Affiliate experience – commissions denied after completed sales
I participated in the RGB Halo Kits affiliate program and successfully referred real customers who completed purchases.
However, the commissions were later denied because my affiliate link was placed on a coupon/deals website. This restriction was not clearly communicated upfront, and I acted in good faith when promoting their products.
Despite the sales being completed and value being delivered to the company, no payment was issued. The response from their team was that this traffic source is “not eligible,” and no exception could be made.
In my opinion, this raises concerns about how the affiliate program handles attribution and payouts, especially when affiliates are not clearly informed of restrictions before generating sales.
I recommend future affiliates carefully review all traffic source limitations before promoting.
