Wendy Shepherd was very helpful and prompt to reply to my question giving me all the details I requested.
I hope the deliver goes as well.

Ordered a shed, used Paypal and the default address went to mine but wanted the shed delivered to my son’s. Contact Shed.co.uk really simple and easily explained. All sorted and Shed.co.uk contacted the delivery team then had an email confirmation from Wendy at Sheds, so shout out to her. Nothing too much trouble. When next I need another shed, know where I’m going.

Very prompt and responsive service

Ordering and finding what i wanted on the website was easy. Went for the cheaper overlap shed. Chose delivery date. Three days later i'd had no confirmation of the order apart from paypal letting me know i'made a payment, the website account showed the order had been made. Emailed them and had a very swift reply from wendy shepherd the same day with a copy of the invoice confirming order and delivery date. Three days before delivery day had email from their delivey co. confirming delivery ,then day before, another email confirming delivery and would get 2 hour notice for delivery. All good, got a message through and delivery was on time, brilliant driver put the loose separate shed pieces up the driveway and put them where my wife asked him too. I get home to start treating the ahed panels to find some overlap pieces didnt overlap leaving close to a 10mm gap you could see through. Nails that where not in properly, nails that had been shot in at an angle which pulled the wood out of alignment, would need to be sorted before putting together, warped panels and roof boards, and the capping felt was squashed flat and creased. Not really what i expected going by the great reviews that i read before ordering.
So i emailed them through the website again, 2days no reply, so i emailed wendy shepherd directly from the previous email i received from her, and once again, within the same day a reply. Offering to have pieces that i needed replaced. The idea was to have the shed assembled over the weekend, but that was not going to happen now. Lets hope things get sorted out. Hopefully they will as thw email replies from wendy are very positive

Great shed only ordered a few days ago ,and has know been delivered, delivery driver was great and explained that you have to unscrew quite a few screws to unpack ,thats all done and ready for when I remove the old one .only niggle was there were no instructions or fixing pack delivered but this was rectified with a quick email ,and a nice quick response. Thank you

The aftersales service I have just received was second to none, a top class service.
Wendy Shepherd is the most efficient person I think I have had the pleasure to deal with.
In a nutshell I had a problem with the shed I’d bought 9 months ago, within 1 day Wendy had taken my issues to the manufacturer and resolved it by getting replacement parts for the shed.
Not only was that superb service but 5 days later the parts have just been delivered.
If you’re looking for a company to buy from with amazing aftersales care then this is the place.

Purchased a BBQ shelter. Great product and excellent service. The instruction video did not play but contacted the office and Ben immediatley emailed me the instruction booklet.

this is genuinely the worse company i have ever dealt with. They seem to have all these partners that they work with and they have no idea which department manages which. shed was faulty when it arrived, took me months to get a some what good will gesture. wendy at sheds.co.uk is the worse customer service leader, she will ignore all emails and calls. i left numerous calls and emails, when i did get through to someone, they actually admitted they will ignore the email because they can and dont want to deal with it! i should have gone to homebase! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! NO COMMON SENSE WHATSOEVER!!

I haven’t received the shed yet but the service so far has been excellent. Both Ben and Wendy accommodated our needs with regard to delivery dates. Prompt replies and very courteous. Here’s hoping the shed is as good as the people who sold it!

Ordered a log cabin and the delivery arrived within the quoted timeframe. Unfortunately, a few end pieces and a pack of screws were missing. After contacting Sheds.co.uk, Wendy responded promptly and immediately took ownership of the issue. The following day I received an update confirming that the missing items were on their way, and they arrived as promised.

A great shed. We had a slight issue that it was delivered without the window but this was resolved very quickly and easily by Wendy

Had an issue with warped doors on my summerhouse. The service I experienced was above and beyond anything I have ever had from other manufacturers. The summerhouse itself is really well designed and went together really easily. Unfortunately the doors were warped but these guys were more than happy to replace them. The office staff and in particular Wendy helped me with my problem and Megan also helped with sorting the delivery of two new doors.

Ordered a shed but ultimately found it was not suitable. However the service received from Wendy Shepherd was excellent and very responsive.

Ordered a summerhouse cabin which was delivered and offloaded on the date.
Not opened the crate yet so can't comment on quality etc.
Had some queries which Ben sorted out efficiently and promptly, he also sent me a pdf of the assembly instructions which means I don't have to open the crate until I'm ready to start the assembly. Very useful and helpful

Delivery was ok and the Holt shed was packed securely but that's where anything good ends.
The T&G panels in the wall & roof panels where not interlocked so they looked more like planks with daylight streaming through, which has now got worse with the heatwave causing more T&G panels to separate.
The roof T&G panels were also not installed correctly so when it came time to secure the felt roof ( which by way was poor quality easy rip felt not the "heavy duty felt" which was stated) the T&G panels bounced like a trampoline when trying to hammer the felt nails in.
Combined with roof trusses that didn't match the panel centres on the wall which also didn't match the roof panel widths along with a massive gap along the ridge line due to poor design makes this shed an absolute horror.
I would never buy again.

We purchased a shiplap shed in March.

We were disappointed that no clear delivery time frame was provided at the time of purchase, which already caused inconvenience.
More importantly, since delivery and installation, the condition of the shed has become unacceptable.

The front of the shed has expanded significantly, and there are now holes appearing throughout the wood. Given the high cost of this shed, we did not expect such poor quality or deterioration within such a short period of time.

We have emailed the company a few times & had very poor replies saying how to care for the product only & nothing about the photos we sent.

Made an enquiry for a 16 x 7 shed by email as I wanted an extra door panel. James, the sales manager, came back to me very quickly and advised that an extra panel would cost £150. I also enquired about a shed base kit.
I did ask to delay the delivery until after the weekend but it arrived on a very wet Thursday morning. When I came to check the pallets contents it became apparent that there was a floor panel and a ridge panel missing.Also there was no base frame. After several phone calls and emails James agreed to sent the missing parts to arrive Thursday (they arrived Friday). I discovered that the base frame hadn't been added to the order so I just got some timber locally and made my own. The shed is now built and seems to be fairly sturdy once fully assembled. The only issue was when felting the roof. I felt the roof panels were not really weight bearing due to their construction. I used some spare timber to make props for the roof beams and make it safe to walk on.
There were some issues with missing parts but James sorted it out for me.

We purchased a Holt shed from James and we're very pleased with the level of service provided by him.

Shame you have to give a star!!

We had our shed delivered on 13 May 2026 and after unpacking the shed there was no checklist. One was finally sent over when I queried the parts.

Going through the checklist, there were several items missing or there were faulty parts as follows:

1. One of the roof panels was broken.
2. A gap of 1 inch at the bottom of the glass for the windows.
3. Floor panels were different sizes. Checklist said four 5ft panels. We received 2 x (3.8x5.77) and 2 x (3.8x3.8)
4. 5 out of the 6 full panels had split wood.
5. The large pent roof was damaged
6. There were no 4ft wide, 3ft wide, and 2ft wide felt strips provided.
7. The framework and floorboards were smaller than advertised. Floorboards were 15mm and not 18mm with the framework being 34mm x 44mm and not 38mm x 50mm. The 70mm and 100mm screws supplied were therefore too long and would be dangerous.

Advised that the floor panels are different to the checklist due to being in metric. If that is the case, they should have been 1524mm per panel and not the sizes provided.

Advised that the floorboards would shrink even though every floorboard was exactly the same. Also, the framework starts at 38mm x 50mm but becomes smaller after planning. None of this is in their advertisement.

We treated the floor panels with wood preserver as advised before attempting to put them together. The floor bearers did not align and was advised that it did not matter, even though their instructions advise screwing further posts to them to strengthen.

When screwing the floor panels together there were gaps of 1cm and 2cm between a couple of the panels. It did not matter where these were put, the gaps would still be there. It transpired that the floor panels were not square.

Ben G. confirmed in an email on 15 May 2026 that the manufacturer was issuing a credit note of £50.00 to our account to cover the cost of the wood preserver they advised and for the time taken. This has never been paid to us even after asking numerous times for this payment. Totally ignored each time!

The manfacturer has confirmed -

I have spoken with the customer and go thought it all with them.

We have issued a credit note to you for the customer of £50.00 and the replacement sections will be sent out from us on Monday for delivery on Wednesday and the old ones
collected as he will have them on a pallet.

Due to the numerous problems, we asked for the shed to be returned, and this was picked up on 19 May 2026.

I was advised that Sheds.co.uk received the refund from the manufacturer on Friday 22 May 2026 by James.

Even though Ben G., James and Wendy all confirmed that the refund would be dealt today, whenever I contacted them, it took until 5 June 2026 to be issued. Just over 2 weeks.

Customer Service is great when you are looking to buy but disappears when trying to get your money back!
