The best shin guards!! Light, easy to get on, and best of all so easy to clean!

Purchased 2 pairs of the Shindefenders as Christmas presents for my kids. Recently washed one pair, as instructed on the product, in a cool wash, to find the product has disintegrated and does not serve purpose. Contacted the company in China, to be told it should be hand washed. Ok, this wasn’t mentioned on the care instructions. However I had purchased another pair in the mean time. Asked about returning or a refund only to be offered 30% refund. Save yourself time and effort and avoid these cheap Far Eastern rubbish.

I purchased ShinDefender shin guards for my 9 year old son. We loved the compression style and initially thought these were the best shin guards until after a few washes and 1 shin guard started to break up (these are supposed to be washable?). I have reached out through the website/and email but have not seen a reply. There is no customer service number? I want a refund or a replacement as I paid the always 50% off $35 and they did not last 1 soccer season. Looks like there are less expensive options available on Amazon and at least Amazon will support customer service.

Do not use this company. The products took over 4 weeks to arrive for starters and on their first wash, they have disintegrated in the machine and are now just a sock filled with loose bits of foam. They are not suitable as any form of protection. On complaining, the company have been awful (although polite, probably AI generated responses) at processing a refund. After offering part refunds, they have now taken over a month to 'process' my refund - apparently that's how long it takes to organise a return postage with their internal system. I cannot express enough that you should not use this company for both quality of product and customer service.

I have been trying to return my items - offered a 30% partial refund as a trade off for not returning items. Naturally I want a full refund for the items i don’t want and wish to return. Told it will take several months to process a return and refund and refuse to provide a UK address to return to. The service team are now not responding to me. Absolutely shocking! Avoid!

Excellent choice for kids. My son says they are very comfortable and Don't move around during games.

I did read reviews after I purchased the shin guards. There was much misinformation about this product. I received the shin guards in quality packaging. The shin guards looked great. The material was put together well. My grandson likes the shin guards, he says they are comfortable and they are cool. They do not stick to his legs like the hard plastic guards so less sweat. Overall a great product. I purchased the blue size youth medium. He is small and thin for his age,12. This size was a perfect fit.

My daughter loves how easy they slide on and says they work great. 13yo so very opinionated.

Like many others, was sucked in by the reviews on the website and Facebook ads. Avoid this company. Shinpads take ages to arrive from China, and when they do, they offer very little protection and fall apart completely after the first wash. Don’t buy these!

Update - if you publicly highlight the problems on their Facebook page, they will block you and remove your comments. That’s how they have so many glowing reviews!

I have been waiting more than 2 weeks for this product and it didn’t arrive all customer service is rubbish I have no idea if it will ever come or not total scam

Delivery took several weeks. Once arrived, shin pads disintegrated after the first wash rendering them useless. I contacted Shin Defender asking for a refund, however, I was offered a 30% partial refund!

We have now filed a dispute through our credit card company. I urge anyone else to do the same.

Son happy. Likes to wear. First wash and all the foam inserts detached or lost their structure and it’s now a jumbled mess of honeycomb pieces in a sock?? Poor quality. Would not recommend. Whole USP is washable!

A complete scam. Item says delivered but never arrived. Delivery is Madrid, Spain and their tracking shows Madrid Street in Boston!!! This is a pure fraud!

They looked promising when they arrived and the son was excited to use them. Used once and the feedback was they were comfortable. Unfortunately, they were put in the washing machine, only at 30 which is the recommended cycle, the foam moved out of place and you are left with a foam mess, bunched up and distorted and unusable. Absolute con, for the price stay clear.

These are terrible! They did turn up after 3 weeks but offered little to no protection and unfortunately my son couldn’t use them. Verging on dangerous… waste of thirty quid. Save your money.

I bought these for both my children who play football, they were used for training and my son was kicked in the shin and they did very little to protect his leg. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

They looked like a good idea as my son always fiddles with his shin pads and can’t stop them slipping. However, they offer zero protection and I feel would be dangerous to wear in a game. Do not waste your money.

Advertised as 5-8 days shipping, but it took 28 days to arrive. Their customer service initially gave a useless response, and then subsequently stopped responding. The product quality is poor. Overall a terrible experience, I would not recommend this to others.
