We reported an urgent issue with our…
We reported an urgent issue with our CCTV system on Thursday, yet a technician only attended on Tuesday, which is unacceptable for a security-related problem.
During the visit, we were told that the DVR and two cameras needed to be replaced and that a report would be shared. No report or follow-up was ever provided, and the system remains non-operational.
To make matters worse, despite the issue not being caused by us, we were later sent a quotation of £2,341.98 for the replacement of the DVR and cameras. This came without any written explanation, fault report, or justification. Frankly, this feels unbelievable.
The lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability from a company operating in the security sector is deeply concerning. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Securitas.
Securitas Security Services help desk is useless
Completely ridiculous. When calling the help desk, they refuse to answer the phone. I can NOT access my OneId and i need some information about MY account. This is completely unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars rest assured I would

Absolutely terrible company, do not sign up with them. They make it impossible to call for service, and then they make it impossible for you to cancel after your contract is up! How is this even legal in Canada??? They need to be reported.

Absolutely terrible customer service and a deeply frustrating experience.
I have tried to cancel my service with Securitas Technology for months. I emailed them, I called them, and every single time their agents told me that someone would call me back to complete the cancellation.
No one ever called. Not even once.
They completely ignored my cancellation requests and refused to take responsibility. It honestly felt like they were deliberately avoiding the cancellation.
In the end, I had no choice but to contact my bank and stop all future payments because Securitas Technology simply would not process my request.
A company that ignores customers, makes empty promises, and refuses to take action is not trustworthy. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice.
If you value proper service, accountability, and respect — look elsewhere.
Worst customer service
Worst customer service, paying for nothing. I called Operator 647 on November 17 and shows no empathy. No help was receive from this agent and transferred me to technical team which keeps on ringing for 30mins and nobody answered. My concern was not resolved, such a Waste of time and waste of money.
Pretty pathetic company overall
Pretty pathetic company overall. My grandparents had a security system installed without my mother and me knowing. We walked in and they were already in the house doing up the contract. A month later my grandparents had to go into a home as they were not able to take care of themselves anymore. we called Securitas and told them what was happening and all they said that we were locked into the contract and could not do anything about it. Like how unethical….. you have that much of a b***er for money you won’t let and elderly couple out of a contract and a system that won’t even be used. Over all do not go with this company.

Had a problem this morning me and my mate were lost ended up somewhere we didn't no. A female security was so helpful she got us a taxi stayed with us till taxi came.
Wasn't rude had a laugh with her. Should be more like her so friendly helpful kind woman. This was in somewhere called Warrington
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I am moving out of province and wanted to cancel my subscription and contract on the move date. The rep stated that I had a contract until 2027 and could not cancel. I explained the termination clause in the contract (1 month fee plus up to $50) but she insisted I would need to make an appointment with their lawyers. I explained that the contract was clear and could simply be canceled. She insisted. I insisted. She said she'd call me back with an appointment date. When she did call back she said they could can el and made make a verbal statement that I wanted to cancel and included the cancelation date, twice. However, when I got up this morning my service had been canceled.

I had the alarm system installed after we had intruders in our property.
The system that was installed never worked.
Over 2 years I called multiple times and sent over 50 emails. They promised to send an engineer to fix on 3 occasions. Nobody came.
They took 500 euros out of our bank account when we cancelled the direct debit. They still would not fix the system.
I have had to pay them for 2 years for a system that does not work and they now won’t give written confirmations that the account is cancelled.
Securitas poor Employee
I'm made several complaints on employee who work in the Walmart as security, she has spent a great deal of time gossiping &talking about employee she continuesto be disruptive in the work place,employees have went to store management hoping to deal with this matter but there is one store couch in this store that covers for her, but it is also up to Securitas to insure there employee reflect the company in a positive matter ,I've complained to her boss but nothing, others have also complained,I even reported they found money &keep it never reporting it, I was sent a email saying management had this handled but still going on,at this point management should have already relocated her or let her go, not reporting money & keeping it should have been a deal breaker, there has been many many dates that the reports have been done on.

These people are horrible. I have spent multiple days on the phone trying to get technical help and I get nothing just placed on hold every 5 minutes where they must be twiddling their thumbs to kill time im stuck in a 5 year contract with shit service for 100 a month I have no idea what to do but am at my wits end with this company. This has been on going since I got this crappy product installed. I have dealt with 1 good person after slamming them on Facebook she got back to me . Otherwise it's like they no one knows what they are doing. Im so fed up!!!!!!!

Securitas is awful
Securitas is awful. Their customer support is terrible. Services are overpriced. Now over two weeks since I first reported issues - that's a pretty long time to be without a properly functioning security system.
I've spent hours on the phone trying to resolve seemingly simple issues. I can't get someone that speaks English well enough to understand or assist in supporting the issue, nor will a supervisor return a call. I've been promised this for days, the first time I got an email back that wasn't related to my issue, subsequent promised follow-ups with a call haven't happened. I call back they say yes they will call you back today - nothing. So I start emailing. Nothing. Ask to cancel my account. Nothing. Write a review - company replies we want to help email this address, email them and you guessed it - nothing. The service I'm paying for is not functioning properly, nor can I reach them to cancel. Time to withdraw pre-authorized debit.

Where is my property??
We ended the contract with Securitas at the end of May and I'm yet to receive my passcard and fob back and we were charged for the return in a final invoice! Poor service.
No customer service
I have been trying since may to get some service for our system….. no luck. I have spent at least 3 mornings/afternoons waiting for a call back or promised visit. I am moving …. I only want confirmation that they will disconnect. Ultimately I am stopping payment as that seems to be my only recourse. These guys won’t be in business much longer in my opinion.
Its been impossible to cancel my security system
I have been trying to cancel my security system for over a year! I no longer even own the house, but they are still monitoring the system and sending me invoices. Below I pasted my first message to them a year ago about their cancellation process, and a year later its still not cancelled, even after following up many, many times over many months.
attempting to cancel this system has been extremely frustrating. There is virtually no information on the Securitas website on how to cancel a residential account and then when I called, I went through at least four rounds of phone trees (none of which has option to cancel or speak with a customer service representative), was redirected to three different representatives, while on the various holds was disconnected three times. The process, which should have taken minutes, took over an hour and a half.
Heartless, no empathy
I got an offer of Employment.
All my uniform was posted to me. I was so pleased I could get out of my old job and into a new one.I was given a start date. As that date come around my brother was put on end of life because he had brain cancer. I couldn’t start on my starting date. I told securitas what happened and I thought they was alright with them (Michael Vaughan) is the area manager. Then I gets this letter from him cancelling my contract and threatening me to take me to court if I did not fetch the uniform back and he would sue me for £250.I did suggest to the company if they could leave my job on file and when my brother dies I would come to work .This company shocked me in how they treated me. Securitas's modus operandi if…
After Securitas acquired our Security company, the service to our account was non-existent so we decided to go to another company. Here is Securitas's modus operandi if you try to close the account: After receiving official termination notice, they will continue to send invoices and past due notices with email and phone numbers to pay the past due amounts, they will email "Case Numbers" as a reference with the promise that a team member will reach out but then ignore the requests, and if you call them you will be put on hold until you give up. Like the Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
