Everything went well with my order delivered on time when they said it would the only thing that did go wrong was my fault not giving my mum the right password but that only shows the man was doing his job properly delivered the next day with the right password

This is a very poor programme

Today, 25/11/25 I have received an email from TrustPilot saying that Second Nature need more information to verify my review!! I have given 2 feedbacks to the Head of the coaches, stating that my coach told me not to post in the group chat and that I have found it all to be very unhelpful. I have gained half a stone since joining the programme. They have no recipes for snacks. I have to use the programme via my laptop as I cannot follow it on the mobile and it didn't seem to work properly. I haven't found the programme to be helpful yet. When I raised concerns with the health coach via the private message she told me just to join other groups as they might help me more!! It is not helpful to be on a programme with a health coach who wants to talk about going running and other things she has done over the weekend, including going to the theatre, when you are 14plus stone and struggle to walk down the street!!! They now want me to provide details so that they can 'verify' my review here! This is just beyond annoying. I personally have not felt this programme is helpful in supporting me to lose any weight at all, but the 2 others who did talk in the group chat (there are meant to be 38 in our group!!!!) seem to have had a very positive experience. It would appear to me that those struggling or with negative responses are silenced, just as in this review. The programme does seem to be heavily automated by AI and it is not clear who is actually involved in all of this. I have not found it helpful at all but others may do.

This is a very poor programme. The programme asks you to log your mood daily, but the help video's remain the same and are not helpful at all. The coach we have is only interested in 'positive posts' and even told me not to post in the group chat because my posts were too long and it put other people off. The coach talks about what she has done on the weekends and only 2 people in the group respond to her. Recipes are for family's despite the fact that I live on my own since being widowed. I give feedback on this, but the advice is to batch cook and freeze, something I never do, nor do I intend to. The recipes are mostly food I wouldn't eat as I am a very simple eater. They don't put snacks on there, to avoid turning to crisps, biscuits etc., which is frustrating. The health coach is a runner and really into health food, and when I am the complete opposite I don't think that works at all. I have put on half a stone since starting the programme, which really isn't helpful at all. Very frustrating and unhelpful.

Second nature not fulfilling promise to NHS patients!

Second Nature took over service from Morelife in April 2025. I was told that they would continue the service I had with Morelife.
I had to start my Morelife journey in September 2023 being told that there was no Wegovy available in the country but that I had to start on the program in September or i would be removed from their list. I was concerned that their program was a 24 month program and that i would only be starting the injections part way through the course - their Doctor confirmed that the 2 year course of injections would continue for the complete 24 months regardless of when the course attendance began. Second Nature took over in April 2025. From day 1 they had the prescription date wrong and i had to email their operative each month and change the date on the app.
Suddenly in October 2025 they email telling me that i am now finished the course and the injections!! Apparently according to them their 24 month course started when the course began in September 2023 ignoring the fact that there was no Wegovy in the available to the NHS in the country for 6 months. Therefore my (and many others) treatments have been cut to 18 month course.
Despite many emails and App conversations they are failing in their customer support and the NHS!
Disgusted!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your frustration with how your programme has concluded.

We can see from our previous correspondence that this situation has been very disappointing for you, particularly given the information you received from your previous provider about your programme end date.

When we took over the service in April 2025, we worked closely with the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) in your area, who commission this service, to clarify the programme parameters for all patients transferring to our care. The ICB confirmed that the tier 3 specialist weight management programme is two years in duration from the programme start date, regardless of when medication prescribing begins.

We understand this differs from what you were told by your previous provider, and we're genuinely sorry for the confusion and disappointment this has caused. As a provider, we are required to deliver the service in line with the NHS ICB’s specifications, and unfortunately we’re not able to extend programmes beyond the commissioned two-year period.

We'd encourage you to speak with your GP about ongoing support for your weight management journey, and wish you all the best with your continued health goals.

A Sherman Tank of Pre conceived ideas

I have been pre-diabetic for a number of years even though I have never been overweight and cook my mostly vegan meals from scratch (which I have done all my life). I had a conversation with my GP as I wanted to know if there was anything else I could be doing, e.g. fasting, that would help and she said there was a programme that was being offered. I honestly thought I was going to have the opportunity to talk to a human being where I explained where I am right now and could be offered ideas that formed the next step from there.

Instead I find myself on a programme that assumes that I am overweight and stuffing myself with ultra processed food at every opportunity. It is riddled with all the same advice none of which is useful to me because I already do all of that and it has not made any difference. And in addition I am now expected to Meal Plan and share this with the app which is a load of extra work with no gain to me. I don't need to learn to plan my healthy diet as I already have one. I don't need to be lectured about sugar intake as I don't have and never have had a sweet tooth. I already eat whole grain versions of everything, plenty of pulses and complex carbs and plenty of fruit and vegetables. Maybe there are tasty recipes but I already follow people who regularly share healthy tasty recipes.

If you need advice beyond the bog standard, this programme is not for you. I'm going to give the 5:2 diet a go and see if that makes a difference. I have no idea what to do about this app I've signed up to. I have received a standard email from my health coach but that's no reply at so I guess the Sherman Tank is just going to roll on....

I suspect the GPs are being obliged to sign up everyone who is pre-diabetic but this is my time not yours, courtesy over time wasting works both ways, thank you.

Feels trustworthy.

The app is easy to navigate and there is lots of support to help build healthy habits. It doesn’t feel like a short term fix, definitely helping me to make long lasting changes.

Very happy customer …

I have been very happy with the service I have had from Second nature , the medicine is delivered every month in a plain cardboard box ,well wrapped and they are there for support any time, I have managed to loose 10lb in six weeks its the best decision I have ever made.

Great programme

Having done a number of diet and weight loss programmes and classes, I can easily say that Second Nature is far superior to the others. The principles of the programme are sensible and achievable. The support is great - both the direct contact with your health coach and the group chat. The app interface is intuitive and ease to use. I used Second Nature previously and lost weight, I then joined again on the medication supported programme which is going really well. You are supported through every step and have the option of speaking with a pharmacist if required. When I initially considered using the medication I had a call with someone from second nature and I was pleasantly surprised as there was no sales pitch just space to ask all the questions I wanted to. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending second nature.

Fantastic support from Second Nature

I have experienced such incredible support and motivation for my weight loss journey from Second Nature. Every member of the team is friendly, professional and only a call away if needed. They check in on me every week, sometimes more. I wished I hadn't struggled on for years on my own and had contacted them sooner. Now I feel I can achieve my goals!

Second Nature care about our well being.

A good friend of mine introduced me to Second Nature and after completing the questionnaire and sent the information required, I was signed up and received the mediation in no time. I started on Mounjaro on 1st October 2025. I am a regular gym user, I eat healthily yet I could not shed the 8 kgs I have been trying to lose for the past couple of years. In one month, I lost 5 kgs, fortunately, I did not have to change my diet as everything that's recommended on the programme I had been following for years. All I needed was to reduce my portions, and as soon as I embarked on the programme, it was plain sailing because it curtailed my appetite. Just 3 more kgs to go and I'm hopeful I will achieve this before Christmas.

New Lifestyle

About 5 years ago I started on the Second Nature program, I found it the most effective way to lose weight and felt so much better, then life got in the way and I gradually put it back on ! This time I am doing it with the help of medication . I know the medication is not magic but has reduced my appetite and with the recipes, guidance of a coach, and daily articles I am confident I will reach my goal

I have used Second Nature before and…

I have used Second Nature before and was pleased to transfer across from a Private GP prescribed Mounjaro as cheaper and more support. I had hoped that the group would be more people like me who had been using MJ for some time however most group interactions and the programme itself is for people who are just starting out.

Not what is says on the tin

I am going through it now. You’re honestly not on the right program! Everything is written so no as promised one to one. So you’re on your own . I now know two people who believe much is AI! So you ask as questions and it can take three days for a reply. So what I’m now doing is using facebook. There is huge help and far more support to genuine questions. So you get scales and a cook book. I need edification and support! If that’s you don’t waist your time and the health authorities money. It’s a sign up and then read and read and yes ready. No one to talk to at any time! So if you believe you’re going to get support from an expert forget it. You ask a question on a Thursday and get a reply on the next Monday. So you’re not getting three months not even one month of support. Absolutely cash machine exploiting the vulnerable

Now look at the reply carefully! 48 hours to reply. Can you now see the true extent of the problems? If whilst joining up we sign an agreement to stick with it which I am ! Then you understand you’re not getting what they promised. That professional that they promised is not there. It’s a complete sham! So yes I’m sticking with it but there is no way this is right. You are not supported! You’re on your own and left to read. No humans to talk to
