Initial Review. Mostly signed up for the credit card and cash back. Pleasantly surprised to see the bonus on the IRA so I will be moving that part of my finance there. Platform is incredibly slick. Credit there. Credit card limit was really small -- so it is minus a star ($2,000 limit is tiny compared to other cars).

To be fair I do understand why people new to the market may use Robin Hood but I'm a 30-year veteran and I found the basic trading platform to be completely inadequate but it's only in comparison to the robust platforms that I already use for myself and other people my primary platform is E-Trade which is the best I've ever worked with I also do a Charles Schwab which I don't like as much although it is fully featured so this brings me to the problem with Robin Hood the basic format for trading is so simplistic that if I want to actually get all of the features and the associated data from the way I normally trade I have to open multiple screens with Robin Hood this is very frustrating also the process of rolling an option is painful but if all I had was the Robin Hood window I guess I would learn to use it but it is so inadequate that I'm only running now one trade with options because they are safe and they are expiring so I don't have to count on trying to roll it with a system that simply does not work for that purpose period the other issue with the platform is I can't see all the data about the underlying on one screen if I want to get the cost basis I have to open another screen if I want to do anything else with the stock I have to open multiple screens because all of the data about the holding does not exist on one screen period I will not be using this forward of the period required to get the bonus when I signed up for $25,000 I've already tried to roll it over into my ETrade account but for some reason it was refused that was about 30 days ago and I have no idea what the problem was I was putting this account into an existing margin account which should be accepted but I don't know what the error code was at this point I'm going to go back and revisit it and move away from Robinhood as quickly as I possibly can I do have the Robin Hood Plus or whatever that $5 a month thing is to get a deal on the margin but I don't trust it as a trading platform because it is so limited you can look back on my account and notice I have not been taking advantage of the margin although there are many opportunities to do that I just not that interested in staying with Robinhood and as soon as I can get away from it I will good luck in the future and maybe if you build a more robust platform I would have no problem recommending it but whenever people ask in my audience of followers for you advice and tips I tell them that Robinhood is the worst platform I've ever tried it on only because it's true I'm not throwing stones it's just a horrible platform but that's only because it does not at all compare to our stand up to the robust nature of eTrade hope you find that helpful
I transferred my account to Robinhood last year on March 7, 2025 and missed the 2% transfer bonus by only a few days. I contacted support multiple times through phone, live chat, and email hoping they would make a reasonable exception. Every interaction felt scripted, and no one was willing to escalate the issue or consider the circumstances.
Robinhood talks about valuing customers, but my experience showed the opposite. Their customer service was inflexible, dismissive, and offered no meaningful assistance despite my good-faith effort to move my investments to their platform.
The app is good, but if you ever need customer support or any flexibility, don't expect much. Customer retention clearly isn't a priority.
Robinhood restricts your account, calls it a "final decision," and won't even tell you what you did wrong. No transparency at all.
Don't fall for the 3% bonus and move large assets there. Some things are cheap for a reason. I did, and now I have to sell all my assets and take a tax hit just to get out because they blocked my transfer with zero real explanation. Joke of a company.
Robinhood as an App is fantastic, I however should have learn market cycle knowledge before I deployed my capital 😂. I appreciate all that you do for the retail investors and I definitely appreciate the crypto bonus monthly! Thank you Vlad

It’s doing really well! No big changes needed!
On the Banking side, I’ve had direct deposit to my savings for a few months to take advantage of the higher interest rate as compared with checking. However because it’s not to checking, I lost the bonus APR. Please fix to allow for savings direct deposits to qualify. Thank you.

Robinhood has become disappointing. The platform promotes bonus offers, but the fine print often requires keeping money locked for several years to receive the full benefit. It also feels like the app pushes users toward frequent trading and risky stock activity instead of encouraging disciplined long term investing.
The fees, restrictions, and lockup conditions make the offers less attractive than they first appear. I would recommend reading all terms carefully before moving money or chasing any bonus

Unbelievable amount of nagging ads for a service I already use. For Christ’s sake, I GET IT, you want me to transfer balances in and it’s LIKE SUPER SERIOUSLY LIKE MY LAST AND FINAL CHANCE to get a bonus!!1! Until next month, that is.
The ads seriously cheapen the experience.
I spoke to someone about getting me information about bonus limit ( Evan) and they never got back to me…I reached out 3 times with no answer.

You need to have money market options for retirement accounts/IRAs. You also did not reward me with a bonus for a large transfer because the "date window" had closed. I think it is an unprofessional thing to do. I will likely take my business elsewhere.

I’m over 65 years old and I have dealt with broker firms my whole life I used to be a broker. I find that Robinhood is very responsive, has so many innovative products. Love my 3% back credit card, loved the big bonus for transferring my IRA’s.

Issues with sending bitcoin with all of a sudden my face couldn’t be recognized. Crypto bonus program was not what I thought it was.
The Robinhood app is very easy to use and I enjoy the crypto exposure. I enjoy the live streams and information about where Robin Hood is going, and the holiday gifts are a great bonus!

I transferred my brokerage account to this insolvent excuse of a company after being lured in by a so-called promotion offering a 1% bonus on transferred assets. Yes, they gave me the bonus—but the moment I tried to actually use the platform, the nightmare began.
I discovered I couldn’t even trade municipal bonds on their site. And as soon as I attempted to move my money out, they took back the entire bonus and even more on top of it. When I initiated an ACH transfer to withdraw my own cash—something every legitimate bank does for free—Robinhood had the audacity to charge me $100.
In total, the few transactions I made on Robinhood ended up costing me $1,036 for absolutely nothing of value. When I asked why they reversed the bonus, they claimed I was required to keep my account open for five years—a detail conveniently buried or never stated clearly upfront.
It has now been months of trying to retrieve my own money, and I still have no success. This company operates like a trap: they steal from regular people and serve the wealthy.
Avoid this brokerage at all costs. They are deceptive, predatory, and in my opinion, fraudulent.
Scammers. For 2 last referral, they didn't give me my bonus. The answers from their team, are for 10 years old. Case ID 29261591
