The Coaching Element of Ria Health
The coaching element of Ria Health makes the entire program worth it for me. My coach -Bobby Uppal- is kind and considerate while helping me to set realistic and measuable goals for my treatment. I strongly recommend him to anyone in the program (especially to new enrollees).
The support has been amazing from high…
The support has been amazing from high to low points in my journey. Michael and Ben have seen me through it all. I don't know where I would be without this program and support system
Highly recommended.
I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to re-adjust their drinking habits. Been in it 6 months and I’m very happy I did it. Lots of positive support. Moderation was my goal but they also support abstinence. Some programs are filled with rooms of sad people, where if you mess up, you’re a failure and start over. This is not that. I had online group sessions, a 1:1 coach, nurse, and MD. The staff are very nice. They also helped me find trauma therapy immediately. I’m now completing both. Medication can be extended long term or as needed or none. I plan to keep some around as-needed. Naltrexone really helped me but ya gotta want to do it and commit. The 2x daily breathalyzer graph has been motivating for me. Start it now before you make a regrettable mistake like I did.

Good program for sustained goal achievement
I appreciate the focused guidance on addressing the issues surrounding my substance abuse. Having the prescribed medication was great to create the initial breakthrough and allow a change in lifestyle over time. Michael was helpful in assisting me in changing goals for myself and helping me develop tools and strategies to combat falling back into old habits and behaviors.

Pause Button vs Easy Button
It has been important to me to hit the Pause Button and take some time to work on myself. The Pause Button is different from the Easy Button. Making a change in my life isn't easy, but it's okay to pause, take a deep breath and go to work on my mind, body, and spirit.
I give Ria a lot of credit for helping make that possible. Coach Bobby has been a vital resource, terrific coach, and life guide. His gift is appreciated.

So many phone calls
They will harass you about setting up appointments. They will want you to schedule appointments frequently. If you schedule your appointments 1 month apart you will receive tons of phone calls and messages.
The coaching sessions are weird. You are better off with an actual therapist.

Ria is the best choice I made after…
Ria is the best choice I made after deciding to get help with my alcohol consumption. They give you sessions where you can learn, workbooks to utilize, group sessions, health check-ins, and coaching. Changing would have been hard by myself but the education, knowledge, tips, and support that Ria gave me was all that I needed.
RIA worked for me!
I’ve been in the RIA program for almost 7 months now and have remained sober the entire time. I truly can’t say enough positive things about the program, especially my coach, Michelle S. She has been such a blessing throughout this journey.
Every time we meet, I feel genuinely cared for, heard, and supported. Michelle truly listens, takes an interest in what I have to say, and always encourages and cheers me on. Because of her guidance and support, I’ve learned so much about my relationship with drinking and about myself as a person.
I’m incredibly grateful to have had Michelle by my side during this journey, and I highly recommend both her and the RIA program to anyone looking for support and lasting change with their relationship with alcohol.
Such a great program
Such a great program. Cannot say enough about how helpful this was and the support I received from my coach, Sean. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with Daniel Marsden as my coach. He supported me throughout my journey and was incredibly kind.
Customer services was always great, and my medical appointments were great as well.
Overall, I would recommend this program.
This program changed my life
This program changed my life. I was one that was not addicted to alcohol but tended to overdue it causing endless anxiety and panic attacks in the days that followed. Sean and I hit it off from the beginning. He spoke about his issues versus mine. Medication was available and I always had it on hand but actually never started or needed it. The doctors nor Sean never pushed me to take anything unless I felt it was needed.
The doctors and Sean have been amazing and it made me realize that alcohol was the root of my anxiety. I encourage anyone that is struggling to at least speak to the program and see how it can change your life with just having support and someone to hold you accountable weekly.
Good luck and thank you!
Takes time but works
This program got my alcohol use disorder totally controlled. If you follow the method and give yourself months to years.....you should succeed.
Started as a smoker and drinker
Started as a smoker and drinker, ended free and clear from both. RIA offered me the support on rehab level with the comfort of home. My coach was amazing. Offering tips of success and accountability during every session. The nurse care was also great. Any uncomfortable symptoms were addressed. All in all, grateful for the opportunity to have met this team. Glad I joined

Awesomely supportive network!
Ability to set up my schedule to meet my own needs as I see fit.
They take the time to listen
They take the time to listen, care and understand on an individual basis.
Please do not trust Ria health
Please do not trust Ria health. They will “qualify” you through your insurance telling you that no matter what you will not have to pay more than $300/month. Then a couple months go by without receiving a bill, and this is the kicker which they do on purpose so that they can continue to overcharge you for services, then two days before your first bill is due they will hit you with a $864 bill. At which point you cannot contact customer service directly. You have to call and leave a voicemail and wait 2 business days for someone to contact you. Then once they get you on the phone they will inform you that you signed up for this service and will unknowingly be charged this amount every month but will only have to pay $300/month until the entire balance is paid off. I tried to fight it and decided to pay the balance off because I didn’t want my credit to be affected since I am trying to purchase my first home and they are STILL charging my credit card $300/month. DO NOT TRUST RIA HEALTH

I was really hopeful this would help... disappointed.
I was really hopeful.
I went through the intake with Anisa? No follow up via phone or email.
So I came here to read the reviews.
If you are looking for help, look elsewhere.
Untrustworthy and Not Transparent
Ria Health took my insurance information down and told me they accepted my insurance and it would be a $35 copay per session. The sessions were very quick and impersonal, I stopped making appointments as they were not helpful. Two months later I’ve been slapped with a $1200 bill with no insurance applied to it. DO NOT trust them. It’s worth it though go the long route and see a trustworthy, transparent doctor instead.
