Not a fan. I was looking for an no-braid option for my “way past the shoulder” wavy, fairly thick hair, but these aren’t working for me. Have tried wet hair, dry hair. Have used product, and without product. Different tensions on the tie. Still, they want to coil up (if that makes sense), the result is a wonky tail that doesn’t hang straight.
I have been wanting to try the Riptie hair ties for a couple of years now and finally made the purchase of a 3-pack. I was super excited but I was sent the wrong items (I ordered extra hold for my super thick hair and received regular). I reached out twice via email -- no response. I left comments and sent a DM to their instagram -- no response. You better hope they get your order right and you don't have any other issues because their customer service is non-existent and I have now paid for a product I can't use.
I love, love, love my Rip Tie hair ties! I live a crazy active lifestyle living on a farm, and these keep my hair tangle-free, and tucked out of the way from anything that could grab it! SO lucky to have found them.
