Extremely bad service. Their salesman promised that it would operate in all the currencies/countries we required, which turned out not to be true. This was only discovered after enormous effort by our software team to integrate the system into our web site. Strongly advise against using this company

Due to a webshop project in Denmark, my only possibility was using Ogone as a Gateway (I did hope do be able to use a danish gateway, but that wasn't possible - at that time).

My experience with ogone.com isn't the best:
- The "customer" service speak a poorly english;
- It's difficult to hear what they are saying (are they sitting in a crowded call center?);
- If I want an e-mail replied, I have to write them over and over again;
- When they finally answer, they don't answer what I did ask about;
- The "customer" service doesn't seem to know what third part websites, they have an agreement with;
- Activation price and payment fee are high.

The day I saw I could use the danish ePay gateway, I got really happy. After 2 mails with them (it took 24 hrs totally), I was a happy user of the ePay gateway.

Very disappointed in my Ogone experience. Poor customer service- rude and unhelpful. Failure to take responsibility for misgivings on their part. Bug in their system caused multiple refunds to a customer- was told in a rude manner it was not their fault and nothing they could do. Lengthy delay in payment processing, same error occurred multiple times. Zero communication from account manager- even when advised we were terminating contract. High account charges for little/ no service on their part. Have now moved to Sage pay- much better provider!!
