My experience with RJ Automotive was a very great one. The technician was on time for our coding session and very accomodating. We ran into some connection issues but the technician walked me through the trouble shooting process very quickly. My GT63 wing now stays in the fixed position with no problems with the ESP or speed limiter. I would hoghly recommend RJ Automotive for the GT63 wing coding.

I bought my GLC43 C253 to RJA for a HUGE upgrade of adding AMG drive unit buttons on top of my heated steering wheel he made it possible to give my GLC a true AMG look he was able to retain the heat and he was also able to install magnetic paddle shifters for me he all around upgraded my car to perfection unlocking race mode several coding options and he went above and beyond upgraded my head unit to MBUXs latest unit plus a massive life changing upgrade of adaptive cruise control and multibeam which now gives me the matrix headlight dimming functioning at night all around he’s turned my glc43 from a boring stock car to a ultimate AMG luxury cruiser and I intend to come back for a driver assistance upgrade package with RJA.

Paid £600 for the Distronic Pro retrofit on my Mercedes EQC in March 2024.

It did activate adaptive cruise, but straight after the coding I lost the factory D Auto behaviour where the car used to increase regen/slow down for vehicles ahead. I reported it almost immediately. After multiple sessions, settings changes, a radar update and Mercedes updates, it was never fixed.

RJ Automotive kept saying it was a Mercedes/software issue and not related to the retrofit. However, when I finally had the retrofit removed and the car put back to factory, D Auto immediately started working properly again.

Two years later, when returning the car, I still had to pay another £60 + VAT just to remove the retrofit.

So in the end: £600 retrofit, lost a factory function I actually used, no fix, then charged again to undo it — and the factory function came back as soon as the retrofit was removed.

Would not use RJ Automotive again.

I’m a US Customer with a 2024 GLE580. I got my car tuned and wanted my display to update horsepower and they were able to code in my car to read the accurate horsepower and torque, give me the AMG screens, and was able to code my car to show AMG GLE. 10/10 experience

The entire experience of enabling ILS+ features on my 2022 Mercedes EQS sedan was easy. The required dongle arrived quickly, and the programming was quick (ca. 25 minutes). The guidance through the programming is clear and easy for a non-technical person to follow. Implementation of the full features of ILS+ substantially increases might vision while eliminating the potential for blinding oncoming drivers with high beams.

Instructions on installing DISTRONIC PRO components were easy to follow with clear pictures provided for key steps. All of the parts supplied for the retrofit were genuine MB in new condition packed well for transit overseas. Coding took about 20 minutes with constant communication through WhatsApp providing instruction to turn the ignition on/off at certain points. Future coding will definitely be through RJ Automotive. Money absolutely well spent.

If I had to sum up RJ Automotive in one word: brilliant.

These guys really know what they’re doing and made light work of everything I asked. They installed and calibrated adaptive cruise control and also sorted a fault on my Hermes control unit with no drama at all.

What stood out most was how reassuring and transparent they were throughout. They kept me informed at every step and were clearly more interested in doing the job properly rathe than chasing money, which is rare and refreshing in this trade.

I’ll 100% be using them again. Highly recommended.
