Shaws customer support on line particilaruy Beibhinn who was prompt in reply,friendly efficient and for me not gòod with computer fixed.my mistake with five minutes of contacting her.
She needs to be used by Shaws to teach staff on customer service

Limited Product Availability

Once again, the day after the weekly sales start and magically my Shaws located in Fall River, Ma does not have the meat products that are shown in their flyers. It seems whoever decides what goes to each store never sends the sales items to the Fall River store or they send a minimal quantity of items. I have noticed in the past that the day after a sale ends the store suddenly has excessive amounts of what they did not have during the sale. Last trip to Shaw's as their competitors actually have what is displayed in their flyers.

Check your receipts

I'm disabled, have problems to leave the house, online shopping is the option. Hard enough every order it's a surprise, overcharged, charged wrong, and offcourse the driver tip % is calculated from the original shopping amount and never adjusted to the final shopping amount, so if you initial amount is $ 200.00 and you're giving 10% ,but at the end your receipt it's $120.00 you will still being charged for the original 10% of the $200.00 for the driver tip. The online shop does NOT adjust the amount when shop is done. And customer service keep telling you that you can change the Tip amount, but you can't after the shop is finalized. Keep an eye on your receipt. And Also check the charges on your items, online shopping does not always charge you the promotional price/ weekly add price etc. Always check.i love the fact that shaws now delivery for online shopping without using instacart, just need some small adjustments. Also bulk items. Bulk items are good for business but we households can't buy too much from one item, one person should have the choice to buy obe or 2 unit. Not a whole case,come on shaws. Online shoppers need the same options as the walk in shoppers.

On Sunday 03/03/2024 approximately @4:45pm. I stopped in to pay RI energy bills cash at Shaws location in Chapel View Cranston RI. Shaws employees named Aden asked for my ID. I have been paying utilities bills at this same location for years no one ever asked for my ID. Shaws employees named Aden responded, was oh we asked for iD is for your protection. This is pathetic and low standards unprofessional. When they made changes to their policies the least they could do is provide their customers so that people understand and respect their rules. I see no noticed stating customers must provide ID in order to pay utilities. I will not shop at Shaws anymore.

First time and last time buyer. Terrible experience.

First time using a supermarket delivery. The order went fine until I tried to enter special instructions in the box. I spent 20 minutes typing and it erased it every time. I finally just put the order through and called customer service. They put me on hold for 11 minutes and assured me that it would be delivered correctly. I had surgery several days ago and needed them brought the extra 4 feet from the back door to the kitchen and I cannot lift anything. When I got up this morning they groceries were sitting on the back porch. Nobody rang the bell or made any attempts to bring them in.
I call customer service who said she was giving a complaint. They were absolutely useless. No attempt whatsoever to correct their mistake. I have always shipped ar shaed but will now try peapod or anyone other than the incredibly crappy sevice from shaws. I had 20 dollars ready to tip the guy who brought them in despite the fact that you already forced a tip on e

If you want to order from Shaw's online…

If you want to order from Shaw's online and decide to cancel please be advised that they will take most likely 30 days to give you a refund Everytime you call they will tell you a different day it should get back in your account and one guy might even tell you they never took the money off your card when you can clearly see the money was taken off your card and suddenly my receipt from the Shaw's app was none existing after I ask to cancel my order very frustrating it's better to just go into the store instead of online shopping

Don’t even give them a one had to call 49 times in less than a month then called free phone to o2 and they were going to charge me 3k I’m a business and wasn’t allowed to cancel the next day and Lewis is such a liar sorry to say. Stay well back I was soo Ill when I got pestered to change even though I told him so much pressure

Great products of good quality

I and my sister use the Exeter Shaws regularly, their prices are very competitive and of good quality; We buy their wool for various knitting and crochet projects and have never been disappointed. I also have purchased bedding and underwear from them. I cannot fault any of their products. Jane and her team are so helpful and kind and go out of their way to help you. Congratulations Exeter Shaws.

EXCELLENT ALL ROUND

First time I have used Shaws but it certainly won't be the last. The service is outstanding, the prices competitive & postage charges are more than fair. I received my tie-backs very quickly, the quality was great & exactly as advertised. I will recommend Shaws to all my friends........

Amazing

Amazing. I've bought wool from Shaw's. The prices are competitive, the choice and stock is fantastic. There's always a good deal to be had. The delivery cost is affordable. Brilliant, very satisfied.
