If you might need to return, don't use...

Really like the shoes BUT if you have to return them, as you'll see from previous reviews - it becomes a nightmare.

I ordered a pair for my partner but she needed a size bigger. I ordered a new pair and returned the wrong size. The return process seems very messy - not clear instructions, forms, and you have to pay to do this (which is fine, I get it).

After dropping off at a DHL returns shop in early January, I still haven't received any update and it's not clear who I can contact about my return.

For the past 3 weeks I have been in & out of talks with SAYE via their chat and often get no reply (or forwarded to my email when they do). Blame has been passed to DHL and there is a total lack of ownership or instructions on how to get this solved.

So in short, I have currently paid over £200 for one pair of shoes. Clearly, something is wrong as seems a lot of people have had the same experience.

Shame - as the product seems good and I always want to support a vegan brand but this is not ideal.

Absolutely dreadful experience so far:

Ordered trainers on 31st January - after waiting 10 days with no further updates I got in touch - no reply to my first email and then another one saying it would be sent soon. A few days later another email saying there was trouble with the warehouse and finally a day or so after that one more saying my size was out of stock and would I like to wait or have store credit or reorder in a different colour. I am still waiting for an answer on how I re order - this is almost 3 weeks later. I am appalled by the disorganisation and delay in answering customer service emails - if you are going to have no telephone number then at least be on top of customer emails. I also tried their Instant Messaging service via their website but after waiting an hour to be connected after the 'web bot' couldn't help me, I gave up.
I have no idea about the actual trainers as I have yet to receive anything but I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone - I'm only leaving this as Saye sent me an email asking about my experience...
I would rate 0 Stars if I could.

Terrible customer service! Refund awaited after 4 months.

Terrible service from start to finish! I ordered a pair of trainers and they arrived over 2 weeks late. When they did arrive, I changed my mind and generated a return to send them back. SAYE charged £12.50 to return the trainers. Notwithstanding the delivery issues, they refused to allow me to return the shoes for free or at a discounted rate.

I didn’t receive a return confirmation email and my emails were ignored multiple times. I raised a claim with my bank for a refund and SAYE then decided that they ‘could not’ refund me until the claim was closed. I proceeded to close the claim and sent proof of this by email on multiple occasions. 4 months later and SAYE are still refusing to issue a refund. I have repeatedly asked to speak to someone on the phone but, again, SAYE are refusing to help and have insisted that there is no way to speak to someone on the phone.

I am gobsmacked at the terrible service and I’m still waiting for my £120 refund.

Nice but wore out too quickly

I really liked the look of these shoes and had a bunch of compliments on them. Within a couple of months they started cracking around the toe bend on both sides of both shoes and also holes tore around the perforations. I hadn't been wearing them that often or scuffing my shoes THAT much. Now there's a hole in the sole as I came back from a walk with a wet sock! The sustainability of these shoes is cancelled out if they are shipped over from Germany and if they wear out so quickly that you have to keep buying more.

Solid, stylish vegan shoes :)

Environmentally aware, vegan shoe companies are hard to come by. Props to SAYE for driving these values while also designing cool shoes for a range of aesthetics. Checkout process and shipping were smooth to US. The shoes feel solid and well made, overall great experience so far.

Nice looking, nice feeling, responsive customer service

Delivery was on time and the shoe looks and feels great! One of the shoes had some noticeable creasing where the other did not, so I reached out to customer service. They responded in the timeline presented and provided some options. Were nice enough to follow up as well.

I'd love to leave a review about the product, yet I've still not received the shoes after placing my order on the 29th December 2024!
The shoes arrived a few days after submitting this review!!!! I'm glad they did as the shoes are perfect 👌 I'll give a couple of stars for that!
