Awesome in a box…

The process of ordering the box was easy and quick. It was fantastic. Took a little longer than expected to get here, but when it arrived the amount of things in it was awesome! The descriptions and the history given in the little information packet was absolutely fantastic. Totally enjoyed getting this box and would recommend anyone interested in Japanese culture to get it?

Really happy with first box!

We just got our first box. I got it for my husband for Valentine's Day. It was late because of a hold up in customs, which isn't the company's fault. He loved the box! It was filled with all kinds of treats and came with a few bonus gifts (i.e., teacups & saucers) that felt high quality. We are happy so far!

Beautiful!

The boxes are beautifully curated. I can’t bring home everything I want to when I go to Japan. There just aren’t enough suitcases in the world!!! This is the next best thing. A little taste of the thing you love! My little collection of ceramics and the items is building nicely. Tea always tastes better from my proper tea cup!!!

The Sakuraco boxes are a lot of fun

The Sakuraco boxes are a lot of fun. They hold all kinds of snacks and treats and even some tableware. If you love Japan, this is a great gift. Some snacks aren't for vegetarians and many aren't for vegans. As a vegetarian the past two boxes have been ok and good. But I wouldn't recommend them for vegans.
It's not cheap but it's a wonderful edible gift. To yourself or others. 😉

The brown box from the post is so…

The brown box from the post is so deceiving until you open to find out what's inside. It's like my birthday everyday! After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I find that there are so many beautiful things that are made by these special artisans that Sakuro represents. Such a Gem. February box urged me to jump on a plane and fly to Kyoto but unfortunately I have to undergo Radiotherapy treatment for my cancer. The box is also so elegantly beautiful. Thank you.

Japan fans will love this!

The food you get is delicious and there's something for everyone. The booklets are helpful and informative. When one of my boxes went undeliverable, they replaced it with the next month's box. It was great!

Amazing collection of treats

I got this subscription box as a gift. The first box was mediocre, but this valentine's day edition is amazing. The quality, te diversity, the taste all speaks about the effort the company puts into this product. Really great value. Add on, I live the booklet with all the details of each product in the box and a bit of Japan's culture.

2nd box and it’s amazing

Just received my second box and really looking forward to trying everything in it. The price point is perfect for everything you receive in the box. The quality is fantastic and I really like the magazine that not only explains what is included and how to prepare it if necessary but also the traditions, culture and supplier stories. The additional tea subscription is also well worth it.

"Priority shipping" and it took over 30…

"Priority shipping" and it took over 30 faken days overall to arrive.

Multiple expired products due to their own incompetence with the slow shipping, attempted to offer me a faken credit on their site so I could give them even more money?? then when I disputed via paypal, they kept asking me to send the expired products back in order to refund me (which I already threw away and is probably somewhere on the atlantic ocean). Paypal decided on their favour because I did not provide them with the tracking #, what a sh1etty joke of a company.

FaKU YOU ALL AND HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT OR MASS CHARGEBACKED.

A taste of Japan!

We vacationed in Japan in November 25 and loved it! My husband for Christmas got me a 6 month subscription to Sakuraco. I have received the January and the February box so far. We have enjoyed all the products and teas we have received. So far my favorite is the Milk Chocolate Strawberries and also the Custard Taiyaki. I enjoy tea so he also got the tea subscription for me! Until our next trip to Japan, I look forward to receiving my monthly boxes🤗

Won't be getting any more

This box definitely cemented my decision not to continue the subscription. My daughter explained the one treat to me so adding 1 star but the paper calendar craft felt very cheap for what I pay. I was charged at the beginning of the month and box barely arrived by the end of the month. For me value was not there. First box had a moldy strawberry according to my daughter who I gave the item too.

New Year’s Nostalgia!

Loved everything in the January box! It was so nostalgic with the New Year’s goodies! There were items in there I haven’t had since I lived there 49 years ago!

Not too thrilled with the “non food” item this month.
