Aleays excuses why they dont reimburse. So far, i they payed me back once 40 euros. At first, this invoive was declined too, but after a phone call they paid me back. I don't have the cheapest formula anf i'm very disappointed in them. With the monthly amount I paid for the insurance over time, I could have paid a lot of vet bills myself. Waist of money every month but I'm stuck with a yearly contract

Impossible to get in touch. Most things they do not cover claiming it is preexisting when it is not. I am expected to chase the vet in cases where they cannot read writing - as I live remotely and do not drive, I can not constantly go to the vet to get clarifications. Before signing up was told the app will be fixed (as I do not have a local number), but 1+ years later still cannot register with app. Communication via email and it takes 3 months + to process, after which stage they ask for a clarification and neither I nor the vet remember after such a long time. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I submitted the form to get the reimbursement of an emergency but I received a letter indicating this can be covered because I need to wait 45 days after illness… it doesn’t make sense

I activate the insurance fot 50% cash back, sent 2x bills 66 euros each and i had 20 euros back.
Therefore i would like to be contacted to clarify please

They don’t refund for almost anything. They have too strict rules about what they refund for and the make huge assumptions on what should not be refunded based on an invoice. And this is not what they sell you before enrolling. They also make it extremely difficult to stop being insured and made you stuck with them for a full year with no refunds if you paid in advance. They also renew the contract without your prior consent and there you are stuck with them again for another year. I will never recommend this insurance to anyone.

Insurance plan was very well detailed on their website. I only had to check it online and answered some questions and then...got my puppy insured. I also liked that I only have to pay the bills and give the insurance number to the vet clinic and no more papers to sign or to send to, to be able to get refunded. Would definitely recommend. 🙂

In over 2 years we have not handed in a single expense claim. Now we did it the first time for 2 invoices, and from the 180 Euro we claimed we did not even get back half (wile paying 50 Euro per month). I am sure somewhere in the contract is a good clause why the invoice for our dogs treatment when she fell a little ill was declined.
What a joke. We will stop the insurance and just put the money aside like this.

Fast and corect document procesing. It's really nice to have this professionally taken off my hands, and I don't have to worry about it.

I"m also grateful for the 40 euro promotional campaign for prevention for my dog.

Don’t take this insurance bcz when they say they will reimburse 90% it’s a lie!!!

They have always been very reliable, and made it so much easier for us to be a dog owner. It is the first time that we have a dog, and it is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to us, but at the beginning there were a lot of things to figure out. We like SantéVet a lot, quick easy communication by email, super easy reimbursement through the app, and whenever we had a question they have always been so helpful. We have the light package and it is so worth it! Going to the vet is expensive and time to time you just cannot avoid it, so it is a great financial help for us that we get 50% reimbursed. We decided to renew our contract with them.

I didn't get the preventive visit reimbursed

The process for reimbursement is fast but the amount reimbursed in relation to the annual cost is not sufficient. Furthermore, the explanation of what is and is not covered could be clearer.

Doesn't cover much. We have been subscribed for a year. We pay each month around 13 euros and so far we have been reimbursed 20 euros from all the doctor visits we had.
It's more expensive than a human insurance and doesn't cover anything.
I am very disappointed.
