Is anyone get the details of this company insurance. I have problems in my property I bought 7 years before. I think we have to jointly move court against government because it’s government backed schemes and cheated land lords.

Does anyone know who their insurance…

Does anyone know who their insurance underwriters were?.
I have 2 properties with their closed urethane foam installed in 2006 & 2007. They issued a 30 year guarantee for each and their brochure clearly states they have Insurance Backed Guarantee but with who? I know they are now in liquidation
I realised now we never had any insurance document or details of who provided it.
We have just taken down 2 chimneys and all the wood in the roof of both houses is completely rotten. Although previously backed by the government I can now see this is not the case and a major expensive problem for us all.

Has anyone tried claiming off their own insurance?

Roofsure I do not think so…

This is a review to let everyone know not to bother with this insulation if you ever want to sell your house. They are not answering emails but still promoting their product . I have written to my MP as this is not fair to all of us who bought this in good faith to insulate our properties to reduce energy bills and to help the environment .I have asked him to take to parliament to stop all companies selling this and too look for compensation for this of us who now have the expense of removing this insulation. I am also writing again to roof sure under the Consumer Rights we have 6 years to request a refund for goods not fit for purpose or to compensate us for removal
.if this fails I will take them to court .
If anyone wants to go the same it will only help to get the refunds we are due to

Avoid at all costs…..

Do not go anywhere near these lot or anyone installing spray foam insulation. The previous owner of our property instructed this company to install the spray foam, no care taken at all with the installation of the foam and they got it all over our timbers. Because of this we have condensation leaking through our ceilings causing mould to grow as well as rotting the timbers. When contacting them their response was ‘our product does not cause condensation’ which is a load of rubbish and refused to do anything to correct their work. Avoid at all costs because this will set you back thousands to fix.

I would like to compliment your company, I am extremely pleased with the insulation work in our loft area which feels much warmer already. The fitters were on time and explained everything, I would have no hesitation of recommending your company.

I concur with the review by Peter…

I concur with the review by Peter Bayliss. Although some types of expanding foam roof insulation are very good, it is now impossible to get a mortgage on a property that has any type, good or bad. My father died recently and my mother is trying to sell the house so she can move to a retirement apartment, but she cannot sell the house until the foam insulation has been removed, even though it has been very good. It will now cost her several thousand pounds for it to be removed, and delay her move considerably.

Do not use if you plan on selling your property in the future.
I had closed cell foam applied to the underside of a slate roof. Since trying to sell my property I have discovered that buyers needing a mortgage to purchase the property are being turned down by the lenders because of the foam. I have had to have the roof completely stripped and renewed at a considerable cost in order to sell my property.
