PRASANNA
Prasanna is very helpful each time our team chats with him. We get 100 % support from him.
Verification process needs a lot more transparency
The verification process is not transparent and support is awful, I was asked to provide a passport or driving license for a commercial property.
Every time I have a new problem, one year they asked me to put the CEO's mobile phone on an Internet directory so their undocumented processes could be completed.
Some of the support team are useful, but the service is so USA focused its like they don't understand other countries have different services or government organisations.

Best experience
I came in contact with SECTIGO 3 years ago, when we changed our CA provider from SSL247 to SECTIGO.
SECTIGO provided us a dedicated service manager, Matteo Guttilla, that always followed us in every change or update of our certificates; he's always available to help and to provide us every kind of information we need to have.
This is how SECTIGO professionals are and works.
Matteo Guttilla is the best
Very positive experience for renewing SSL certificates. Matteo is very helpful and very good at explanations. Fantastic support

Scam all along, avoid at all costs
This is the most unprofessional, borderline/outright scam company I've ever had to deal with.
TL;DR: No step of the process was smooth, no communication, they just take your money then do absolutely nothing. We solved it by going for one of their competitors. Still waiting for a refund from them.
After ordering a code-signing USB token from them and paying, we spent 2 weeks explaining to them that the phone number they had was not the correct one, despite the correct one being displayed on every major website (Google for example), they downright refused to call us there for weeks. Once the validation process was validated, we were told that our code-signing USB token had been sent and was on its way to our company. After enquiring further and fighting with their support for a bit, they explained to us that we had already picked it up, only to realise that the proof of picking-up they sent us was concerning a totally different company we had never heard of, that wasn't even in the same country... They promised us that they had corrected that and sent the correct one instead, but we still don't have any proof of that to this day. We went for one of their competitor who validated us and solved everything in 5 days, then asked for a refund here. It's been 2 months, we're still waiting for a refund, despite their saying it would take 2 to 3 days...

Scam service
I bought an S/MIME certificate and immediately after the purchase, various errors began to appear on the site, after communicating with support it turned out that after payment I had to provide documents, okay, we did everything, then we needed to verify the phone number, but it’s not as easy as you think they want so that we add it to the DUNS database, fortunately we have it and Apple helped us with data updates, everything is ok, we sent it to them as they said last step, then it started, call us, although before that we asked DUNS, it’s not fast, let’s verify it in another way, they didn’t offer anything, so they say wait a week for now DUNS will update you and they won’t make any request for a refund either, they say it’s an error that the certificate was not issued.

Their support is really bad
Their support is really bad. We bought an SSL certificate (a premium SSL) from Namecheap. It was pending for a very long time; when I reached out to Namecheap, I was told to reach out to them. Firstly, their chat with an expert does NOT work. Each time I use it, it ends with none of the experts available. I sent them countless emails without any response. They only responded once, the first time, and never replied to all my follow-up emails.

Not what they advertise - Takes weeks to get a cert
Two Weeks, Still No Certificate
UPDATE (8/14/2023)
Still no refund.
UPDATE (08-09-23)
Got an update from support asking why I requested a refund.
UPDATE (08-08-23)
No update from support on my tickets. Questions didn't get answered the cert was never issued. Refund requested.
UPDATE (08-02-23)
Received a question from support, "Thank you for writing us. We could not find the order number , please get back to us with the exact order number to proceed further."
UPDATE (08-01-23)
Received an email indicating they unsuccessfully tried to call my client. I provided our time zone and asked them to call back during office hours.
UPDATE (08-01-23)
Received an email from sectigo staff letting me know they called my client. Apparently, one of the other employees, certificate requestors answered before owner got back into the office. My reply to support went unanswered. No certificate yet.
UPDATE (07-29-23)
Received email request from support to take a photo of client holding ID up to their face to validate the certificate.
UPDATE (07-28-23)
After posting a support ticket, I received an automated confirmation email. Still no reply to support ticket. Zero communication. I've decided to follow the advice of others to write a letter to the FCC, FTC and State Attorney. Reduced 5 star to 3 star.
UPDATE
I ordered the cert on Friday (07-21-23). Site says 24/7 support so I thought at latest I hear back by Monday. Nothing. So I went back to the robot chat and they asked for a photo id of account owner. They could have asked for this on Friday morning. Perhaps it was my mistake for asking if this could be done in an hour? Get your cert anywhere. There's no integrity here. Still no word back after 5 days.

Jolene was super helpful. He tried a couple things, answered some tough questions and put me in touch with Kevin so we could try a test for a unique encryption need.
Many thanks to these guys and SSL.com
Waiting for EV Code Token since 3 weeks
Orderid 1661830146 is pending in status 'Certificate Issuance' since 3 weeks. By each phone call the issue got higher priority, unfortunately no certificate was sent. The EV code signing certificates got password issues after the computer sleeps. The number of retries is 3. This should lock the token for few hours, but not lock it or delete the token, as in my case.
We issued the certificate # 1602692322…
We issued the certificate # 1602692322 at the end of June. Validation of this order took a month. Unfortunately, there was a problem was a token from our side and Sectigo support asked us to purchase a new certificate. We placed a new order # 1672833149 at 27th of June and until now the certificate is still in progress. Guys, you take a such big price for these certificates and even can't re-use the data from the previous certificate to validate a new one for more than a month? Seriously? It is the worst support I ever seen. Chat/phone support each time say that the certificate will be issued shortly. But issuance never happens.
Lack of chips for delivery devices
According to their validation team they say that delays in receiving our certificate are being blamed on the global chip shortage and Sectigo does not have enough devices to send out the certificates. It would be nice to at least get a truthful response back if this is really the issue rather than the promise that I received on the 14th July that it would be available for the 17th. Today I was asked for the representatives name on the call on the 17th which I don't have only to be told that they don't give out surnames and there are lots of representatives. I would have thought that Sectigo should be logging this information anyway. The problem for us now is that we can't get any updates of our products out of the door. Maybe before ordering from these companies find out that they have the ability to deliver before you make the order.
Very quick and perfect resolution.
