership refused to help.
To give a balanced review the customer lady was very apologetic and did everything she could to help despite having her hands tied by a useless company.
Cheap for a reason, avoid at all costs you are paying for breakdown but they refuse to come out on a ridiclious exclusion that wouldnt have made a difference. Absolute cowboys to leave a vulnerable women and refuse to help. They have stolen my money.

Yes it is in your terms and conditions but my question is why? Just a way to avoid the cost of coming out.
It's ok as I have joined a reputable company now that don't have ridiclious terms and conditions and will not leave a vulnerable female at the road side.

Our policies require that the vehicle carries a suitable temporary tyre repair solution (for example, a spare wheel or puncture repair kit), and this is set out in the terms and conditions. This is why assistance was declined on this occasion.

Amazing service!

I've been a member for about 7 years now and have had to use them a few times for different issues. Every time I've used them they have been really good and easy to use. Last night I had to call them again and the recovery van was with me in less than 15 minutes! That is amazing service. Maybe I was lucky, but you can't do better than that. They are a very affordable breakdown company and the service they provide is just brilliant. Call handlers have always been friendly too.

Not what I expected from 'national' assistance

I bought National assistance expecting it to be like every other national assistance where you know you can get home, whatever happens from anywhere in the UK. I broke down on holiday 70 miles away from home going from the beach to the caravan with 3 dogs in the car. It was not fixable on the road and looked like it would need to be scrapped so I asked to be taken home only to be told that because I had already said I was enroute to the caravan when I broke down, they would only take me there or a garage (pointless) and max distance they would take me is 10 miles. If I wanted to be taken home, it would cost an extra £430+ but they didn't even think they could do that so my only option was to be left stranded on a busy slip road or taken to place that could have made the situation worse (to a place further away from home and entirely inappropriate). Certainly not what I expected from 'national' assistance. So only rely on this company if you are happy to be taken to Asda miles away from home if you break down and that's where you were heading. My policy has only just renewed (after being with them for 12 months but not needing any help) and I have 11 months left but their service is worse than useless so I will be getting alternative cover from a company that provides useful options in the event of a breakdown ASAP. And all that after taking 20 minutes just to answer the phone!

Our National Assistance cover provides recovery to either your home address or your onward destination, whichever is closest to the point of breakdown. Where a customer wishes to travel further than that, our terms and conditions state that additional mileage charges will apply, which is why you were quoted extra to go home on this occasion.
