Only deliver half your order and pizzas cold

Only half the order received via Deliveroo. Pizzas were also cold. Despite driver confirming he had only been given 2 pizzas ( instead of 4 plus sides and drinks also missing) Rudys just blamed Deliveroo and took no responsibility. Shocking customer service. Won't be ordering from them again!

Cold Food

Ordered from the Prestwich branch this weekend, ordered 2 pizzas, waited 100 minutes for them to arrive and when they did they were stone cold. Rang the branch, they told me my problem is with Uber eats not Rudys, the pizzas left the store hot. Great customer service.

Visited the chains Prestwich branch…

Visited the chains Prestwich branch last week
Crammed reception area where customers expected to stand until a vague acknowledgement without a smile .
We were shown to our slightly sticky table and abandoned for ten minutes
A chap then offered an insincere apology and took our order including drinks.
Two of the three pizzas arrived and looked fine
Mine arrived a few minutes later and appeared burnt.I quickly discarded the crust only to find the pizza was still raw dough in the centre .I tried attracting a member of staffs attention but all busy .
One drink arrived but two drinks did not .
We quickly paid for the meal and escaped .terrible service ,one awful pizza and no drink .never again

Rudys Chapel Allerton Leeds, rubbish, rubbish food.

Went to Rudys Chapel Allerton Leeds. I have to say I can’t write a bad enough review that would do this review justice. If you want a pizza that’s burnt and need a magnifying glass to find the topping you’d probably like Rudys in Chapel Allerton Leeds. Absolutely dreadful. I bought the Tonno, and I asked for extra nduga sausage. I couldn’t find any topping. However the wine made me sufficiently tipsy not to want to report a rubbish pizza. I took 3/4 home and stored it carefully in the rubbish bin. Really really bad. However if you want a good pizza you can’t beat Asda.

Atrocious Service Sale home delivery

Having had great pizza when we collect from Altrincham ordered a takeaway via the uber deal from sale. 1 hour later with delivery time going further and further out we're frankly really annoyed. The order was going to be delivered by moped... Then it changed to by car and in the latest twist now coming (or not) by pushbike (but still not picked up from restaurant) .... If you fancy getting pizza delivered go to your local pizza and kebab shop at least you'll get fed before bed time....But oh joy we can cancel at no charge... Defeats the object ... Sooooo Unhappy. Guess what? when you cancel it after 1.5 hours the cancellation confirmation comes through in an instant. Call me a cynic but I'd wager they never intended to attempt to fulfil this order 🤷🏻 So much for the Rudys difference...

great time yesterday evening

I had a great time yesterday evening at Rudys Pizza at Ancoats whilst visiting friends in Manchester. The Portobello mushroom pizza was so thin, hot and tasty. Wine and cocktails good value. Waiter Paul and Manager Niall attentive and kind 👍🏻

Terrible service...

Terrible service...

After walking across a rainy Liverpool my wife, daughter and I attempted to go to Rudy's pizza on Bold Street (Liverpool) and although there were approximately 10 tables free we were informed that the restaurant was fully booked, when I asked if we can sit in the half empty section towards the back I was informed exact words "That area is now closed for the day and it will be at least an hour before we can seat you" (Sunday afternoon 4pm)...I just don't understand how can a section be closed where people were already eating?

As a many time previous customer of Rudy's I was astonished that we were refused as you can be in and out of this restaurant in no time, usually about £60 lighter - I went outside and checked on my phone and was able to book a table pretty much straight away (although at this point there was no way I was returning).

As a business owner myself I felt there was absolutely no reason to turn us away whatsoever and I would be devestated to think my employees might turn people away in this manor.

Not impressed by this branch of Rudy's, which definately needs an attitude check and attention in the training department.

I would be surprised if I return TBH

SHARON; Rudy's Pizza Napoletana, Albert

Received Cold, unwelcome reception from SHARON on Sat 24/8/24 @ 17:37.
TABLE/TICKET /ORDER number was: 9002

When we attempted to choose three items from the menu, SHARON told us to stand over to her right (out of sight ), in the narrow gap behind the screen where other servers bustled, and unseen to other seated customers. Several seats /tables were vacant. SHARON was unkind and could have asked us to take a seat.

SHARON could have been helpful but was disinterested in helping us avoid PORK on the menu. SHARON said she did NOT know what FENNEL sausage was, claiming initially it was CHICKEN until I queried twice, to find it was PORK!

Upon ordering, SHARON told us to wait outside and that she would bring our order to us. Several vacant seats and chairs were still available. SHARON was unkind and insensitive that I had a dependent child in tow.

On visiting the bathroom in the restaurant, I sat down, my disabled child and I, at a vacant table for two. SHARON went out of her way, approached us, and told us that we could NOT sit there, as the table was reserved. THERE WAS NO RESERVATION SIGN on the table nor any other vacant tables we looked at.

-Our order arrived! We could NOT be sure we were given what was ordered, so we double-checked on the table, DISCOURAGED FROM OUR USE by SHARON, as we had lost FAITH in SHARON.

On leaving RUDY'S Albert Dock, Liverpool, SHARON, still front-of-house at this time, looked -up at me, and our eyes met. -Only SHARON knows why, regarding her attitude and behaviour towards us!

To avoid any confusion with anyone else, for descriptive purposes, the SHARON that we encountered above, who was working and serving us at RUDY'S on that time and day, was approximately 5 3" tall, had a blonde shoulder-length bob, was pale in complexion, and wore a grey cardigan.

The food took a backseat, owing to the above.

Went to Rudys at Albert Docks in Liverpool …. we thought we had booked here but had actually booked Manchester in error. The staff said they were booked up but were then able to give us a table outside. The staff were excellent and very caring and the food was just yummy!! Cannot praise the staff enough, we had 2 children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed their pizza and garlic bread. Again 10 out of 10 for such fabulous staff. We were there at 6.30pm tonight the 11th Aug

Grown & Greed - ACCESSIBILITY, Not a priority.

Been a fan of Rudys since their first ever store as we loved their pizza. We moved away and but every time we returned we would visit.

We were delighted when they were opening one within a half hour drive, and visited as often as possible.

I called up Tuesday night to place an order for collection. No one answered the phone until the 8th time of it ringing until answer phone over an hour period.

I then went to order but to be told no, you must do it via Uber Eats or Deliveroo. Really sad to hear that a company now wants to pay a 3rd party company to do the work rather than investing in a pad and pen.

I have neither, I reluctantly checked my Uber account and an option to order food, we clicked the Rudys menu to find it more expensive by a lot and compared to eating in or ordering direct (passing on the cost to their customers) At that point we gave up as we favour companies who are customer focussed.

It’s fine, you just lost a fan and loyal customer - when in your home town there are plenty of other great places, and around here - well we found a great little place after our experience.

Amazing Service, highly recommend!

Compelled to write this review as received outstanding service from Ruby's in Birmingham, bravo!!
Rhiannon was absolutely amazing, can't praise her enough for the resolution to our dilemma. Deliveroo were the culprits again as usual, I'm deleting the app as its an insensitive platform considering its usually guests who are left without food due to their incompetence.
We have visited Ruby's restaurant birmingham and my son (10yrs old, so hard to please lol) loves the pizza here, so I recommend to all to try. Fantastic service for me and will be coming there in person more often to experience the freshness first hand.
Thank you so much Rhiannon (sorry if I spelt name wrong) handled my agitation, from the predicament I was in so well that I had to write a review to show my gratitude, appreciated and well done!!

Absolutely amazing service from the manager of rudys deansgate. My friends are getting married in 2 weeks and their venue has told them they can no longer cater for the evening. Beth has arranged a bulk order for them at such short notice. Absolutely saved their day! You are a star and we are so grateful to you!!

Delicious and Reasonable

Went for a quick bite to eat last week and shared a pizza, a veg platter and a couple of drinks. The pizza was perfectly cooked and the platter was delicious. With a pint and an Aperol spritz it was about £30 which I thought very reasonable. Staff were attentive and lovely.

The pizza had an undercooked base it was basically almost raw dough inedible and to be honest when I called the lady said sorry and you can have the next one on us. While that is a nice sentiment it doesn’t fill my belly tonight. I just moved to Warrington and exhausted from moving wanted a hot properly cooked PIZZA.
