Great customer service
I've been using Share-Now since last November and I must say - it is a really convenient and great way to get a car in Copenhagen without actually buying a car (and knowing how expensive it is here).
However, what made me write this review is a great customer support - if I had a problem with finishing a trip or just having a question - they are usually quite fast to answer all requests. Also, they are very kind, accommodating, and very nice to talk to :)

Worst customer service ever
I don't usually leave reviews but this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The guy on the helpline was so rude and argumentative. Challenged every point I raised and would sarcastically say "hmmm" every time I tried to speak. I have used Share Now for 3 years and to be spoken to like this made me so angry and upset. In the end they begrudgingly gave me a 50DKK credit after a really negative rental experience, but I will be deleting the app as soon as it is gone. Recommend hiring people who actually want to speak to your customers respectfully.
*Pleased to update that Dion, the Team Leader at Share Now, reached out regarding my experience and offered a sincere apology and refund. It was much appreciated and I am happy this could be resolved. I will continue using Share Now as a result of Dion's outreach.

Cumbersome app
The cars often will not start, and the app is incredibly cumbersome to set up and use. Please, do choose another solution if you need a car!

Map not accurate
The share now map available both in the website and app is not accurate. I received few parking fines in an area that is signed as free parking zone. When i called them, they told me they cannot exclude single streets or areas from the map, but i need to check myself, even though it's not true and in certain areas they have clearly took off a street or a zone where is not possible to park. Impossible to trust.

it could be so good
I like the concept but it get a worse and worse. Especially the cleaning of the cars are becoming a disaster. Extremely dirty, filled with stinky empty takeout bags, dog hairs, smelling of smoke etc 🤢

Share now is very good
Share now is great, definitely. I make often use of it.
One thing I suggest to improve is the policy of reserving a car in advance. I did reserve one for the whole day the last weekend, at 9 o'clock in the morning, which was actually a bit too early, but I discovered it only on Saturday night. An email was sent to me, confirming I had to start the rental, but I was out, not looking at the phone in the early morning, for more than an hour. I came back at 10.30, sure to find the car, but instead, there was no car and a feed of 60€ in its place.
I think that requesting an extra confirmation is useless, once I reserved the car for the whole day. Let me pay in advance in this case, but leave me some space for managing my time comfortably.

At the moment you are able to make pre-booking at least 25 hours before you need the car. This gives us time to find the right car and deliver it to the requested address.
You will then be able to start the rental 1 hour before the time you ordered, and 1 hour after.

I use ShareNow a lot in and around the Copenhagen area. And yeah, sometimes the cars are a bit messy (users not cleaning up after themselves), sometimes the battery isn't as full as I need (my fault for not checking the levels beforehand) and sometimes I get stuck in traffic and think about the meter ticking away (defo not the fault of ShareNow) - but the reason for my 5-star rating is the customer service I have received over the years. Any time I have had a problem with the car, the app etc etc and phoned their customer service, I have only ever talked to a helpful respondent, and never have I had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get through to an actual person - yes! you read that! An actual person. ShareNow, keep this up and I'll always remain a faithful customer :-)

Works fine most of the times
It is easy to find a car and generally it works ok, however 40% of the times I tried to charge by using the chargers that the app suggests, an issue came up with the car and eventually it did not charge even when the cable was connected perfectly. Of course I have wasted time to figure it out, which counts as extra money. The cars are usually in a good condition and their comforts are good.

Good experience
The cars work perfectly, and the app is very easy to use. Prices are a bit high but now everything is expensive so I guess it’s not their fault.
The only issue I have is with people leaving a mess inside the cars… when you eat a Kebab please take the trash out of the car when you are done with it…

Cars are unsafe
Truly horrible. Cars are dirty and not maintained. My last booking - I pre-booked a car for a week. A few hours after I started my rental the tire pressure light came on, while I was driving with my 9 year old son and partner on the highway. We went to the first petrol station and rebalanced the tires and3/4 were inflated literally to half the correct air pressure. When I brought it up to the company they insisted this was not a safety risk, told me that car maintenance was my responsibility and compensated me only 200 kr for my time. Absolutely ridiculous.

Unfair parking control
Using share now at the end I spend much more money than just taking taxi. Getting parking ticket every 5th ride.
And only thing they do it’s just handle your parking ticket for extra 150kr instead of focusing on getting people notified where they park on the app.

SHARE NOW is not issuing any parking tickets, it is the municipality e.g. Københavns Kommune or private parking companies/providers that issue tickets. We are, however, involved as we amongst others need to provide the parking companies with information about the car and customer. In some cases, we pay the ticket if the parking has been done according to our general parking rules..
If you don’t agree with the ticket, you are always more than welcome to discuss your case with the municipality or the private provider.
The fee of 150 kr. is paid for our administrative effort as we have people employed to handle the tickets. The fee is amongst other things covering our time spent on handling these types of cases.
You can always read our parking rules in the FAQ in the app or on the website. The general parking rules from the municipalities and private providers can be found on parking signs, but are also available online with e.g. Københavns Kommune.
