Very concerned to see so many reports…

Very concerned to see so many reports of goods not being delivered. I too am waiting for delivery of some trellis’s ordered mid august and have had no response. I’ve filed a dispute form with my bank to try to get my money back, but worryingly they are still actively trading on their website so others could order without seeing reviews like these first. If they have indeed gone out of business as some of the posts suggest this is fraud, is there a way to report this?

If I could give screen with envy "0"…

If I could give screen with envy "0" stars, I would. Ordered 2 screens, 2 posts, u-channels and a handrail cover. Got the orders but handrail missing and fixtures including post cap missing. Have tried contacting the company so many times with no reply. Do not buy from this company!!!

I think it is shocking that this…

I think it is shocking that this company is still trading. They are just thieves, I ordered 3 panels at the beginning of August, and a further one 2 weeks later. Didn't hear anything for 8 weeks so despite being bombarded daily with offers, I contacted them and told them that since there had been no contact I wanted to cancel the order. Now, no contact, no refund and no being bombarded with adverts although they are still offering sale offers. There are so many people lost money through them and no way to contact. Save your money, use someone that has got a good reputation.

It is now March 2023, I still have not received any panels and no refunds or communications until today!! They sent me a SALE Email. They must think that I want to give more money to Thieves, because that is all they are.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I ordered three panels three months ago. Received an email saying it was on its way.....then it turns out they are not in stock. Customer Service is absolutely shocking, phone lines are always 'down at the moment' and on line chat doesnt work. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

SCAMMERS. BE AWARE, VERY AWARE!

Telephoned the company, they picked up the phone immediately. I placed an order for three panels and a gate. told they were in stock, wrapped next day and dispatched day after. LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE!.
When I chased the order it had to be via email as nobody would discuss shipping over the phone and it was always.....be with you next week, as 30 days approched and no delivery I threatened SWE with a credit card switchback, they said full order will be with me in two days, only the gate turned up so I refused the delivery sending item back.
Fortunately I paid on my credit card and actioned the 2015 consumer act via my credit card company for failure to deliver the full order within 30 days. All the money, just short of £1000 was put back into my account. PLEASE HEED MY ADVISE, DON`T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

Worse company ever

I totally agree with the previous comments, terrible company, complete scammers. I ordered four panels for the garden and then cancelled the order on 30th August I am still waiting for promised refund. Telephone lines down and I have now started a dispute process through my credit card company. I paid £1200.50 they were quick to take the money !

Without doubt the WORST company I have…

Without doubt the WORST company I have ordered from. After 2 MONTHS I still have not received my goods or any information about the order. NO ANSWERS to numerous telephone calls, chat or email enquiries. MONIES TAKEN UP-FRONT with NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. This is despite all their website promises. DO NOT APPROACH THIS COMPANY, there are other providers of the same goods. A RUBBISH EXPERIENCE.

Scammers

Communication is extremely poor with this business or more like operation rather than business if you read all of the negative reviews calling out Screen With Envy as a scam.

They have ignored my emails and guess what? Their telephone line has been down for essential maintenance for the last three weeks however they state they are reachable by email. This is obviously false as they have not and will not respond to emails.

I view this operation as a scam and advice others to avoid them at all costs. I question the authenticity of any positive reviews and believe those reviews to not be genuine.

Horrible

Never, never again I will buy anything in this company. I ordered a gate and a pedestrian gate last year, it took 2 months to arrive and the screws to mount the pedestrian gate were missing. It's been more than 7 months that I am waiting for the missing pieces. Everytime they invent an excuse, it is the worst company that I have ever known. I have sent lots of mails, and talk to them on the phone many times, now they don't even answer the phone. Expensive and no customer care at all

Awful experience so far I placed an order in August and I’m still waiting for my order which showed a 5 day lead time. I was told the tracking order sent to me was incorrect and some items were infact out of stock.
I have requested a refund and tried to contact several times with zero response.

Worst customer service I’ve ever…

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They have taken my money I ordered fencing on the 15 August and have received nothing only excuses by text if anyone does contact me. I’ve asked for a refund and all I’ve had is one excuse after another . This is now October and I’ve taken it to trading standards who are helping me try to get my money back. DINT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

3 month and still no delivery

Waiting my order since the 26 of July (we are the 5th Oct). I was told at the begining that the panel were ready but not the gate. Now I asked if I could get the panel first and wait for the gate but the panel are gone too. Every 2w they say the waiting time is 2W. I am trying to cancel my order now.

I to originally ordered a Radiator…

I to originally ordered a Radiator cover back in April when this finally arrived in June it was damaged a crack across the front and to chips either end, immediately sent photos took weeks to get a response eventually replied to the e mail to say I could have 10% of price back or replacement obviously I wanted a replacement as I did not wanted a damaged one!, that was promised in July, contacted again as we sailed into August, still no word from them and we are in October now there phone line is ‘undergoing maintenance’ very convenient, I have just seen on Mumsnet that they are in administration?

Suspect Companies House filings

I ordered a gate from them at the beginning of July and still not arrived. Same experience as described by everyone else. No replies. Monumentally dreadful customer service.

Serious issues I see are (1) they’ve had limited if any stock for months as so much is on pre-order, so (2) they may have cash flow issues and unable to get stock in.

This might be why (3) they’re on permanent sale for pre-ordered goods to raise cash (for stock they do not have) and (4) they moved their accounting period forward six months in July which is a red flag for a company in possible financial distress: it allows them to delay posting their accounts with Companies House.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!
