I am glad I chose Santiago Ways for my group's Camino de Santiago walk. All the staff I called for any questions were very helpful, friendly and professional. Larissa took care of our booking, and all the hotels and inns she picked for us were wonderful. We had an issue with a delayed visa approval with some members of our group and she was able to provide us with other options, to our satisfaction and appreciation. I would also like to give a big shout out to Jorge Garcia for helping us with our overweight luggage transfer. He was quick to resolve our issue and gave me peace of mind knowing he was on standby to help us with any other issues. I will book my next year's camino again with Santiago Ways having a great experience and assurance of quality accommodations, meals, directions, information and excellent customer service. Mr. Jorge Garcia was very patient with all our inquiries and itinerary changes (we were communicating about our plans for more than 1 year!) Thank you, Jorge!
Replies to all our questions were quickly answered and the accommodations offered were excelltn in terms of facilities and location. We especialy appreciated our accommodation at Santiago de Compostela (Hospederia San Martin Pinario) which was only 150 meters from the Cathedral!
Luggage transfers were also done efficiently.
We will definitely refer Santiago Ways and Jorge to our friends who want to walk the Camino.

Santiago Ways created an epic Camiño trip for me.
Our representative was wonderful in designing a trip within the parameters I gave him, mainly the limits on the the number of miles I wanted to do per day. Lodging and the meals provided were wonderful. Getting our luggage from one place to the other was seamless. I will be using them again for my next Camiño trek.

I wanted to do a 250km+ Camino with bag transport and prebooked accom.
I wanted to do a 250km+ Camino but wanted the confidence that all my accomodation was prebooked and I could have additional baggage transported to minimise the gear I was carrying. SW booked all accom, breakfast and dinner. The accom was basic, but always clean and comfortable. Everthing went with without an issue, very happy with the service provided by SW.

Reputable & Reliable Agency for Camino de Santiago
I’ve used Santiago Ways twice now for my Camino de Santiagos. They are reputable, reliable, and easy to deal with, especially, Lucía Buiatti (who I corresponded with throughout the booking process). They arrange the hotels and luggage transfers, payment process is simple. For the most part, I did not have issues with the accommodations Santiago Ways booked on my second Camino, except for Casa Rural Venta Celta in O Cebreiro. The room at Casa Rural Venta Celta is outdated - terrible bed, flickering lights, damp room. Thank goodness I had a silk liner to sleep on. Hotel staff are not the friendliest or helpful either. The best part of the hotel is the location, right in O’Cebreiro - excellent. Santiago Ways should consider looking into arranging with a different hotel in O’Cebreiro to make their clients have a better experience in O'Cebreiro.

Our experience was simply shameful.
Our experience was simply shameful.
Three travelers from Colombia, everything paid, travel insurance with cancellation included (because, of course, you trust what you buy).
But when a REAL unforeseen event happens — an absurd and unfair deportation at Madrid airport, completely beyond our control (a lost passport on the plane) — the “great” agency Santiago Ways decided to wash its hands of it.
Despite having met all the contract conditions, sending documents, emails, calls, explanations… their response was:
👉 “We’re sorry, we can only offer you a small partial credit.”
An absolute disgrace!
It seems that for them, the cancellation insurance is just a pretty word in their advertising.
Zero empathy, zero professionalism, zero respect for the customer.
A cold, indifferent attitude completely contrary to the ethics any decent agency should have.

This was the only way to walk -- we did not have to be part of a large group, we could create our own journey with expert help. They did all the logistics flawlessly and allow us to focus on our trip. We did not have to stress how far to walk or where to stay or how to transport out luggage -- it was all taken care of! As were dinner at night and breakfast in the morning! The hotels were all solid -- with some amazing world class gems sprinkled in!

My Camino 2025
Santiagoways provided me with the basic information to complete my Caminio. Accommodations were all clean with different levels of experience and feel, from rustic to modern. Dinners were always excellent and breakfast was always continental. What was missing from my Dossier is an actual map of the Camino.
The provided information contained a description of how to get from one stop to the next. So, it's not a navigation tool. An app will definitely be a very useful for navigating the Camino, it should contain the map for navigation plus points of interest.
For newbies, There should also be descriptions about other traditions such as Pilgrims mass schedule, Pilgrims diploma, Pilgrims medals etc. which I only discovered when I got to Santiago de Compostela.
