I absolutely loved interning in Barcelona, Spain this past summer. It was one of the most eye-opening adventures I have ever been on. Barcelona's international atmosphere made it easy to meet people from all over the world. I learned so much, not just about my field, but about different cultures and perspectives. Plus, navigating the professional environment in a foreign country helped me grow a lot—things like adapting to a different work culture, and even picking up some Spanish.

I spent my summer of 2024 in Madrid, Spain, at a startup company working as a digital marketing specialist. I learned so much valuable information in the workspace, met some incredible people I will stay in contact with, and traveled all around the beautiful country of Spain. Sage Corps has added so much value to my life with this experience. I graduate next semester, and I'm already making plans to move to Europe. It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend it to any student interested in studying abroad. It's even better because you're working a global internship!

From beginning to end, my time in Amsterdam was amazing! The program did a great job at making sure that myself and everyone else in the program felt welcomed and a part of the city and culture. The city managers were super helpful and nice -- the kind of people you'd love to have drinks with. Any worries I had about moving to a different country and culture were quickly wiped as I started to meet new people, explore the city, and, of course, begin working. My experience working at a Startup was amazing! Not only did I develop my skills and build up my resume, but I also felt like I was truly making an impact at work. This experience still effects me now, and gives my the confidence to know that I can tackle any challenge I face. If you're on the fence, or even thinking about joining the program, this is your sign!

All that I can say is that I wish I was back in Dublin! Every aspect of my abroad experience was absolutely perfect. This summer I had the opportunity to work with an innovative Dublin startup, while also having an incredible group of fellow interns made up of other college students from schools across America. I honestly could not think of a better way to experience life in Europe and I cannot thank Sage Corps enough for such an incredible summer!

During my time in Lisbon as part of Sage Corps, I met so many amazing people and got to experience the beautiful country of Portugal along with them. My program coordinators, Lindsay and Rose, were great! They helped me a lot when my luggage got lost at the airport, and made sure I had all the resources I needed to succeed at my internship. The professional part of the program was also great. Without Sage Corps, I would have never met my wonderful manager and team who I worked with this past summer. Working with Sage Corps was a unique experience, and I'm glad I got to experience it!

I absolutely loved interning with Sage Corps in the summer of 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. I came in not really knowing what I wanted to do career-wise, but learned so much about my professional goals and development through an incredible placement with ReFunk (women-founded furniture upcycling company) and the internship allowed me to learn about business development and startup company work culture while also growing my skills in media as I also study film and wanted to create a video series for my team. Everyone was so sweet at Dogpatch Labs and my Ireland cohort of students made the time abroad so much more fun as they truly felt like a family I could explore the world with.

During my freshman summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern abroad in Berlin. It was an amazing experience, marking my first formal internship where I had significant agency to make a real impact. Sage Corps also had lots of fun activities after work and on weekends. The Berlin cohort was amazing, and I miss my time there!

Thanks to Sage Corps, my summer internship experience abroad in Dublin was absolutely incredible! From the moment I decided to embark on this journey until the day I returned home, Sage Corps provided unwavering support every step of the way. This newfound confidence empowered me to fully immerse myself in both my work and the vibrant city of Dublin. I can honestly say that I couldn't have imagined a more enriching way to experience living and working abroad. Sage Corps not only provided me with an internship opportunity but also instilled in me a sense of capability and independence that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors.

Thanks to Sage Corps I had an amazing experience interning abroad! From before my departure to after my time abroad ended, Sage Corps was there helping me every step of the way. With Sage Corps, you don't just apply then get sent away. The whole Sage Corps team works to help find a start up that is right for you. You are taught the hard and soft skills you will need to work at a start up abroad. If you have any questions about flights, accommodations, or general travel, there is a team member happy to help you. Once you arrive program managers and city managers are only a text away no matter what you need. There was not one moment I felt truly alone despite physically traveling alone across an ocean. Even after your program concludes Sage Corp helps you build your resume and connects you with its extensive alumni network. Once you are a part of Sage Corps, Sage Corps cares about you and your future success. That never ends. Because of everything Sage Corps did for me before, during, and after the program, while I was there I was able to feel totally confident everyday at work and after work in a way I never felt before. I was on my own exploring a new city and taking on a new job, but I knew I was capable. This feeling allowed to me experience all my internship and the city of Barcelona had to offer. I cannot imagine a better way to have experienced living and working in Barcelona!

My internship experience in Australia at an ed tech company was nothing short of exceptional. Sage Corps not only places students in dynamic work environments but also ensures that the internships provide valuable and practical learning experiences. The exposure to a start-up culture allowed me to contribute meaningfully to my host company while developing essential skills for my future career.

One of the standout aspects of the Sage Corps program is the opportunity for extensive travel and exploration. During my time in Australia, I had the chance to immerse myself in the diverse landscapes and vibrant culture. From scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef to exploring the enchanting rainforests, every moment was an adventure. The program's structure encourages participants to make the most of their time abroad, fostering a sense of curiosity and discovery.

Being part of a cohort of students added immense value to my Sage Corps experience. The program creates a supportive community that extends beyond the workplace. The friendships I forged during my time abroad are enduring, and we continue to stay in touch, sharing our post-program journeys and supporting each other's endeavors. The sense of camaraderie fostered by Sage Corps is a testament to the program's commitment to creating a holistic experience for its participants.

Was truly a life changing opportunity. I’ve made friends that I hope to hang on to for the rest of my life, and connections that will enhance my business career immensely. I was lucky enough to be in a company that was in its very beginning stages and was in need of extra help for the long term, so I was able to get hired by the company I interned for. Extremely grateful for Sage Corps helping me connect with this company, as there is no way I would have found out about it soon enough otherwise.

There was a great support system, and it was over all a great trip. The staff was able to help me through every step of the process and they prepared you really well for the trip. They were there to also make sure that there was nothing that went wrong.

Sage Corps is a great program for students who want to gain international work and entrepreneur experience without having to leave their homes. The program is well-organized and the staff is supportive and helpful. I was able to find a great internship with a UK based startup company in North Ireland, and I learned a lot about the internal process of business; and honed my skills in financial modeling, pitch deck preparation, market research and more. I would highly recommend Sage Corps to any student who is interested in gaining valuable insights about real business world and get mentored directly from CEO and founders.

Sage Corp is a unique experience for many reasons. However, what stood out to me was the internships that we worked and the experiences we had. Specifically, being with other college students created a great environment. Whether it was riding the metro to work together or grabbing lunch on our breaks, it was incredibly helpful for all of us to stay focused. All of the internships we had were with startups or environmentally focused brands, which I am incredibly passionate about. The combination of creating friendships and working towards something that I felt mattered were two of the unique aspects of Sage Corp.

I wanted to study/intern abroad to learn more about myself both personally and professionally, and Sage Corps gave me exactly what I wanted and more. My internship options were tailored exactly to my interests, and from seeing my cohorts' placements it seemed that was the case for everybody. The internship-matching process is one of the things that stands Sage Corps out from other intern-abroad programs, among their commitment to cultural immersion and student safety. We had lovely Sage Corps staff in Sydney that helped us feel looked after and supported while being in a foreign country, and this local staff was also able to pick out the best cultural and professional events for us to attend. Sage Corps also has a large and lively alumni base that was happy to connect with Sage Corps prospects before going abroad (I connected with alumni from the program in 2018 and 2019!). Despite all this, along with boosting my resume and professional experience with my dream internship, the people in my cohort are what made this experience the most special. Getting to live abroad for 2 months with students from all over the country in a multitude of disciplines (hand-picked by Sage Corps staff to ensure everyone is like-minded and driven) made for a truly life-changing experience that I am thankful for every day.

Last summer I had an unbelievable time in Paris. I completed a Marketing internship at Watch Certificate, a startup company that certifies and provides market valuations for luxury watches. At Watch Certificate I had the opportunity to create comparative analysis models of the international watch market, expand company contacts through global outreach, refine their unique selling proposition, and redesign their website using Figma to enhance the user experience. I met some of my best friends that I am currently studying and traveling abroad with. Sage Corps allowed me to experience Paris like a local and provided me with a sense of security in a foreign country.

It was a great experience for a college student looking to get ahead over the summer! I was in the Chicago program and got to work for a startup in Merchandise Mart (one of the nicest buildings in Chicago right on the river). Here I had a great time connecting with like minding students and gaining real-life experiences.

An Inspirational Experience that Changed My Life

When I first learned about Sage Corps and its study abroad programs, I didn’t think much of it. I applied for the program and chose to study in Sydney, Australia. I didn’t believe I was traveling to Australia, even when I got accepted into the Sydney Program! After boarding my first flight, I still didn’t feel like I was going to Australia.

My time in Sydney was an eye-opening and life-changing experience. The first thing I noticed was the Australian community. The places I traveled, people were welcoming and offered their help whenever they could. The amount of diversity and culture was astonishing! There were all types of people from all over the world here in one city. I loved it so much. Exploring Sydney’s nature, landmarks, and city life were beautiful. Sydney has the best of both worlds: nature and the city. If you prefer nature, there is plenty of natural aesthetics throughout the suburbs, as well as beaches, mountains, parks, etc. If you enjoy the city more, there are many activities to explore , like the famous landmarks: the Sydney Bridge, the Opera House, QVB, etc. When I traveled to Australia, there were always events that were going on that promoted culture, holidays, self-care, and many other things!

I was fortunate to meet a group of Sage Corps interns who shared a similar mindset and appreciated the opportunities in Sydney. The people I met made Australia feel like another home to me. I’m honored and happy that I had the pleasure of sharing the memories and experiences I created with this group of people. I still think of them today :)

My internship experience at Breakawave made a significant impact on my life. The company is about sourcing services and goods that customers need. The foundation and story behind Breakawave are inspirational and admirable because it is all about paying it forward. I had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Jonny Baird, who showed me how to view life with positivity and opportunities. I learned a lot about the little things in life that can make a huge impact. Zac Deane is another inspiring person who I met because of Breakawave. He showed me a side of health that I was not unaware and how everything can impact how you feel. Jonny and Zac both hold a tremendous amount of knowledge and share it to the world out of their kindness.

The opportunity that Sage Corps provides is more than I could ever ask. Everyone has a different story and path with their study abroad journey.
"Travel is the best investment you can make in yourself" is a quote I truly felt after Australia. Needless to say, I appreciate every experience with Sage Corps.

Sage Corps is a great program for any student that wants real experience and is excited about working with innovative start-ups. I interned remotely and it was a great decision for me as a recent-graduate. I felt supported all throughout the various interviews I had for Marketing. I am fortunate to still be at the same company I interned for as a Marketer and content writer. It's amazing that I'm able to work from home and create a "working space" from anywhere in the world at this point. This was a great fit for me, and it's because Sage Corps is present every step of the way!

Sage Corps has been sending talented young people abroad for internships with cutting-edge entrepreneurs. Face real challenges, solve real problems, and come up with solutions.

During the two-week project, we will work with the company's CEO, CMO and CTO, and build real and effective solutions to real problems with their guidance and advice. Outside of working hours, we will have the opportunity to live like locals, both personally and professionally. In addition, a global network will be gradually established during the weekly professional development activities.

The best thing about Sage Corps is that its impact doesn't end with the end of the project. After the completion of the project, we can still feel the great benefits brought by the company: in the eyes of future employers, the unique overseas internship experience will give us more advantages.
