The flight delay assist feature great couldnt access
The flight delay assist feature within the policy is a great idea however at the time I recieved the link to register and I was too late and then on the flight home I was on a loop from the website travelcaredelayassist.co.nz asking me to reset my password and then sending me the 6 digit code that never came so a bit of a time waster.

Travel Insurance - easy and quick
Application online - really easy.
Two of us travelling - really easy to apply for travel insurance for both at the same time in one policy.
Different options for different excesses - really easy to pick what I wanted (ie to balance cost of the insurance v how much was the excess).
Pre-existing medical conditions - really easy, guided questions and all of our pre-existing conditions were included and could be covered (had to pay an extra fee).
Emails from SCTI before leaving reminding me of SCTI contact details and ability to update policy if required. And was easy to put the insurance policy number on the NZ government MFAT safe travel website.
Thankfully didn't have to make a claim - but was really good to know had it if required.

Proof is in the pudding
It’s difficult to rate a travel insurance product if you don’t have need to claim on it, which I didn’t.
Signing up for the insurance policy was simple and it seemed to be the best value product, and the App is handy to have.

Just knowing that I was covered …
Just knowing that I was covered was fantastic. Filling out the on-line form was easy to do.
I did not have to make a claim on this trip so unable to report on the claim side.
I did feel that the cost of the policy was a little on the high side ? Maybe they could look at if no claims were made you get a 20% refund ?
