The package I had paid for in advance was never dispatched, and when I called their customer care helpline all I kept hearing was "We are working on it" giving all sorts of excuses, trying to buy additional time. I am certain that no concrete action was ever taken to address the issue, no support ticket was created or opened. This was my first order at Robu, and very likely the last one.

I have been a customer of robu.in since 2017 or so when they used to sell on amazon as well (I don't know/care if they still do) and they are still my primary source of DIY, hobbyist, maker stuff. They have great prices, extensive and ever updating collection, low delivery charges (like it's free on 500+ INR, can't ignore this given other hobbyist stores have this over 1000 or more). And fortunately even the few times (like 3-4 maybe out of 50+ orders) something went wrong, the replacement/refund process was an okay (not the best though say 3.5/5) experience.
I have some concerns though, given that they have started to raise prices a lot and some other business moves that aren't so pro-consumer/pro-maker but investor pleasing since their IPO happened last year, It could be a coincidence given the on goings of global economy right now but I don't know for sure, what I do care is about the Indian maker community's most important source given the d2c chinese options being banned out of existence.

Great website, on time delivery great support staff too. Amazing for hobbyists and anyone from beginner to professional. Have done some massive orders from here and have delivered every part. Once they missed out 1m of wire in my order and within 2 hrs I was offered a refund.

I recently purchased a car chassis for a small project from Rob.in. Due to my busy schedule, I could only open the package delivered by Blue Dart after four days. The package was in perfect external condition with no visible damage.

However, when I opened it, I discovered that the chassis body was broken—clearly a damage that occurred during packing at Rob.in. I immediately contacted their customer care team, but unfortunately, they informed me that nothing could be done.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Rob.in for a long time, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed. I’ve now decided not to purchase anything from them in the future.

I ordered an audio analyzer module consisting of MSGEQ7 chip from this site. It turned out to be a shoddily manufactured item even at first glance. Nevertheless I assembled it in my project hoping that it would work. But it didn't function. Not only was the module wrongly put together, but even the chip was dud. Just to be sure, I procured and assembled a similar module from another site, which worked perfectly. Despite repeatedly sending photos and video of the defective part as required by their technical team, they simply closed the complaint stating that no video/photo received. Never again will I purchase any items from this company which cheats its customers.

The quality of products are good. The shipping is a little slow but that is what they promise anyway.

We ordered P1S Combo printer. A defective printer was sent and when we asked for a replacement (we did not unpack the item, the broken piece was visible during item inspection) and my team took photos, I created a ticket only to be heard back saying that its only mildly broken and that we should be ok with it.
I refused to accept a broken item, for which we paid brand new price.
They have not yet replaced the item nor have responded back to our replacement requests.
Worst place to buy products and WOULD NOT recommend to anyone.

I've been ordering from their website for past 2-3 years and purchased items over 25k , yep they're trustable and their email supports also reply quickly (except 1 time in my experience)

In UPS HAT(Geekworm X1202 4-Cell 18650 5.1V 5A UPS HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 Series)'s user manual, it is clearly mentioned that, don't use battery after 2 years, But Batteries i received are manufactured on August 2023. I can only use it for 3-4 months.

I am working on an educational product robot for my college, and I planned to purchase more if this plan project goes well.

And I am using Raspberry pi 5 along with SSD NVMe, so I need to ensure they are safe.

So, take back these batteries and send me new batteries.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience purchasing a Raspberry Pi 5 from Robu. The product arrived defective, and despite it being under warranty, Robu’s customer service has been unresponsive and unwilling to address the issue. Additionally, the product was mishandled during shipping, with visible damage that was not present when it was originally shipped.

Even after contacting them, they refused to take responsibility, leaving me with a broken product and no viable resolution. The lack of professionalism and accountability is concerning, and it’s clear that Robu does not prioritize customer satisfaction. Given my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from Robu and look elsewhere for reliable service and support.

I placed order on Saturday night, today is Tuesday, still item not dispatched. After calling them, they said we will dispatch today. So I must think twice placing order with robu.in next time. They have a paid delivery, they are trying to make people choose that, do it is the reason they are delaying the free delivery.

it is a genuine site the prices are not the lowest but are reasonable i see many people calling it a scam on trustpilot I believe that they are paid by some other ecommerce electronics company to defame robu shipping is quick same day or just within 24hrs and customer service is also good just the downside being that you have to wait in a queue to get to it i have ordered multiple times from them and never had a bad experience and once even got a full refund for a faulty product just like amazon just withing 2 days the biggest bad thing about them is the slow site that too they have improved a little bit now

I ordered few parts from this website, before the ipo customer care was ok, but now its way worst, they intentionally shipped a order with missing parts.
when i contacted customer care they told me that order is "fulfilled correctly", i plan on filling a grievance report against this company.
i recommend using a different website for your projects, unless you like wasting time and money on this company.

I wish I had seen the horrible experiences people had before me on Trustpilot for Robu.in, I sadly made the mistake of buying from them. They have the worst customer care ever on this planet. They don't respond to emails for weeks and then don't entertain you for requests. In 2025 you can't have clients hanging by and waiting for you to respond for so much time. I gave 2 stars only because I got what I ordered. The whole experience was far from satisfying. I ordered other components from other websites which all got here faster and with better transparency and faster responses like Live Chat etc.

Robu has always delivered what I ordered.
Their inventory is well managed and they have good collection of electronics related items.
I am not sure why so many people are giving 1 star to Robu, I worked in an IIT Delhi startup and we got lot of components from Robu.

I think Robu.in has degenerated into one of the worst online shopping companies out there. Items showing in stock and ordered and they turn out to be not in stock. No updates are given. No responses to email. Phone calls go to idiots who are merely trained parrots and have no idea what to do. Once upon a time Robu.in was reliable. Now it is just a scam. Just like ElectronicsComp.com

Good price and fast delivery.
But! If anything is damaged or missing, good luck because their customer support is very bad. Have had multiple instances. It's good as long as the missing components are small or cheap. This time, almost everything inside a kit was missing and still nothing. So many calls and emails made. Nothing.

Their 3D Printing services used to be reliable but I have had a horrible experience. Recieved broken and deformed parts. My Order ID is 2601386 and was placed on 9th March. I filed a ticket (ID:403223) as soon as I received the parts. It took them a week to just respond and acknowledge that there was a human fault. They said they would send me a tracking link upon asking them to verify the list of parts they are going to send they said to wait and they would contact me. It has now been another week, every time I call I am just given empty apologies and promises to fix the problem. As of writing this review on the 27th of March I have still not been provided a refund or replacement of the multiple deformed and broken parts.

The print quality is extremely unreliable, they do not honor the print setting you filll out in the form. So use these services at your own risk. They will not admit any fault. I had another order where I had printed an iteration of a part where the quality was clearly different. I sent them photos of both the old part and new part showing them that the wall thickness and infill percentage is different from what was requested. Both prints were sent to be printed at exactly the details.

Bought 5 TFT LCDs out of which 3 were damaged. When I raised the matter they said warranty is for 2 days only and they can not entertain my complaint because I took about 4-5 days to raise the issue. I am a regular customer and my experience is that products are damaged very often.

Worst service, and very Bad experience.

They are not mentioning that if 12 pin is not in stock we will send you 4pin X 3 pcs. They even didn't inform me that will it be ok if we send you 4pin X 3pcs. Seems very uneducated person are working over there.
They are also selling "4 Pin 5.08mm Pitch Pluggable Screw Terminal Block (Pack of 3)" in a separate listing. if they are not having 12pin single terminal block then why they are misleading customer. One Should stay away from this website. If you have faced an issue dont forget to leave them a feedback on other feedback forum. other wise they will keep cheating the customer.
