Karl fitted the new tyre very quickly and knew exactly what to do. Fast and efficient service. Second time I have used this service. Easy to order and good communication throughout. Will definitely use again.

Ricky from Rubber Lou's came out to me today after getting a massive nail in my tyre and not being able to get it to a garage myself. He called when he was on the way, arrived when he said he would, was super friendly and only took 10 mins to fit a new tyre. Thank you so much for a really great service and for getting me back on the road. Would recommend!

Recently used Rubber Lou’s after hitting a pothole and needing a new tyre. Carl was very helpful and professional, some delays due to bespoke Mercedes wheels, which he did not want to damage. The fitting was efficient and I would recommend this company, I will be using them again for sure 👌🏻

Replaced my popped tyre within an hour, on the M4. Not cheap but worth the money! Please check the profiles of those leaving 1* reviews here...they do not seem legit profiles and people that have actually used this companies services, rate them very highly!

Appalling driving today on Thamesdown drive (Swindon).
Driver was seen exceeding the speed limit and tailgaiting in the outside lane. He then indicated to move into my lane while I was alongside him, so I beeped simply to make him aware that I was there - then he went nuts, twice trying to hit me with his van. To do that in a branded company van is just plain stupid. I know where I *won't* be taking my business!

Great service. Called Saturday afternoon price given confirmed ok. A little slow to respond back but once done. They rocked up on Monday. All done 1 new tyre fitted 15mins

Nearly got taken out by the driver in the van RU23 LOU today after he took the right lane to go straight over at a roundabout, and then tried to cut me up at the exit. This driver clearly doesn’t have any concept of the Highway Code.
He then aggressively sounded the horn, swore and went on to tailgate me for the next five miles or so. I had my six month old and two year old children in the car.
From seeing other reviews, it sounds like the guy just drives everywhere like an absolute di*k.

*Edited to add - While I appreciate the apology; I would actually argue that while your employees are driving in your heavily branded vehicles, they actually do directly reflect on your company.
I understand that bad reviews can be damaging, but your reputation will always be about more than just the quality of the service you provide. If the people who represent you are behaving in a way that is aggressive and rude, that reflects badly on you. Even if they then go on to do an excellent job.

And I actually did try to call to discuss this earlier, but when I got your answerphone I realised that I could quite easily be about to speak to the man who had just cut me off, and I could be about to get another earful.
My opinion of your company was already formed based on that negative interaction and I decided it wasn’t worth the risk. Hence the review.

**Edited to add - Not a “road rage disagreement”. Your employee cut me off, swore, held his hand down on the horn and then sat on my back bumper from Beckhampton to Calne. Ignoring the fact I had my two INFANT children in the car.
If you still think it was a ‘disagreement’ feel free to take a look at the Google map aerial image of Beckhampton and the Highway Code’s instructions on how to correctly navigate a roundabout. Perhaps that will clear things up for you all.

Fantastic professional service, highly recommend

This is the second time I've used Rubber Lou.

Both times have been the same. Somehow, somewhere, I'd driven over a screw and got a slow puncture. One time rear left, one rear right.

They've immediately agreed a time.

Neither occasion has been an emergency here, so I've suggested following day because it was more convenient to me.

They send a text with the information they need. (Name, address, vehicle reg, tyre details), and ask you to reply with the info. I felt it best to also send a clear photo of the tyre details, and they were happy with that.

They've given good advance estimates of likely cost based on whether the tyre would be able to be safely repaired or whether a replacement would be needed. Obviously they can't tell which will be the case until they see it.

At all times, I was confident that they were actively seeking to minimise my costs. The prices for a new tyre fitted in the driveway, were very competitive with those I found online for fitting at local tyre centres.

First time, the damage was to close to the sidewall and the tyre needed replacing. This second time was right in the middle of the tread and was repairable.

The person attending (same both times) was prompt, friendly, and was very quick for both types of fix. And the price was good in both cases.

Hopefully I don't need to use them again too soon, but if I do need a tyre replacement again, they will definitely be my first call.

Had Carl came out & change a tyre for me. Delivered a great service from start to finish, answered any questions I had. Easy to book online, great time options. Would highly recommend Rubber Lou Tyres & Carl!

Really helped me out - was travelling with my toddler when I got a puncture and managed to get it sorted in next to no time. Nice guy, great service. Highly recommend.

Absolutely superb service from Lou and Derek from Rubber Lou Tyres! ! I wouldn't even now consider having a breakdown cover with such a huge incorporations as AA and RAC etc etc because they simply don’t care and will leave you waiting for hours!

My front passenger tyre has blown into pieces due to a huge nail that somehow managed to damage the tyre in 3 places.

After calling around within local businesses asking for quotes, I come across to Rubber Lou! Their response time is fantastic, they send me the price and the ETA within less than 10 mins of reporting the breakdown. And to my complete astonishment the engineer arrived to where I managed to park securely within 30 mins! I honestly couldn’t believe this! It felt unreal to receive such an amazing, high standard, professional and cost effective service! Within 45 mins of me reporting the breakdown, I had a brand new tyre and carried on with my journey! Just how they can be so fantastic! Lou and his team are clearly passionate about the services they provide. Just to provide everybody with another comparison, we broken down 2-3 years ago, our cover was with RAC. We had our little boy at the back, and we have been waiting for just under 9 hours!

From that moment onwards we decided not to have any breakdown cover with anybody and we feel now that we have made a right choice. The breakdown will cost you up to £200 that will cover you per annum and no guarantee that you will use the service but still have to pay for their incompetence and greediness. Yet , you don’t have any breakdown cover and put these money aside for when it’s needed and when needed you spend it wisely by supporting your local businesses such as Rubber Lou Tyres! And most importantly don't sit and wait for hours!

Thank you again for a fantastic service! We shall absolutely be recommending your business around the Cotswolds and surrounding areas!

Excellent service!, After trying many other tyre services who would not help, I came across Rubber Lou. A Gent called Nobby came to my rescue, he made me feel at ease and safe in a busy highstreet he fixed my car in no time. I am very grateful and recommend 100%, I would definitely use again!.

I would not recommend this company due to their dangerous and inconsiderate driving which I have recently experiences and has been reported by many others on various FB groups eg. Swindon's Most Shocking Driving on Facebook.

Brilliant service - from the communication and process to book in, to the actual tyre change. We had a need for a full set of new tyres at short notice and had all changed and set to go again within 24 hours. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others. Thank you!
