Do not trust Samsung - they change their T&C after purchase

Do not trust Samsung. They change the T&C during the promotion and after purchase - not honouring original terms!

From (when purchased):

"Participants who purchase (during the Promotion Period) a selected new (i.e. not second hand, refurbished or ex-display) Promotion Product (TV or Soundbar shown in Table 2 below) from a retailer listed HERE (each, a "Participating Retailer") by phone, in-store or online, in the Territory will receive a Reward credit to be applied to a selection of claimable gifts ("Gifts") with Gift values (reflecting their recommended retail price) as shown in Table 1 below. After deduction of the chosen Gift values any remaining balance of the Reward credit shall be payable to the Participant if they select that option in the Claim form, by bank transfer in GBP to their nominated account ("Cash Reward"). Bank details submitted by the Participant must match exactly the name on their Claim form to receive the Cash Reward."

Cashback Rejected

If you're purchasing a Samsung device thinking you'll be getting your cashback, think again. Opia runs the promotions on behalf of Samsung and they're not to be trusted at all. They initially approved my claim, after which they rejected it, saying I'm not eligible, even though I was. When I contacted them asking them to review it, they were not willing to help whatsoever, just pointing at their terms saying they have the final decision. Only buy a device assuming you won't get your cashback as there's a fair chance they will reject yours and refuse to help.

Ordered a Samsung S23FE via Samsungs…

Ordered a Samsung S23FE via Samsungs Triple promotion of £100 cashback, 12 months Disney+ and Samsung FE Earbuds.
Claim put in as soon as I received the phone, as you were required to supply the Imei number form the phone. Submission was easy enough, by supplying certain info on the 27/01/24 and was accepted within the hour. Rewards were promised within 45 days.
Disney+ sorted within days, earbuds arrived 04/03/24 (not from Opia) and cash back appeared (as I had expected right at the 11th hour so they can keep money in their bank to gain interest) today on the 11/03/24. Deadline was by the 12th!
So all in all it went well and as informed.
