Poor quality goods and even worse customer service.

We spent more than $200 USD on items from Sauna Pro. One was a sand timer, which turns out to be a poorly designed and manufactured product; not fit for purpose.

Firstly, the predrilled holes for the screws (to position it onto a wall as it is clearly designed to be) mean that once you screw it in, the timer can no longer turn 180 degrees because there are no counter-sunk holes (i.e. the screws sit proud of the wood). The turning part hits the edge of the screw and it can't turn any more. I was prepared to accept that and just have it on the window ledge but now, the whole thing is broken because whatever attached the hour glass part to the wood could not stand the heat of a normal sauna temperature and it gave way and dropped off onto the floor, smashing the glass and spreading the sand.
I contacted Saunapro and was told by Paulius that the fixing issue is 'my fault'. There is not a screw produced that could be used for fixing this timer to the wall of the sauna without experiencing the same issue. Yet Paulius told me he's fixed loads of them so therefore it's my fault.
I sent photos of the part that dropped off a few days ago and they haven't bothered to respond other than to blame me for the fixing issue.
Spend your money elsewhere; there are better quality products available from companies who actually give a s**t.
