Delivered on time, scaffolding good condition and clean, the collection was a few days late, but got the job done on time.

Reliable and efficient

I would strongly advise against using SAB Supply based on my experience.

I placed an order for scaffolding on Thursday morning for delivery the following day. Late on Thursday afternoon, I received a call to say it wouldn't arrive until Monday. While this was disappointing, I accepted the delay and rearranged everything accordingly.

Monday came and went with no delivery and, even worse, no communication or update from the company. We had already arranged for people to be on site to erect the scaffold, so this wasted both our time and money.

After chasing them, I was told it would definitely be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday morning arrived and there was still no sign of the scaffold.

At that point, I had completely lost confidence in the company. I called to request a full refund as the service had been extremely poor from start to finish. Repeated broken promises, no proactive communication, and complete disregard for customers' time are simply unacceptable.

Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend SAB Supply and will not be using them again.

Booked a scaffolding tower in advance - failed to deliver on the planned day so it was re booked in for the following day, failed to deliver this day also! No communication unless I called them, they appear to have very little respect for their customers time - very poor! It was such an inconvenience, I would advise to go elsewhere.

I recently hired this scaffolding tower company and couldn't be happier with the service. The tower was delivered exactly on time, communication was excellent throughout, and the price was fantastic compared to other quotes I received. The whole process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free.

They were trustworthy, reliable, and clearly take pride in providing a great service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for scaffolding hire and will definitely use them again in the future.

Extremely disappointing collection service and customer support.

The company advertises collections as taking place throughout the day and refuses to provide customers with a collection time slot. However, on our scheduled collection date, the driver arrived at approximately 8:00am with no prior phone call, text message, or estimated arrival time.

The scaffold had not yet been dismantled because we had received no indication that collection would take place that early. Like many businesses and sites, we were expecting collection during normal working hours. It is entirely reasonable to assume that not everyone will be present and ready for collection at 8:00am, especially when no collection window has been provided.

When the driver arrived, we explained that we only needed 5 minutes to dismantle the scaffold. Instead of waiting, he left almost immediately. There also appeared to be a language barrier which made communication difficult and may have contributed to the misunderstanding.

What makes this even more frustrating is that after leaving, the driver remained parked nearby for a period of time. From what we could see, the vehicle was parked roughly 20 metres away, yet despite us only asking for 5 minutes to complete the dismantling, no attempt was made to accommodate a simple and reasonable request.

After contacting customer service, we were then informed that if we wanted the driver to return, we would have to pay an additional £15 collection charge. This is despite the fact that the company had refused to provide any collection time slot and had simply stated that collections are carried out "throughout the day."

You cannot have it both ways. If customers are not given a collection time, they should not be penalised because a driver arrives unexpectedly at 8:00am. If collections can occur before normal business hours, customers should be clearly informed beforehand or provided with at least a morning or afternoon collection window.

The scaffold itself was perfectly acceptable, but the collection process and the handling of this situation were extremely poor. A little flexibility, communication and common sense would have avoided the entire issue.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not use this company again and would not recommend them to others.

Good prices and delivery on time. Equipment provided was good. There were issues with the platform originally supplied but this was rectified quickly.

Delivery was on time. The product hired as described. Collection on time. No issues very satisfied with the experience.

A very poor experience as the tower was not delivered as agreed and had no communication that it was not going to be delivered. I had to call and was then told the local supplier was not emailed. They then said delivery would be the next day and again no delivery or call so phoned again at midday to be told that it was not sent out. This put me back 2 days , luckily called a local company and had the tower delivered by 8am the next morning. What a complete waste of time and will deal locally from now on.

Hired on line at a great price. They then contract out to local hire company. In my case Speedy Hire, Penryn Cornwall.
Communication seems to be non existant. Upon booking, you receive a confirmation email that says on day of delivery, you can phone or message SAB and they will get a rough time of delivery. I called at 8.15, we will find out and call back. 10.30 nothing heard, called again to be told they hadnt heard back from local delivery company, called again 12.30 as no reply, they advised they would look into it. Delivery from local Speedy hire arrived around 1.00pm. No promised call backs received.

Day before hire ended call from SAB, confirming I had finished and collection for following day, which i confirmed.
Collection day, I called Speedy hire to get a pick up time and was told 2.30pm. At 5pm with no sign of collection, i called again, to be told SAB hadnt contacted them to confirm hire had finished, so collection would now be on the coming Monday.

In summary, great tower at great price. But Communication appallingly over delivery and collection.

April 2026. Hire one week. Scaffold tower. Delivery and collection were prompt on the required days by friendly drivers. Equipment was perfect. Great service and a great price. Well pleased.

SHOCKING COMPANY, SCAFFOLD NOT DELIVERED AND FABRICATED A STORY TO AVOID TAKING RESPONSABILITY FOR THEIR OWN INCOMPETANCE... NONE DELIVERY OF TOWER AND REFUSAL OF REFUND!

Absolutely shocking service from Sab Supply. The staff were completely incompetent from start to finish, and despite promises, the scaffold was never delivered. Poor communication, zero reliability, and a total waste of time. Avoid at all costs. I will never use them again.

Equipment was as described. Delivery and pick up was efficient and on time Telephone staff were friendly and helpful.

Seamless, professional, from order to collection.

Very fast service, and very reasonably priced.

However, when it came to organising the collection, it was a real challenge - it took 2-3 weeks for our scaffolding to actually be collected after we'd finished with it.

One day we had a driver who was apparently attempting to collect the scaffolding, but the description given didn't match our building at all - we're a business with a sign on the front of our building, on an industrial park, with a very large unit number on the outside too.

I don't feel that was really on SAB, and more a reflection of their 3rd party suppliers/sub contractors, but it was very inconvenient for a smaller business without space to store a scaffolding unit for 2-3 weeks without impacting every day business operations.
