BEST/CHEAPEST/QUICKEST!

I am an American Journalist and Book Author living in Australia and before comGateway, I've had a terrible time finding a reliable, honest shipping venue from US to AU. The last place I used stole a bunch of my items. The place before that, "accidentally" double-charged me for a Fed Ex shipment, and the other places that I tried were very expensive and so slow at getting out my shipments from US to AU. How lucky do I feel to have found comGateway?! Like I've just won the Shipping Lottery! Their prices are fair and reasonable, they pack combined shipments with care to detail and my shipments arrive quickly; usually within 8 business days after I've shipped. I highly recommend comGateway to everyone in Australia looking for an honest, reliable, reasonably priced, quick shipping venue.

Don't use - high prices, poor customer service

This is my second order via ComGateway and what a rip off. They charge by volume not weight so I am being charged for 4kg when my package does not even weight 1kg. On top of that they charge all these extra 'surcharges, fees, taxes' so it is costing me over $100 US to ship something that is not even 1kg. I have been around in circles with customer support who say they can reduce the shipping but nothing has changed and all they have done is waste weeks of my time with generic emails going back and forth. The live chat is never available. I would not recommend and will never use again. Ridiculously high prices and poor customer service.

Totally would always go back to…

Totally would always go back to comgateway, I have tried a few more sites but nothing beats great services this site offers. They do not only offer the cheapest shipping charges, but they also deliver items right on time and if you're lucky enough your items could also be delivered to you earlier than the date its supposed to arrive to your doorstep. They make sure that your items are all safe and sound when it gets to you! so I am one of the many happy customers from this site!

website is user friendly

My first shipping was a good experience. Shipping costs were reasonable and the delivery was fast considering that it was an international shipment. Their people are also nice and approachable ++ their website is user friendly so I didn't have a hard time checking out my parcel.

Great service, excellent deals

Offers a good service! I was hesitant in using their service as it was my first time shipping from US and using their service but the website provided enough instructions to make shopping experience a good one. Although shipping fees can be bit high, it somehow equates to the quality of service. They also offer ideas of what to buy in their website which I believe to be useful for me. When there were a problem with my shipment, they were accountable for their mistake and able to correct it and give proper compensation. So far, my experience with them is smooth and I will continue using their service to my next purchases.

My first US shopping journey.

I am not one to write reviews but I was one happy customer receiving the sneakers of my dream. I am one that loves customization which you can't find in my country the Philippines. I am so happy to try it as a birthday gift to myself ordering customized sneakers and having them delivered to the address comGateway provided. A very fun and thrilling experience and I even asked them to secure it with bubbly wraps, they comply easily and for free!

They closed my account and claimed to…

They closed my account and claimed to be returning my items to merchant, but until now its still not returned. Provided my ID proof, bank statement, proof of transaction of the item bought, and still told me my account is compromised. Contacted my merchant and they say my item is deemed as delivered. They did not receive anything. Scam! Beware
Its 8k USD not 8 USD. I contacted you multiple time.

Horrible customer service.

Horrible customer service.

They mislead and overcharge at every turn.

Do not use!

I did reach out to you on multiple occasions,
I spoke for hours to your customer service dept who admitted you had done the wrong thing, but once a refund had to be processed a different dept got involved and we went back to square one.
The reply to my initial review is disingenuous.

Once again do not use this shipping company.

Have been using comgateway since 2021

Have been using comgateway since 2021, one of the reasons I’m sticking with them and not other forwarders is because their customer service always pulls through! Delivery is really quick too, with DHL as the last mile courier. Nothing but praises for CGW!

Delays after delays

This is my 2nd review on Comgateway. After waiting 5 business days for them to assign my packages to my account, I requested Content Verification for 2 packages. I specifically requested pictures of the Brand labels, wash care and size labels and price tags as I needed to authenticate the dress before shipping it out.
As mentioned on their website, this process would take 1-2 business days and I will have to pay $5 for each package.
After 3 whole business days, I received 2 pathetic pictures for my 2 packages which only showed a little bit of the dress, that's all!
Once again I contacted Live Chat, and was told that they would request another contact verification for me. Today is the 3rd business day again and I am still waiting for my pictures. Best part is, my returns window for this dress was on the 9th of March!
I wonder, will Comgateway compensate me USD$942 if this dress turned out to be fake since their delay caused me to miss the return window frame?
Seriously, 2 whole weeks my packages have been with them and all I am getting is a whole load of crap service!
Even their customer service is useless! They don't follow up, I have to keep chasing them for updates!

I just used Skypax UK, their service was excellent! Next I will try Skypax USA. Its about time people start considering other service providers. Definitely cannot count on Comgateway anymore!

Challenges with BuyForMe and an unreasonable lock-in

Used Comgateway (CGW) to make a couple of BuyForMe (BFM) orders on some limited edition games. Processing went through quickly and I was hopeful.

On the release date of BFM #1, double checked with customer support - was told they were expecting delivery soon. A few more days later, the order was unexpectedly cancelled. I struggle to see how can there be such a mismatch in terms of status (from expecting delivery to cancellation). To be fair to CGW, refund was processed pretty swiftly.

As BFM #2 release date approached, I found it missing from my Order History / Order Updates. Emailing customer support got me the usual unhelpful response. What came next should not be a surprise, the order was cancelled. Despite presenting evidence from the financial institution that issued my credit card regarding the change of card numbers (entirely outside of my control), CGW insisted they could only refund to the now defunct card number or credit me with CGW$. I proposed a refund to the card used for BFM #1 but that was rejected.

CGW - put yourself in my shoes, how could I accept a store / system credit when every transaction so far has not been successful to me? I am sure you have encountered situations where a refund to the original card is not possible. The system may be rigid but I trust that you have the people who can help make things right for me.

Terrible - Made to pay twice...

Terrible, for the second time recently I went through the CG consolidation process, paid to have all my items shipped (haha) and then get told two days later one item didn't get included (insert excuse by them here) so I then had to pay again..
This time I've closed my account and I'd warn others about them.
Oh and when I wrote to them, no care, no real apology so I assume this is just a way for getting revenue up...

Very unprofessional low quality service

Very unprofessional buying service and freight forwarder. Have consistently had problems with them handling my orders incorrectly. Not responsive at all to their 'live chat', no response 90% of the time during their stipulated business hours. Constantly have to ask them for updates to orders. Their BuyForMe service is also so slow that they don't even attempt to buy items until they are long sold out.

In addition to all that, now today they opened three brand new limited edition collectible figures and removed them from their sealed packaging simply to take a photo of said items... why?! It's the same exact figure set, and they opened them all!?! Now I fear they have also done this to all my other collectible figures still in their warehouse!

Update to my current issue stated above: Got a canned response from their customer service claiming they didn't open the items... when their very own photos show they did. Their reply was a copy and paste and completely ignored my questions about all the other figures I still have at their warehouse. Looks like they have screwed me over big time, and I suspect intentionally!

Poor customer care

I engaged their services for 2 years. The options for items self collections (pick up/locker) are since gone lately. Time after time, shipments after shipments- Their customer services have not done me a single helpful thing! Not even making a request to the courier on behalf. Only hearing conflicting statements, empty words and promises in god knows when...

I got a quote for $80 shipping and paid…

I got a quote for $80 shipping and paid $6 to lock in that quote. once the package arrived it took a week to process they said 1 day then re-packed the item and charged me $30 tax and $22 Surcharge for repacking even though they guaranteed no additional repacking fees for the $6 fee I paid to lock in shipping rates. they also made up insurance cost later so my total cost after $86 to lock in pricing was $132 (Super untrustworthy and more expensive than shipping from the vendor or via other competitor websites by about double the price) scammers. Use to be great 5 years ago but comgateway has gone into scam mode now they lost so much market share. AVOID the pain use another service.

Great Service provided by the team at Comgateway!

Really great service provided by Jane and the rest of the Comgateway team. The online chat platform really helps put the buyer at ease that actions are being carried out in case of any issues. All the agents that I have contacted through the chat platform were extremely patient and helpful, and are able to provide sound advice in regards to shipping!

I have not tried other forwarding services, however, definitely will not be trying other forwarding services anytime soon!
