Waste of time and money

Horrible experience with this company I should of read the reviews before I paid in full. Stewart will demand your money asap then you’ll never see him again all you’ll get is a silly booklet witch he says helps when it honestly doesn’t.

Trust me, for his high price of £380 and promise of a guaranteed pass. It’s all a lies go els where there allot cheeper and will actually assist you when you need it step by step.

SG is a joke!!!

In reply to Harry Jones.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. As you have chosen to make you feelings public, I trust you will understand if I respond publicly as well.

When we originally spoke of your wish to enroll on the Personal Licence Training Package, you were advised that the training and exam would be online.

You accepted this.

You were also advised that the fee of £320 + vat included not only your training and exam, but also your personal licence application and all associated fees with this application.

This is also something you accepted.

You were originally booked on a course for the 5th October, but at your insistence, we were able to bring the exam date forward to the 20th September, by swapping you and another candidate.

You were provided with the full course content on line as promised, with a set learning instruction that the training via the content should take 6 hours.

You took the exam on the 20th September, and failed. The training provider host advised me you had not even opened the training material to study prior to the exam.

You then complained to me that I offered a guaranteed pass. My emails to you are clear on this point. We don't guarantee you pass, we offer free resits and access to the training material for free until you pass, even though there is an administration fee to pay for each exam. This fee is paid by me, for you, on your behalf.

For some reason you expected 1:1 training for your resit, even though the terms were quite clear from the beginning that all training is provided via on line material.

As per our agreement, we rebooked your free resit for the 30th September, at our expense.

I then received phone calls from the training provider advising me that you had been in touch with them directly saying as I was paying for your resits, you would deliberately fail them. They contacted me with concern, saying they were not happy to proceed with resits as you were setting out to fail them. Their belief was you were "attention seeking" Neither did the examiners wish to waste their time with an applicant who had no intention of passing. They quite rightly have better things to do.

I asked that the exam on the 30th be allowed to proceed as booked, and I would meet the cost.

I received an email from the course provider today advising you did not show up for your exam on the 30th.

My company has helped over 300 applicants obtain their personal licenses since the start of the first lockdown period. All to date have been satisfied, the majority of candidates passed on the first attempt, but for the few who did not, we arranged resits until they did pass.

We do what we say we will do.

However, you as a candidate also have responsibility. You need to study the training material, and you need to show up for the exams, and when you do, actually try to pass.

These are the three basics you have failed to grasp.

Given the above, you may wish to retract your comments that I have lied to you, which as you can see is clearly not true, and as such can have serious consequences.

Beware,Don't believe everything about Sglicensing

Beware, I have worked with him in the past ,and he acts professional and you will think he is since he belittles you, he only accepts cases which are 100% case to be won and doesn't accept any hard cases .No wonder your saying we garrantee 100%. I had done my license with him a year ago and probably too late late to write a review now but better than never. There's too many scams happening now days be safe guys!

I will say something positive though ,apart for his high rates ,he's helpful if your application doesnt go through and you go to legal troubles which is rare ,but atleast his rates cover that much ,oh wait they don't you have to pay extra for that .I know it was something positive but..... honestly is brutal

Finally, All I would say is if u want someone to act professional for stuff even yourself can do , go with him.And if you have legal issues then find some local licencing agency who knows what they are doing and you know where to find them.

I doubt this review will remain since I saw the previous bad review being threatened by legal action .

I honestly have no idea who you are. I have searched my data base for the name provided, James Grover, and there is no such name on my records. Please provide the date I applied for your licence and the name of the premises concerned and I will happily answer your concerns on this public forum.
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards

No Response

Sent an online enquiry and also left a voicemail, haven't heard back for a while - Probably a true reflection of how new customers are treated.

............. In response to our message Mr SG, your emails went to spam because you personally didn't email me, you used a marketing tool to email me and as a result, your emails went to spam I realised this today.

You have my personal mobile number why have you still not called? I checked my call records and your team rang me on a withheld number, the call may have failed and there was no second attempt or an email from a genuine person to say that there was an attempt.

The only email I have received from you is about legal action, this is the only genuine email I received. Your other emails were automated and my email system picked them up as spam and blocked them. Instead of ringing me personally to address my review you instead decided to threaten me with legal action - What kind of Customer Service is this? You assume I am trying to tarnish your businesses with multiple posts but that was me editing the post due to typos. Any sane business owner would have called me personally in order to find ways to turn that negative review into a positive one.

I had no intention of trying to seek free advice, I recently got my Personal License and was ready for the next step, I thought your business would help but clearly threats of a lawsuit is much higher on your priority list.

Get your facts right before sending threats, you have my number. If you would like this post removed, call me.

Online enquiry received 22/6/21 at 19:20. You also tried to call my direct line at the same time. You were called at 11;20am by one of my team on the 23rd June to discuss your enquiry. You answered then hung up. You have also received an email from me every day since the 22nd June. From your enquiry it is clear you are looking for free advice. Your review is libelous, and is a clear attempt to discredit my company on Trustpilot. I suggest you read your email without delay, as full detail of the legal action that will follow is clearly set out in the email unless you withdraw this review.

We have known Stewart for 20+ years

We have known Stewart for 20+ years and he has always looked after us at the highest level. The one thing we feel good about is that he is on the end of the phone at any time to give help and information. All of our local council inspectors have been very impressed by his input to our business. Absolute peace of mind. Charles and Linda Isle of Wight

Very professional and reasonably priced

Stewart Gibson has help me achieve licenses on two premises and on both occasions he acted professionally and achieved even more than was initially expected by me. Stewart has an exceptional knowledge of licensing rules and there is nobody I would sooner have represent me in a licensing hearing. Would totally recommend.

Worst company I ever dealt with

Please be careful of this one man company The person called Mr Stewart Gibson soon as he took the payment you won’t see the person.

That’s exactly happened to me after several emails & calls luckily I got back some of the payment.

Don’t be fool

Please use other professional companies for any Licensing matters.
