Great stuff, 0 service

They don't reply, you can only email them.
They send me an order of wool
Ordered several colors and got an incomplete order.

New Postage System Sucks

Products are great and good value, but they promise free delivery over £69 but have changed their delivery system so that there is a 2 kg weight limit. This makes it virtually impossible to get the free delivery as you have to divide your order into four or five separate orders to abide by the weight restriction and have to pay £5.75 per order even though you are spending £160 + which is a complete con.

Great as always

Ordered from them for a while now and communication is always great. If you back order an item they give option to get rest of order posted or wait till back in stock. Always happy with my orders. Will definitely keep using them.

I tried to cancel my order the same day

I ordered wool from Rito and emailed them, after trying to phone several different times - the uk phone number came up as invalid, to cancel the order as I'd ordered too thin a wool. I emailed twice on the same day but it's now, several days later, been shipped.

It's a lot of money for me being a pensioner so I'm really disappointed.

Avoid

Avoid. There are better companies out there. No communication at all. The phone line isn’t working. The delivery times are made up. Placed my order 5 working days ago and it hasn’t even been dispatched an no one is replying to my emails.

Not a great website

Not a great website. I placed an order then straight away realised I wanted to change something. Have been unable to contact them despite writing to them directly, emailing through website, facebook etc. They advertise a UK phone number which doesn't work. Not what I was expecting. only way to cancel order is to claim through Paypal

Very disappointing experience. The company is not helpful and shows little concern for their customers. I felt ignored and unsupported throughout the process. I do not recommend buying from them.

Avoid the free shipping offer!

Products are good so I purchased what I needed which qualified me for the option of free shipping which is with UPS. Big mistake! You can’t change the delivery date or amend instructions for where to leave package without paying a fee to UPS to join UPS Choice or a fee for making the change. Plus the delivery dates from UPS are unreliable. The UPS app can’t be downloaded without having the latest OS system on your phone. RitoHobby’s choice of shipper has left me wishing I’d shopped elsewhere!

Update: definitely avoid Rito’s free shipping offer with UPS! Collected package yesterday (17/9) after the date changed 3 times. Package was damaged (slashed). Luckily contents ok and nothing missing! The wool is great though.

Knitting yarn from Rito Hobby

I found Rito Hobby a couple of years ago and like a lot of others, did not realise at first that they ship from Denmark, so my first order took a couple of weeks to arrive. However, just get your head around that and you can expect really good quality yarn at very reasonable prices. I have had to reach out them a couple of times for assistance and always found them to be quick to respond with helpful answers. I have recommended them to some of my knitting pals and so far not received any bad feedback. I would recommend them. Thanks Rito Hobby

I don’t recommend this website

I was really excited about this website, it looks like they have a large variety of sewing supplies. I bought with them on the 22nd of April and only received a notification saying the items were sent on the 30th of April. Today is the 8th of May and the goods haven’t yet arrived and helthjem tracker only says they received a notification about the parcel (it’s not even with them yet). This is way longer than the deadline of 2-5 days they promise on the website. This is really bad

I am sorry to hear that your package has not been delivered within the expected delivery time of 2-5 days.

While invastigating this case I found that one of the ordered items is a remote stock item. This means that the delivery time is longer than the usual 2-5 days, and this is also stated to you as a customer before the order is finalised. This said, your package should definitely have been delived by now. It seems that your package has been handed over from Helthjem to Postnord as Helthjem does not deliver packages at your address.

I can see that your package is suppossed to be delivered today on the 12th May. I have sent you a e-mail with the tracking link.

Since the delivery time has been longer than expected after your package was sent from our warehouse I will be taking this matter up with Helthjem.

Super company

Super company! Really helpful when I ran out of yarn on a project. Got in touch with me very quickly to say they still had a ball in the lot number I needed.
Fast postage considering it comes from Denmark I believe.
Highly recommended!
