Holiday insurance great price and questions easy and straightforward
Due to go on holiday next Wednesday (today is Thursday). Last Thursday we wanted to report a change to my husband’s health record. Duly spoke to an agent who said he would pass it up to the underwriters who would contact us in 48-72 hours. No contact from anyone so called again yesterday (same agent) but he still had no response from the underwriters. We have chased again today but nothing. The stress involved when we are due to be travelling in 6 days is immense. Not the service I was expecting.

Let's be clear on this, I am doing a review on the purchase of a product from Rock insurance. Which was easy enough online. Simple as that. Now I have no idea what they are like if you claim and hopefully I don't want to that at all. But that would be the important bit for me. So a review is a bit premature Rock insurance.
Good app and easily obtained the quote I needed.
It was safe secure transaction and I bought policy I think second or third time. Very reasonable price.
Easy to set up, hopefully don’t have to make a claim. Will review again if I do.

All the positive reviews mention how easy it was to take out insurance online or navigate their website. Have you all seen a company failing or struggling to collect money from you? That's the easy part. I wish the reviews were more relevant so that people can actually make an informed decision.
I had a terrible first contact. As a UK citizen purchasing a UK insurance, I was not expecting to be sent to a Spanish call centre as was clear from the call handler's accent and the background voices all speaking Spanish. While I have nothing against Spanish speaking people, I am paying £300+ for a premium policy and a professional service which was not what I got. It felt like I was speaking to a teenage language student struggling to spell in English, mixing up the vowels. To spell out my name, surname, phone number and email address took 15 mins which used up all of my international minutes and when he said he'll read the policy wording at the end, unfortunately, that's when I lost my patience as if I haven't read it myself. It wasn't just that but the fact that every time he asked for information he'd continue speaking and interrupting me, not leaving any space for me to answer. I was supposed to be contacted by a doctor for a telephone appointment in less than 2 hours, but no one called. If this isn't resolved and handled more professionally within the next 24 hrs, I'll be cancelling my insurance and asking for my money back.
