I was just very disappointed when retro sweet club, offered a better buy 1 get 2 free deal to entice new customers. I felt this was penalizing the customers who had already loved your product enough to support you by signing up. The deal should have been transferred over to all existing customers as well. I thought the range of sweets was fantastic and looked forward to getting a new bag every month.

Value for money
We were looking forward to having some old fashioned sweets but they were too sweet and one of us has diabetes so we gave them away. Good value for money though

Thanks for your review however we must point out that it is entirely inaccurate - our website clearly states "each bag of our Classic Retro Mix contains at least 900g of treats".
If one of the bags you received weighed up to 1kg then you were lucky enough to receive a wonderful extra helping of retro treats. Thank you for warning others to "be aware" of the Brucie Bonus you received!
If you were so concerned about this matter, you could have reached out to us directly for us to explain the above.

Started great..but wouldn’t communicate with customers.who had purchased.and when I cancelled they kept taking out of my bank and are still taking a monthly payment for no goods..shocking behaviour.plus as stated sweets were good to start with ok we had one bad bag but they wouldn’t talk to us instead we finally got everyone says it our best seller? Not what we asked. Plus the last box was horrendous we couldn’t eat the products.as they were so dried out.plus box was smashed to pieces again no recourse from this company...still trying to cancel...bad bad bad...customer service

Thank you for your review however it contains many untruths and slanderous accusations that we take very seriously. To recap our communication:
19th January - you enquired about the size of our sweet bags, we responded the same day, offered you a discount and you placed a subscription order that day.
26th January - you placed a second subscription order.
18th February - you emailed to say you were "loving the sweets but not the strawberry and cream Bon Bon’s... this one wasn’t a success and won’t be ordering these again". We responded to say we had taken your feedback onboard but politely mentioned that the Strawberry & Cream Bon Bon's were one of our best sellers and no one else had complained about them. At no point did you ask for your subscription(s) to be cancelled. As you had placed multiple orders, it appeared you were simply stating that you wouldn't be placing another order - which you did in fact do the following day...
19th February - you placed a third subscription order.
2nd March - you emailed to say "I have asked twice now for sweets orders to be cancelled... also customer XXXXX. Was also to be cancelled."
3rd March - we replied the following day to apologise and said that it wasn't clear from your previous email that you wanted to cancel one, let alone two subscriptions. We informed you that your subscriptions had been cancelled and we never heard from you again.
You emailed us three times and we replied to each email either the same day or the next day. Therefore it's categorically untrue to claim we didn't communicate or talk with you. You never raised an issue with the quality of the product or any damaged parcel received.
Also, I have just checked the Royal Mail tracking details for each purchase and payment from yourself and all of those parcel were delivered to you - therefore it is also false to say that we are "still taking a monthly payment for no goods".

Good selection of sweets
Good selection of sweets, all in paper bags. Took some to the hospital where my hubby is a patient. Makes a nice change from chocolates.

Truffle Rescue!
Birthdays were coming up & the Belgian Truffles seemed a good idea. They were back in stock & as well received as they were the first time round. Would recommend anytime.

Find it funny you ask for review. I signed up for £14.99 month The next day you put price down to £9.99 I called and said was disappointed and instead of saying as goodwill gesture you just cancel the subscription. Don’t think it was good on your behalf as when sweets arrived I would have continued and told others... but unfortunately the opposite

Thank you for your review but in fairness and totally clarity, this is not an accurate version of events. You emailed (not "called") to say last week (therefore not "the next day") you had ordered at a higher price and stated - "will just cancel my subscription".
We apologised for any disappointment and explained that as a new company we were trying out various offers to see which one worked best. As you had requested, we cancelled your subscription but said we hoped to see your name pop back up in the future.
Many companies continually adjust their pricing and it's disappointing that you have rated us so low based on this one factor and not on the quality of our product which you must have enjoyed if you were willing to recommend it to others.
