Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the website, encountering issues like error codes and a general feeling of sketchiness. Customers frequently report problems with the pricing structure, finding the site extremely expensive due to the credit system required for every interaction. Additionally, the payment process itself was a source of frustration, with unexpected charges and difficulties purchasing credits. Reviewers also expressed significant dissatisfaction with the response time from the company, often receiving no replies to their inquiries. However, some customers also noted that they had met genuine individuals through the site and believed some profiles were real. A few other people also felt that the site still had genuine members, and some had even made good connections, though they acknowledged that the percentage of real profiles seemed to be decreasing.

Plenty of good looking and seemingly…

Plenty of good looking and seemingly genuine young women on SB however its a total scam to encourage you to buy more credits.
You'll get messages from lots of women but when you reply (and use credits) they dont reply.
Don't waste your money on this useless site.

This site is a total scam

This site is a total scam,I am not new to SD sites, they make you buy credits, then to view photos, read a message you have to use your credits, so they get fake profiles and bots to grant you access to albums and message you to read, once you spend the credit on reading the messages and viewing the albums, there will be no reply, just wasted $200 there, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I have been off and on Secret Benefits

I have been off and on Secret Benefits. From my experiences I have never encountered anything but real women. I gave it a 4 because. . .
It bares informing and repeating: to stress that it is imperative with this site and similar off the main stream sites: DO NOT attempt, yes attempt, to use your debit card or credit card. Your bank and credit card company will likely block the transaction for good reason. The payment processor based in this case, Ireland, are notorious for fraud, stealing data and money. My suggestion is to use a debit service, such as Western Union. Transfer only what you intend to use at the time, leaving a residual to keep the account open. Don't even get a plastic card, just the number. In doing so provides another layer of privacy.
To those who wonder about this 'sugar daddy' site, many of the women are actually looking for a man who respects her, and is willing to share happy times and emotions that may from time to time include a small amount of help and niceties that equal little more than what you would provide for a family or girlfriend. And many other women are very descriptive about their want and need for a true sugar daddy. I encountered both and negligible bots.

This site is full of chatbots

This site is full of chatbots. Don't be fooled by the "verified" members. They charge credits for EVERYTHING. You will waste hundreds of dollars for a handful of conversations with bots and fakes. There are far better SB/SD sites out there. This one is a massive waste of time and money.

Bots and bots and more bots

Bots and bots and more bots - 1 out of 2,300 profiles are real. Don’t get me wrong, the photos are real, but the profiles are not.

The platform is designed to get you to buy credits to respond to these bots.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. You get absolutely loads of messages, and when you reply, about 90% of the time, you get no response.and while you are checking for any replies, you get new messages. You can burn through hundreds of £££ in hours. Probably lucky if 5% of the female profiles are genuine

Harassment and Solicitation

Was being harassed by two men on SB. One was impersonating another man and the other was soliciting which I called him on it. Next thing I know my profile is deleted and told I can’t even have an explanation as to what happened. Horrible site.

Allows soliciting, ban you if you complain

Response to questions/complaint is to delete your account.
Asked what they were doing to prevent men from sending women distasteful messages and openly soliciting women since I wasn't allowed to write on my profile I wasn't looking for that and they deleted my account!
Absolute joke! No attempt to help protect women or stop people breaking the law

Folks this is a scam site.
you'll get hundreds of messages from bots and fake accounts designed to burn your credits. We even tried it with an empty profile with no pictures and little details and the profile got flooded with messages from admirers. Save your money.

Massive disappointment

I've met people through this in the past but recently (the last few months) it has been a massive disappointment. Out of 20 messages I only received 3 replies, and they were from timewasters and flakes. It's hard to avoid the conclusion that a lot of these profiles are just 'bait' and not for real. Some have been around for years with exactly the same photos and details.

UPDATE 29/08/2024: To their credit, staff did promptly refund my last payment in response to my review. They did however delete my account without notice. It would have been nice to have been forwarned so that I could copy my text for future use.

SCAM ALERT!

SCAM ALERT!! So I used this site for few weeks and I thought It was pretty good. Then when I purchase credits in order to read and write msgs from people. Out of the 9 women that I paid to be able to msg each one, I’m talking I only replied to the ones that liked me and wrote me. Only one responded and when I asked what was up with site. She fills me in on the site having bs profiles, that I had to “sift out the bs ones”. I wasn’t aware of that scam so I complained explained how I learned of the scam so got refund and was even going to be smart about it the second time bc I knew the scam.
But the site removes me entirely and locks my account out. So I have to be ok with being scammed in order to keep my account I guess. Then deleting my account bc I figured out the scam is a terrible way to keep something like this quiet. I hope all these Asian scam dating sites and these sites get shut down. Save you time and money.

Very expensive SCAM

I am a female and have experienced terrible mistreatment from this SB website. I believe this is because SB is aimed at taking as much money as possible from men. I was on the website for a few days. During this time I started conversations with a few men. They had to pay SB to be able to talk to me. The fee is between £2.40 and £4.60 per member who wants to talk to a female member. Price depends on the dollar exchange rate (most odd that all their transactions are in US dollars?) also it depends on how many credits a man buys at once. 100 credits he pays about £46, for 1000 credits this becomes £226. To begin a conversation with a female he has to pay SB 10 credits. So for £46 a man can start only 10 conversations. Taking into consideration that SB create many fake profiles it means that many times the man receives no answer and his money is wasted. SB say that all following conversations with the same female are free. So SB make no more money from that conversation! Therefore it is in their business interest to keep starting new conversations. So in my case, without giving any reason why, they deleted my account. I have no idea what happened to my personal information including pictures as I have no way of accessing the account not that my deletion would make me believe they didn't keep them of course. The few people who paid to start conversations with me are suddenly left with no one there only the information that the account has been closed, or something similar. They possibly think that I was being unfair and just got bored and closed my account they will never realise it was SB that cheated on them. I lost my chance for nice meetings, maybe even lifechanging adventures, but these men lost money and now they will pay again for new conversations until SB has taken as much money as possible from them.
I copy below the email that I received from SB which shows how they gave no explanation for the closure of the account. A further point is that I have reason to believe that SB monitor all private conversations, which in my opinion is quite disgusting, who knows what sick reasons they have for monitoring and no doubt recording everything people discuss with each other. Below is the email I received:
Hi there,
Your profile has been found to be in breach of our Terms, and as such it has been removed and we aren’t able to let you continue using the site.
For privacy and security reasons we’re unable to provide you with further information.
Thanks for your understanding.

Secretbenefits: scam

Secretbenefits and its sister website, sugardaddy, are both scams even though they do on occasional yield real results. I have been a sugardaddy for many years and have met younger women using seeking.com and secretbenefits.com, but it is clear that SD and SB both scam the men, unlike seeking. Men will receive messages from lots of girls who then never respond to replies. Only some girls are genuine. I complained about secretbenefits 8 months ago and they gave me an instant refund of 3 x 200 credits and deleted my profile. I then created an account on sugardaddy but a few weeks later, on seeing exactly the same pattern of 'credit harvesting' to burn my money, I send an identical message to several of the girls asking "why do so many girls not reply after they initiated a conversation? It feels like a scam. If you are a genuine sugarbaby I would like to hear more from you". An hour later I got a message from the website saying "I would be refunded and deleted because I had complained previoiusly". I used a different email address/domain for SD/SB but they still connected me. Suspiciously after I wrote supposedly private messages to girls. Are they monitoring messages?

Basically the fake messages simply harvest 10 credits each time, and only a small fraction are genuine messages from girls who will converse after your reply. This is why any website with a pay-per-message policy rather than a monthly subscription is a scam. It is so easy to abuse with fake/automated messages.

3 yrs assessment - Fake Profiles, Bots and Scams

This site could have been legit but there are so many things not right. I have been a member over 3 years now.

1. More than half are fake profile and bots. Either they will respond to you with a short note and then no response back and you just lost your credit for viewing the message. Or you write to someone and 7 out of 10 no response.

2. The profiles recirculate and folks I have seen 3 years ago, would disappear for 6 month and would show up again. Some showed up annually like clockwork. In several years the age remains the same and didn’t increase lol.

3. If you get lucky, 8 out of ten just wants to scam you and wants money for meet, uber ride, dinner plan, nails done and then there is no show as you may have sent a good faith fund to help with babysitter or uber ride. 2 would actually be legit and they too have alternate motive but its how to set the expectations.

4. If you report scam, you dont often get your credit back.

I think they hired a 3rd party marketing team to boost membership and at the backend all sort of fake profile and bots are build to generate attraction but you can be sure that you will get seldom response back. I had over 2500 credits and have done extensive engagement and to be honest got maybe 8 connection who were legit out of 100s. There are some legit users there and this is how I now play the game.

I like someone, I request additional photo access. A bot can auto approve photo request. But I look to see if the bot did my page visit and also if they requested the same. 8 out 10 they do not and I know its a fake profile. I also wait to see if I get a message, if not then that confirms my theory as well.

Fake user/bot also sends new message. If they haven't visited your page and you get a message, that to me is a red flag as well.

I also typically wait few days to respond to the message and wait to see user online activity. In most cases they will show last seen 2+ days ago and that is another indicator of fake profile/bot.

I wouldn't waste my time here and it would be cheaper to go to a bar and buy drinks for stranger and make friends. Oh also, this site is branded into other different names and not just SB. They can easily read your messages and I would be very cautious of your interactions on the site which they can use against you. If you do get a legit person, exchange offline via txt. Get a google voip number for free and use it.

Good luck and save your $$. I spent a lot with not much success. Oh and the positive review you see here, most likely the fake users and bots accounts made it possible. I won’t be surprised if suddenly you see some positive review on Trustpilot with all stars in a short while to balance the negative. There would have been tons more negative review but just like they offered me credits to take the review down, they offered others and folks happily did it to get credit back or refund back in exchange. I was selfish and took the deal in the past and took my reviews down. I went against my Bro code.

I wonder if anyone filed a complain with BBB and actually audit and investigate the legitimacy of the site and their policy .... hummmm … it may not help as this is not even onshore and offsite in a non extradition country maybe. Read their terms and condition and you will see what I am saying.

UPDATE July 19 - SB contacted me and based on the reviews in the past , they offered some credit to my ac and asked me to take the reviews down. I did and provided feedback for improvement s. I had since purchased over $500 worth credit and had 900 some credit as of last night and today they closed the account based on my latest review you see now. Which is fine but they owe me money-back. This would be another flag on how accurate the feedback is. See email screenshot lol… if I don’t get my refund , I am filing a BBB complain.

UPDATE July 20 - They honored the refund and gave me $289.32 back as a bitcoin transfer.

Mostly women wanting money with nothing…

Mostly women wanting money with nothing in return. Generation of “participation trophies.” Site itself only cares about extracting the maximum amount of $$ they can from men. Their manipulation is dubious at best.

I have been on site for 2 months and…

I have been on site for 2 months and I’ve had women send me a message and I respond immediately and they never respond back why? Lots of fakes and here’s how to tell they are fake. They will admire you then send you a request to see private pictures (which you didn’t ask for and cost you money) then they give to access to questions which you didn’t ask for and cost you money. Then when I ran out of credits I received 20 messages. Totally bogus. I’m staying with escorts because it’s much more fun and cheaper.

Full of fakes

Altho customer service refused to answer my question three times, i suspect most of the ‘messages’ sent from women are actually chatbot generated from the site itself. I would often pay to open their message but would not get a response. That makes no sense i would continually get that many messages with no responses (if the women arent interested, they wouldnt send a message in the first place).
I also suspect many of the profiles are fake.
Try it out if you want to throw away a few hundred dollars for nothing, but remember i warned you.

Update: Definitely a Scam...Pretty sure it is a scam

Pretty sure it is a scam. There are real women signing up as I have seen a few I know from other sites, and personal experience in real life, but you are never actually connected. I paid the fee, supposedly for unlimited messaging once you unlocked a profile, but you never get a response....even if they message you first, you respond immediately, and then nothing.
