The Heritage Jacket

I was looking forward to this jacket and I'm keeping it. It is a very pretty jacket, and it’s made of high-quality materials. It is lightweight, breathable, and as far as I can tell, it does well in the wet. However, there are several issues I have to highlight for prospective buyers:
• The pockets are woeful. You can’t fit your whole hands into the exterior pocket slits, much less any items into the exterior pocket itself, without morphing the look of the jacket. It can be a job removing any items comfortably, and I’m talking about basic keys. The chest pockets that are higher up are ‘alright.’
• The fit is small for an XL. This is an XL jacket that feels far more like an L. If you’re around 6 feet and stocky, good luck layering for the cold.
• The material is soft and comfortable but lacks durability, for example after a weekish of wear stitching around the chest pocket has already come noticeably undone. It doesn’t seem particularly rugged or tough - creases form quickly.
• Stitching issues. Apart from the stitching coming undone at the pocket there are also several few loose threads and stitching sticking out in places—not a massive issue, but for £100, I would expect better attention to detail.
• Compared to similar brands like Barbour, this falls short. They have more honest dimensions and better pocket space, making them far more practical for exploring.

For a jacket that is meant to be an emblem of heritage and adventure—calling to mind classic brands such as Camel—I wouldn’t take this through any real adventure. It falls short of the mark. As it stands, I would not recommend this jacket, especially for £100.

The Suede Premium Cap from Scuderia Sette is fantastic. The suede feels soft and luxurious, and the attention to detail in the design and craftsmanship is impressive. The brand clearly values quality, from the elegant packaging to their professional and friendly communication. A top-tier experience all around. Highly recommended!
