Just fly.. even the polar bears would agree it’s better

Two ferry’s in a row delayed by over 3hrs. No updates. No staff to help. You just wait at the ferry port and hope a boat arrives. Onboard is chaotic. No covid checks. No passport checks. Boat was storing about 50 barrels of fuel in the car dock with passengers in the hold as the boat left port. They did have a helipad which was cool but a staff member said it was for parts to be flown in when the boat broke down at sea 😂 Avoid..

I would recommend don’t use this company. We used it twice and our experience was horrible. The ferries are always late. They charge a premium as compared to other ferries. Please use blue star - we used these a few times and had a good experience.

Seajets will do anything to make your trip horrible

If i could give it 0 stars i would give it. Our trip is horrible. First they changed the departure time. Then when we were on board we waited 2 hours. Then they cancelled the trip due to a technical problem. then an hour later they said the problem was solved en that we could go again. Now we’re waiting 2 hours again in our seat without A/C. Hospitality of the SEAJET personal is also horrible.

Choose another company

Absolutely disgusting! Worst experience ever with a sea company! Our ship got delayed 3 times without us being told anything. We had to call their call center in order to discover that. If you need to travel between Greek Island choose another company

The one star is purely only for the staff

The one star is purely only for the staff because they did a great job.
It was super windy on our journey from Mykonos to Milos, the Seajet 2 boat was an hour late plus added an extra hour to the trip to stop at Sifnos. It was
to be 3 hours but ended up being 4hrs being stuck on a tiny fast old Ferry with a lot of people being sea sick. Worst travel experience of my life listening to people vomiting and having to smell it for 4 hours.
Staff were very friendly though and kindly helped people.
Why do they use these tiny ferries in bad weather?! They should really only use the big one which is called Worldchampion. We took that one from Athens to Mykonos and had no issues at all.
If you get sea sick - best to just book a slow Blue Star or other bigger ship.

Today Seajets managed to f*** up my day

Today Seajets managed to f*** up my day. It was supposed to leave Naxos at 11:40 - I had a flight at 15:45 from Mykonos and 11:40 + 40 min + 10min by taxi sounded just good.
I went to Naxos port at about 11:20 and waited in the sun. Waited, and waited ... at 12:00pm I have received an SMS saying that due to bad weather conditions and traffic Naxos to Mynokos with "Power Jet" will take place at 13:10 ! (13:10 instead of 11:20). My math sounded good - enough time . But in reality the ship leaved the port at 13:40 and arrived in Mykonos at 14:30. Took the best taxi driver ever (only 7 minutes from port to airport) but my gate was already closed. Now I'm spending my night in Mykonos (on my money) because of this company

So yeah. "the best ferry" in the world.

One of the worst boat experiences I’ve had. Delay of one hour, super old and uncomfortable boat, full of people during a pandemic and poor airconditioning. It was even the most expensive ticket. Please avoid !

Safety second at best

The company claims to comply with international and national laws, one of them is that no passenger can be in the garage area while the boat has shipped. And yet they had no issues leaving the port of Naxos and checking all the tickets at the garage area with falling luggage on people. I can cope with the 1000% delayed trip, i find it quite funny but this company is not safe to travel with!!!

Avoid at all cost! Unjustified delays

Waiting for over two hours for a ferry.
No explanation given.
All other companies were on time so it’s not weather, COVID, or any other explanation, it’s definitely company related and poor service.
No contact made with the clients , no other boat/option given.
Worst company possible. Disrespect beyond explanation.

Seajets sink in estimations!

Booked a ticket a month in advance, and 3 days before I travelled I received a text SMS saying they cancelled the ferry and put us on a new company ferry at a ridiculous time.
After contacting them by phone, there was no apology (nor in SMS) and they wouldn't even state the reason for cancellation. I am suspicious it wasn't cost effective with low passenger count and so didn't run it.
The excuse they gave was "sometimes technical issues occur." Well if technical issues occurred on this ferry, you would know and that would be the reason to cancel it, but you didn't state that.
Also, after the amazing ferryscanners changed my booking to a good time on Golden Star Ferries, I still received the SMS check-in notifications for the cancelled trip.
Pathetic! Will never book via them again.

Avoid at all cost!

Seajets cancelled our connection just two days in advance. Won't refund the ticket price even though obliged to by EU law.

Second connection from Milos to Paros one week later was 45 minutes late, because they had added an irregular stop at Sifnos without informing us in advance. So the people expecting us at Paros port had to wait unnecessarily. Also the temperature in the cabin was maybe 16° C. Most passengers were freezing, coming in from 27° C outside in shorts and short sleeves. Staff didn't really care.

Very understanding

After a complex period due to the health crisis, our trip had to be completely modified due to a lack of information regarding the necessary QR code in Greece. Seajets was particularly attentive to our requests and questions, unlike direct ferries. Thanks to Thomas Tzabazlis we were able to get a new ticket! Thanks again and Good luck

Yiannis is a credit to their team.

Naturally the pandemic is an awful time, and to be honest I don't think SeaJets has had a very customer-friendly policy. However, Yiannis continued to assist me over multiple weeks, taking ownership of my concerns and keeping me up to date with my enquiry. Whilst sadly I never got to travel with SeaJets in 2020, the customer service experience was enhanced by Yiannis' efforts and empathy towards my being a stressed traveller with a cancelled holiday.

Covid 19 profiteering

Refusing to issue a refund even after confirming during earlier correspondence that they would refund the ticket. Now instead offering 'credit notes' which I don't want since I don't live in Greece and don't plan on travelling there next year. Absolute disgrace and should be avoided like the plague.

Don't even bother

Don't even bother! Most unrelaxing experience I have ever had in my life! Came 45 minutes which meant 45 minutes less time on the islands and the crew are unprofessional and will not talk to you is you are a women.

Professionalism and your company never…

Professionalism and your company never met. Absolutely horrible experience. We had booked tickets from Sifnos to Piraeus for 9th of September. The ship arrival was delayed, with NON-EXISTENT information on how late and when will it arrive. WITHOUT NOTIFICATION the ship was replaced with another one (that made additional, non-reported in you tickets stops on the way) and our arrival at Piraeus was delayed for 2.5 hours. Our flight was missed and we had to spent the night at the airport and pay 500euros for new tickets. Throughout this adventure I called the SeaJets offices multiple times to receive the answer "Only written emails will be considered and answered within 2 working days", they have not answered in multiple emails and it has been 10++ working days now. Terrible company, as a Greek I am very sad that you are a company active within the Aegean. This type of behaviour and lack of respect for the clients I have never seen before. Never again.

Horrible! To avoid!!

Horrible!
Our trip from Paros to Milos has been cancelled two days in a row without any notification. When I tried to contact the client service for more information and options they advice me to go to a traveling agency on the port that was already closed.
When challenging the solution, the agent hang up on me without any respect and professionalism!
To avoid!! If you have any other option don’t pick seajets!!

Never on time.. lower your expectations.

We expect a fast ferry but we wait at the port around an hour extra every time.
What does it matter to pay extra to get a fast ferry and then it is late for an hour?

Expect Seajets to be 1 hour delayed.

The Ferry is also very very cold so remember to wear some warm clothes as well.

Let me share my experience with the…

Let me share my experience with the ferry company "sea Jets Ferry" and express my disapproval in the way that their team handled the series of events that occurred on July 17th, 2019. These events lead to my friends and I to not only miss our flight back home to the United States but leaving us stranded with nowhere to go. What began as a perfect end to a vacation in Greece ended in a horrific and traumatizing experience on your SeaJet Ferry from the port of Santorini to the Port of Piraeus in Athens. The day had already started off poorly when the scheduled 8:00am ferry had shown up to the port of Santorini 40 minutes late. Upon arrival we had noticed it wasn’t the standard size ferry we had taken prior. As the passengers on the ship started to disembark, passengers in the waiting area began to form a line to board ship. As my friends and I had our tickets collected we had asked a crew member what the estimated time of arrival would be and he had confirmed and ensured not only to us but others that the ship will arrive at 2:30pm back to Athens. The time of arrival was very crucial being that we had a flight scheduled for 5:35pm that same evening back to the United States. Emirates airline only flies out of Athens once a day and this is a flight that we had to be on. From the initial departure it had seemed we would be traveling at a rate that would get us to Athens on time but as we traveled further and further into the sea we started to notice it wasn’t going to be as smooth of a ride as we had thought. Rough waves had caused the ship to rock from side to side, the further we traveled the worse the waves got. Human bodies were being thrown all over the vessel due to the rocking and all the side to side motion had cause more than half of the passengers to vomit due to motion sickness. It had felt like my life was been in danger, passengers vomiting, children crying, luggage being tossed from one side to the other and crew members with a look of confusion and fear didn’t comfort anyone who was on that ship. As the ship went from port to port picking more passenger and unloading the ones on the boat to their final destination the circumstances on the ship never got better, only worse. Looking for reassurance we would constantly ask if we were on schedule to meet the 2:30pm scheduled arrival to port and every crew member would guarantee that the captain would get us to port on time as promised. As we traveled from port to port the smell of vomit had gotten worse, the look of fear had grown stronger and to make matters worse they had announced that the bathroom had been closed. Stuck on a rocking ship, with sick people, and closed bathroom people grew restless and with no immediate answer from any crew member we truly were stuck on the boat with no where to go. The clock had stuck 2:30pm and there was no sign of an end to the madness. We had informed crew members that we needed to catch a flight and it was crucial that we don’t miss this flight but yet again they had informed us that we would be arriving soon. The time then had struck 5:30 and still no signs of a port in sight. Finally around 6:30-7:00pm we had arrived to port in Athens with no answered as to why a scheduled 6 hour ferry ride had turned into a 10 hour catastrophe. A crew member eventually had informed us that the ship had driven around a storm but no prior announcements were made. Our names were put on a list and that SeaJet would do everything in its power to make sure we got to the airport and would help us resolve our missed flight issue with another flight. If it had been announced that it would take a longer route back to Athens we would have booked a flight from Santorini back to Athens to reassure that we would have made it on our flight, it would have been cheaper and faster to take this approach rather then being stuck on a ship.
Arriving late to the port had cost us €80.00 for a prescheduled taxi pick up which we got charged for and this was one of the many out of pocket expenses made that day. As we arrived to SeaJet offices they had informed us that the best they could have done for us was to get a free taxi ride to the airport, contrary to what was promised aboard the ship from other crew members. Even though we got a free taxi ride it was something we had to fight tooth and nail to get, it was not something they had initiated towards us it was something we had to fight to get. Once at the air port trying to catch the next flight out from Athens, the next available flight was the following day on July 18, 2019 at 5:35pm they had informed us that we would have to pay out of pocket for the flight costing us €721.00 per person. Also booking a room for the night at a local hotel had cost us €91.00 per person on top of the taxis we had to pay to get from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport again the following day. This is all additional cost to our vacation that should not have been spent if it was not for the incompetence of the captain and the SeaJet organization.

At the end of the day if we were not lied to multiple times by crew members of our arrival time we could have easily just booked a flight to the island to catch our flight or even call our airline to tell them we wont make it or will be late and not have to pay a 720 dollar fee for missing our flight.. the crew members refused to give us WI FI and the bathroom were locked for 5 hours plus. One crew member wrote our names down as well and nothing was done after that.
I emailed seat jets company and tried to contact this company about being compensated of some sort and have had no responses back
