While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Ridstar Electric Bike: Faulty Product, Bad Service, Huge Disappointment!

In December, I purchased a Ridstar MN26 1500W electric bike. After receiving it, I assembled and started using it. The website stated that the bike could travel 70-95 miles on a full charge, but it only lasted 15 miles before the battery completely drained. I charged it overnight and tried again the next day, but this time it only lasted 13 miles.

I contacted the company, and they asked for proof. I sent them videos, and they admitted that the battery was faulty. They said they would send a replacement battery, but it arrived after 21 days and was the wrong one. I requested a return, but they delayed the process and refused my request. Eventually, they sent the correct battery, but the issue remained. Despite proving the ongoing problem, they neither accepted a return nor offered a replacement.

I have all the evidence and have filed a complaint with consumer rights authorities. This company is not trustworthy—do not buy anything from them!
