No customer service what-so-ever!

I've had the same issue as many others who have recently posted on this forum. I purchased a pair of sandals on the website. The website said the sandals were made of leather. I was willing to pay more for a pair of real leather sandals. However, when I received the sandals, they were all man-made materials. I followed the instructions on the website to return the sandals, and like many others here, I received a response that the item was not eligible to return. I sent an e-mail to customer service, and like the experience of many others who have posted here, I received no response. No one at Rockport answers the 1-800 customer care number. My 30-day window for returns is almost up. If you come across this forum, please heed everyone else's experience here and do not order from Rockport.com

Zero Customer Service

Terrible customer service - never responded to request to return shoes that did not fit. It bought multiple pairs of shoes in different sizes thinking I would pay the $5 return fee for those that didn't fit. NOPE - the return system said my order did not qualify....It was not at all clear to me when purchased. A human never responded to my emails and I couldn't find a number to call. Lesson learned -- Never purchase from this company again.

One new pair I experienced issues…

One new pair I experienced issues with-barely worn and a year later entire sole came off the shoe, but because of previous experience with quality wanted to give a second chance. However regardless, I will never order directly from Rockport again because of the customer service-or lack of.

Placed an order and either my or their system error-wrong email on file. I never received any email regarding order status. The Tuesday I called customer service , they weren’t taking any calls and I was directed to the contact us page online. I submitted this and got a generic response on possible answers to questions not relevant to what I was asking about-responded 4 days letter to their response letter and heard nothing-their phone message from my original call stated not to reach out duplicate my so I listened like a fool.

My order finally arrived luckily 10 days after ordered.

Again-terrible customer service. Quality of product yet to be determined.

Non existent customer service

When I tried to cancel an order within 30 seconds of ordering, customer service responded with, “You wish to exchange your order?” I replied “No, I’d like to cancel”. They ignored this request, still sent the item, charged a shipping and handling fee so I’m left paying fifteen dollars to return shoes I didn’t want in the first place. The customer service phone number says it is no longer in service and they may only be contacted via email. I will never order from this company again. A total scam for this price of a shoe.

Purchased a pair of shoes & sent wrong size

Purchased a pair of shoes and they sent the wrong size. Followed the directions for returns/exchanges and found the shoes were not eligible for a return. Tried calling multiple times - no one ever answers. Tried emailing- only get candid responses. Tried contacting through social media - and again only got candid responses “someone from our team will contact you …follow the online return instructions.” 19 days later still nothing helpful.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
Now stuck with a size 9 shoe when I ordered an 11 1/2.

Ordered 5 pair

Ordered 5 pair, on line, they’re apparently not an actual store available. 3 pairs do not for. Go to return, all my orders say ineligible for return. Call the customer service number to be to,d that they do not have an active customer service number, to send email. I sent an email, a week later, nothing. I have $400 worth of shoes that don’t fit and I can’t return!! I used to wear Rockport shoes..not anymore

HORRIBLE- I'll never order from…

HORRIBLE- I'll never order from Rockport again. The order I placed never arrived, Rockport will not respond, you can't get a live person any longer on the phone either- The business is unsupported. What a disappointment from a company I have bought shoes from for my family for decades. My order 18 months ago had product quality issues- this current experience is unacceptable.

Don't buy from this company

Don't buy from this company unless you know you won't have to make a return. I tried the return form and got a message stating my item didn't qualify for a return. I emailed through the proper channel asking for an explanation, that was over a month ago. I tried to call the customer service # and for a week straight the message said the team was in a meeting. I've since sent 2 more emails, still no response. I am now past the 30 day return window. Terrible customer service, if I could give them negative stars I would.

Terrible customer service

Great shoes, terrible customer service at the company website. I paid $25 for next day shipping. Hasn't shipped more than 24 hours after confirmation email.
Customer service phone line doesn't answer except for a message to call back during business hours even though my repeated calls were between 10-3 central time on a Friday.
Don't buy from the official website, it's unsupported.

Bought a pair of sandals on website

Bought a pair of sandals on website. The site will not let me use the review your order page. It defaults to the refer your friends page. I wrote to the consumer service page at Rockport.com to see how to get it fixed and they blocked me. What the hell is that about! Never again baby. Never again.

I all fairness, the issue appears to have been corrected two days later. But it’s very disconcerting to see a company like Rockport with so many negative reviews.

OMG! THIS IS AS BAD AS IT GETS, ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS, SUCH A POORLY RUN COMPANY. BRUCE KATZ WOULD "ROLL IN HIS GRAVE" IF HE KNEW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY. UNDER THE NEW CEO, GREGG RIBATT (REMEMBER THIS NAME) THE COMPANY HAS WENT DOWN HILL IN A BIG WAY. THE CURRENT OWNERS OF ROCKPORT, CHARLESBANK, ARE EQUALLY AS BAD, CUSTOMERS, AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT (OR LACK THEROF) MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THESE COMPANIES. THERE IS NO "LIVE" PHONE SUPPORT WHATSOEVER, EMAIL ONLY... FOR WHICH YOU WILL GET A "GENERATED" REPLY. I HAVE TRIED "DILIGENTLY" TO REACH THIS COMPANY, ANYBODY AT ALL, FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS... NOTHING! I HAVE AN EXPENSIVE PAIR OF ROCKPORT PERTHS, THE SOLES HAVE COMPLETELY SEPERATED AFTER A HALF DOZEN USES, THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE PHONE CALL, AN EXPLANATION, AND A REPLACEMENT... IF THEY SEPERATE AGAIN, WE'RE DONE, NEVER AGAIN. So very disappointed.

So very disappointed.
I bought a pair of shoes in 2008 in America, they were superb quality and extremely comfortable. They lasted with constant wear until 2022.
In 2022 I bought another pair, what a disappointment, they were cheap quality, the upper distorted and whilst listed as waterproof were not. The soles have already, after 9 months worn out.
My experience has soured me from the brand which I see has been sold. My shoes were made in China which probably explains the change in quality.

Awful customer service - never again!

I ordered one pair of shoes from Rockport.com. I paid for one pair of shoes. They sent me four pairs of the same shoe. They cannot be reached by phone and provide no provision for sending them back or crediting the shipping of three extra shoes. Pathetic customer service!!!

Waterproof boots are NOT WATERPROOF

Bought a pair of expensive Rockport waterproof boots - wore them in the rain...one boot was waterproof...the other boot was NOT waterproof. Tried to call Rockport UK on the number THEY provide on THEIR website (01323 311233) and...you guessed it...it doesn't work! PITIFUL...you have been warned!

Good price and handles the abuse I give them

I walk a solid 3 miles a day in city and woods, I am extremely heavy footed and I put more pressure on one side with how I walk. All I buy is rockport now because no other shoe can take the abuse I give them. I basically got used to the idea that I had to get a new pair about every single month between the bottom wearing down or side and/or front detaching from the sole. I honestly had to stick to cheap shoes because I can't afford decent ones every month and the "expensive" shoes lasted as long as the cheap ones. Now I get a nice pair of Rockport about twice a year saving me money and looking better than when I wore the prior ones. I can't wait for my new pair coming today btw

Just FYI to all

Just FYI to all: If you order online and had to return. They don’t provide you a free return box or make accommodations like Amazon to return it for free at UPS or Kohls. In addition, “$5.00 will be deducted from your total refund” as a RETURN REQUEST FEE☹️. What a rip-off!!! Never again!!!

I remember in 2001 I had a pair of…

I remember in 2001 I had a pair of Rockport walking shoes. Wonderful shoes of very high quality which lasted years. So in 2019, assuming the quality would be the same, I bought another pair. Sad to say the quality of Rockport has gone down the toilet, which to be frank, is where those shoes belonged.
The poor quality, while not apparent from the photographs, was immediately obvious on opening the box. They only lasted six months
What a shame…

Shoes came with a *free gift* which ultimately was all that they shipped.

Beware of this company (Rockport Canada). They are scammers. I don't know the extent to which they are scammers. It seems possible that if they have ample stock they will ship the shoes without problem, but in my case, with clearance shoes for which the size I chose was the last size shown to be available, what they did was wait a week to ship and all they shipped was the *free gift* . I'll skip the details in between, i.e. lots of suspicion on my part early on and pestering them with emails... which i think let them know I was laying a clear paper trail with photographic evidence and therefore it wasn't worth trying to "run out the clock " on the 30 day credit card dispute system, so they could keep the money. So they finally did refund the full amount.
