Accessing the website was a nightmare. You can't get an app on your phone and the one on the pad is awful. There is no explanation of how to use the wallet or what the information means that is contained in it. The only way to access the data us by revisiting the email and clicking the link. Bit backwards regarding the technology side of things

I've had a rowan smart meter since 2021. Don't get me wrong here, there were a few issues with the original device but these have been resolved with a 2023 upgrade. Payments are normally prompt (you request via the app), usually within a few working days, albeit minus transaction fees. That said I have recovered my upfront costs in 24 months so all rewards are now pure profit. Would recommend to anyone with officially registered Solar panels.

We get a good income from Rowan on account of our pv solar panels and superb communication with the company

When I had my Solar PV installed, I also had a Rowan Smart Miner added too. It paid for itself within the first two years and now I get quite a decent amount of cash paid into my Paypal account every month (£50 p/m in Summer, £8-10 in winter). It's been pretty much faultless since that first day and if you have Solar, you need Rowan too.

The smart miner system and app works really well and once I worked out how to make a claim it paid out immediately. So we get two lots of credits for our solar panel output … credit from our supplier for electricity going back to the grid and from Rowan energy for the carbon offset credit.
Only criticism/ room for improvements is the response time on emails for help setting up. But we managed it ourselves in the end.

Had this smart miner installed a few months ago by Rowen Energy and have not looked back as have made a regular income since installation. It’s just makes a bit extra to help offset the cost of recouping the investment in solar panels would recommend it to anyone who has solar panels,

Great idea selling the carbon offset now FIT has finished you can still make money from the electricity produced.

All in all a good experience. A few teething issues which now seem to be resolved. It`s a great way to maximise the return on your solar investment plus you are doing your bit for the environment.

Signed up to Rowan Energy mid 2023. Quick and easy. Although, due to the weather, my Solar system has not done as well as predicted/hoped.
So I allowed my return to grow. Today I cashed in some of my rewards. The money, as promised, was in my account straight away. Happy days! Thank you R. E.

Simple installation, easy to use and it earns money for me by off setting carbon.

A simple idea that works to maximise solar investment by generating more income per kWh generated than any other resource I’ve seen! A fantastic way to shorten the ROI period on a solar installation. The only thing robbing the system of the 5th star is that the Admin Fee for making a withdrawal is a percentage of the amount withdrawn, and not a fixed cost. Surely the admin cost is the same regardless of if I withdraw £15 or £150, yet the fee would be 10x larger! The only disappointment in an otherwise excellent system.

The rowan rewards smartminer is a great system for getting paid for being greener, has quickly paid for itself and sits in the garage quietly making money. It is straightforward to withdraw your funds when required it's a no brained if you have solar panels.

Rowan rewards is a great company doing something really positive. It has lowered the payback time on my solar panels by several years and is a great source of additional income.

Never had an issue with Rowan Energy. I've always received a timely replies when I do ask/have a query about something. Had my smart miner in need of a firmware update, this was done and scheduled at the time promised.

Rowan Energy is a great way of earning extra money and shortening the payback time on your solar panels. The installation cost of the Rowan Miner has paid for itself already. The money we're now earning is helping to offset energy cost increases. We're so glad we installed solar and linked up with Rowan Energy!

We have a Rowan Rewards meter installed at the same time as our Solar Panels, it has been a good tool for seeing how much power is produced by the panels and on top of that it has earned us some cash back.
I would recommend this company.
