I am reluctant to leave negative reviews as I support small businesses but my experience with Sewisfaction has been less than satisfactory.

Class booked 3 months in advance was cancelled with just over 2 weeks notice. 3 weeks later and no sign of refund or response to emails.

A previous payment was take)n by them for a class but no booking details given and no response to emails.

A request made by me to defer a third class for 2 weeks (booking made 3 months ago) due to a medical condition and the class now taking place on the hottest predicted day of the year when their studio is not temperature controlled was refused. Their reason: tutors and materials paid for in advance. I note that the tutor is Sheona, owner of the business, and that materials are supplied by customers.

All in all a very poor experience. I have paid £437 yet have received no tuition or classes; no refund for class that they cancelled at short notice and unwillingness to make an adjustment for a customer with a geniune request.

Fantastic fabric shop. I love buying from here and also really enjoy the Instagram and YouTube content. Faultless!

I attended my first dressmaking workshop at Sewisfaction and it definitely won't be the last. The teacher was thorough, patient, engaging and fun. The fabrics are beautiful and the work space is light, airy and comfortable to be in. An all round fabulous experience!

Quick service and gorgeous fabric!! It was made into a dress a day after I got it!

I enjoyed the experience of learning how to use a sewing machine in a small group of five other newbies. We were encouraged to learn at our own pace and questions were answered clearly and willingly. Our sewing projects were designed to tackle new skills each week. The atmosphere was friendly and informal. Great experience.

I gave 3 stars because I live in the US and I prefer Paypal. Nonetheless, I am pleased with the merchandise that I saw online and would order if it were a different method of payment.

My 9yo daughter and I have both had excellent experiences with Sewisfaction and it’s owner, Sheona. The classes we have taken have been fun and informative, and Sheona and the other staff are always helpful and ready to answer any questions I have. My daughter always looks forward to the kids’ sewing classes in the school holidays, and wants a Sewisfaction birthday party this year! I also love that they have an online shop - perfect for browsing if I’m stuck for ideas, but also if I need to indulge in a little late-night retail therapy!! Please visit - I highly recommend this shop!

Even though overseas shipping was involved, the fabric I ordered arrived safely and quickly. Customer service worked with me to make the purchase and all went well. In fact, I'm quite happy with the entire purchasing experience. After receiving the fabric, I realized the pattern I originally selected won't work. However, I'm sure I'll find something suitable for this lovely and unique fabric.
