Amazing Sacred Seeds Festive Herbal Gifts workshop

Alice is amazing, she is so knowledgeable and makes learning about herbs and plants so fun! I've loved going on foraging walks before and this time I brought my son to the fabulous festive herbal gift making workshop. We made so many lovely goodies like delicious choccies, blended teas, essential oil room sprays, bath salts and body butter, it was so fantastic thank you Alice! xx

A really wonderful day at the Spring…

A really wonderful day at the Spring Foraging and Wild Medicine course at Wowo Campsite, Wapsbourne Manor Farm, Sheffield Park, Uckfield.
A full day of being taught foraging and basic botany and then making delicious dishes from our gathered findings.
We gathered many different wild plants, leaves and flowers from the walk around the beautiful Sussex countryside, being taught as we went by the extremely experienced and well informed Alice. She imparted her knowledge with such inspiring enthusiasm and authority, it was privilege to witness.
Our session in the woods around the campfire after lunch was so liberating and unleashed our inner child. We cooperated with each other, all new friends and fellow student foragers, to prepare delicious dishes which we then were able to eat. What delights our tastebuds had, combinations of never before tried plants and flowers!
We then put together a tonic, our own individual choices, made from a selection of up to six plants, mixed with apple cider vinegar, and to be allowed to steep and mature for up to six weeks. Alice also made us a first aid balm, to put on bruises.
The people on the course were all like minded folk, and all lovely company and so full of kindred spirits.
At the end we were able to go to the campsite shop, which stocked Alice’s own tinctures and powder blends, as well as various health food shop supplies. The main shop has campsite essentials and clothing.
All in all, this was the most enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend anyone with an interest in foraging to attend one of Alice’s events. You will not be disappointed.
